Why boyz sound IGNORANT tellin' LeBron NOT to chase the Ghost! "Numbers Don't Lie"

"In order to be GREATER I've got to chase somethin' bruh!
Zig Ziglar once said, "What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals." Jim Rohn give it to us like this, "Discipline is the bridge between goals and accomplishment." Then Tony Robbins put it where the goats could get it, "Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible."
Well playas...LeBron James has set a goal for himself that most of these fake media-types believe is impossible for him to accomplish. Ole boy said in a article that appeared in Sports Illustrated on Tuesday that he's chasing' the Ghost and that ghost played in Chicago. After boyz read his comments they went nuts on the hater tip tellin' him that he's pretty much wastin' his time because Mike went 6-0 in the Finals. All kind of cats were talkin' out of the sides of their necks. But B.J. Armstrong, who won 3 titles with Mike had something to say that made sense for about 30 seconds then he went off the "idiot I'm not makin' sense rails" too.
This is what ole boy had to say, "If you want to be the best, get rid of the comparisons. Get rid of all the comparisons that are out there. That's what Michael Jordan did. Jordan realized that in order to be the best, you had to get rid of all the comparisons.
He went on to say, "When you compared Jordan to somebody else, it made him more and more upset. That was with guys who played before him, guys he was playing against and guys in the future. He got upset every time [the media] got on TV and started comparing him to other people. When you compared who is the best 2-guard -- Jerry West or Michael Jordan -- he was upset. When you talked about who was the best player in the NBA, he was upset. When you talked about who had the most championships, he was upset."
Aight bruh, let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Let's start with the fake media-types that jumped out of the birthday cakes hollerin' "Mike went 6-0 in the Finals. Look here bruh, winnin' a championship is a TEAM award! If Mike was on the better TEAM with the better role players and BEST COACH of ALL-TIME it makes sense they won the series all 6 times. That doesn't constitute him bein' the GOAT!!!
If that's the dumb logic you're usin' then Mike is the 1A and Scottie Pippen is the 1B-GOAT. Why? Because he went 6-0 in the Finals too. See how stupid that sounds bruh.
Playin' the game of basketball embodies more than goin' 6-0 in the Finals bruh. And we'll break down what all of those other areas look like in just a minute.
B.J. started off great then he fell off into a hole that he couldn't get out of sayin' that Mike got upset when boyz compared him to other players even when it came to championships. Now I don't know if B.J. can count but Bill Russell has 5 more championships than Mike! That's basic math playa! Not this new math that boyz are talkin' about. BASIC! like 1-2-3-4-5 more!! So with that bein' said, the ignorant argument of winnin' the most championships and goin' 6-0 in the Finals goes out of the window.
In order to become the GOAT you've got to do everything on the floor better that EVERYBODY else or at least be near the top in every category that counts for anything in basketball. I've already had this discussion with you boyz in the crazy Hot Joint I wrote entitled, "Brand" a few months ago.
What's blowin' my mind is that cats are tellin' LeBron NOT to even chase the ghost when he's still playin' the game of basketball! Why wouldn't he chase the ghost because there's nobody else in the history of basketball for him to chase?
Jordan is the All-Time leader in average points per game at 30.12!!! That's the gold standard! You're supposed to chase the gold standard and whether you reach it or not is irrelevant. LeBron needs to spit in his Lil' Kim "All About the Benjamin's" voice to these cats like Stephen A., "All that BS you kick playin' hatin' from the sideline, Get yo own ish, why you on mine!"
If LeBron aspires to be great shouldn't he be chasin' the dun that all of these fake media-types keep brain washin' boyz to believe is the GOAT? Even if it's not true. In order to be considered the GREATEST OF ALL-TIME you've got to be able to do EVERYTHING not just go 6-0 in the Finals on the BEST team with the BEST coach or score more points per game than anybody else. Whatever happened to total impact on the floor too: points, rebounds, assists, blocks, steals, shootin' percentage etc, etc, etc.?
Mike isn't  No.1 in ANY other category bruh! Kareem is No.1 in total points and is ahead of Mike by more than 6,000 points. But LeBron is ranked 18th and he's only 31 years old! So why wouldn't he chase the ghost? At the rate that he's goin' now he's goin' to top both Jordan and Kareem by the time he retires. You sound like a fool tellin' him NOT to chase the cats that are ahead of him.
When we look at field goal percentage DeAndre Jordan is at the top of the list with Jordan ranked 142nd while LeBron is already ranked 137th!! Let's run over to 3 point shootin'! Ray Allen is the best with LeBron at No.30  and Mike isn't even in the top 200!! But you cats are tellin' him NOT to chase the ghost? You sound stupid!!
Let's look at 3 point shootin' percentage because maybe Mike is hidin' in the bushes somewhere. Well Steve Kerr is No.1 and neither Jordan or LeBron show up in the top 250!! However, LeBron is ranked 30th in 3-pointers made and Jordan is 219th!! Again, LeBron is still playin' and is only 31 years old! What does that mean? He's gonna make more 3-point shots and move up the freakin' list!!!
Boyz are butt naked and foamin' at the mouth mad at me at this point but I'm not finished with this foolishness. Let's peel the onion back and see where these dun fall in sharin' the freakin'  ball. John Stockton leads the list with LeBron comin' in at 18th all-time right now! But Jordan wasn't ain't even in the top 250!!! So why again, are you tellin' LeBron not to chase the ghost again? Cause you hatin'!!!

That's like Beyonce' tellin' boyz that she's chasin' Michael Jackson and duns tellin' her NOT to waste her time. She's the best in the business right now and NOBODY else can hold a candle to her. She's got another 20 years to be productive and be great. To tell her that she's wastin' her time is to simply hate on her. Why? Because you're tellin' her not to reach for the so-called Gold Standard. That's what boyz are doin' with LeBron! But LeBron has exceed the standard when it comes to all-around play. Proceed!!!

Let's look at blocks! LeBron is already ranked 137th and Mike isn't even in the top 250!!! Jordan is 3rd in steals and LeBron is 24th today!!! He's still got at least 5 more years to play! At least!! When we look at rebounds LeBron is 99th TODAY!!! Jordan isn't even in the top 250!!! Stop it bruh! You sound crazy! Now why wouldn't he chase the ghost? In reality he's already caught the ghost and ran past him if we're talkin' all around basketball player!

LeBron's got just as many championships and Finals MVP's as Jordan did at 31 years old and 1 less NBA MVP award! So why don't you want him to chase the ghost? Oh, I forgot, because you're a hater that doesn't want to see him put up better numbers across the board by the time he retires so you can't keep throwin' up foolishness arguments like Mike went 6-0 in the Finals! Stop me when I start lyin'! Oh and for all you Jordan diehards that think I'm just makin' numbers up you can find the same joints on Basketball Reference.com! Why? Because the Numbers Don't Lie bruh!

Why Jordan is like a dead beat dad showin' up after 32 years bearin'gifts! "Influence"

"I tried bruh"
Phillip Brooks, the 19th century clergyman, once said, "Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks." Abraham Lincoln gave it to us like this, "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." Then Malala Yousafzai, the young Pakistani education activist, broke it down so that it would forever be broken when she spit, "When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful."

Well playas...even when the whole world is talkin' and cursin' each other out. When the great Michael Jordan speaks it's like E. F. Hutton up in this piece! EVERYBODY shuts up and listens! For the first time in the freakin' history of the world Michael Jeffery Jordan had something to say about something goin' on in this country. On Monday he wrote a letter to ESPN's The Undefeated with the headline, "I Can No Longer Stay Silent!"

He starts the joint off with, "As a proud American, a father who lost his own dad in a senseless act of violence, and a black man, I have been deeply troubled by the deaths of African-Americans at the hands of law enforcement and angered by the cowardly and hateful targeting and killing of police officers. I grieve with the families who have lost loved ones, as I know their pain all too well." He goes on to say, "We need to find solutions that ensure people of color receive fair and equal treatment AND that police officers – who put their lives on the line every day to protect us all – are respected and supported."He then tells a boy that he's goin' to donate $1 million each to The Institute for Community-Police Relations and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Well it's about freakin' time playboy!  You would think that the Pope made a statement or that President Barack Obama held a State of the Union Address the way boyz all over this country responded to Jordan simply openin' his freakin' mouth. That's all we've ever wanted out of this cat. Just use your power of influence to make a difference. JUST OPEN YOUR FREAKIN' MOUTH BRUH!!! You don't have to scream or holler! You don't have to march or fight! Why? Because you're Michael Jordan! JUST OPEN YOUR MOUTH!!! Your words are more powerful than any cat walkin' these streets. So what's the point in havin' the power if you're only goin' to use it once every 32 years.

The world stood still when Jordan spoke! Why? Because he's the most influential man on earth. He's got duns runnin' around this piece like zombies wearin' his shoes and gear and he's said nothin' about the pain and struggle of his OWN people that support him even though they know he's been sittin' in the cut watchin' it.

After 32 long years he finally says something but never really says a word! The dun didn't even speak. He made a statement through his publicist. That means that she wrote the joint and he approved it. He wasn't even REAL enough to use his own voice and he made sure to stay in the middle of the road so that nobody accuses him of really havin' an opinion. I don't care where you fall on any subject bruh just fall and be a G about how you feel about it. I've got more respect for ole dull Charles Barkley than I do Mike because at least Chuck will say what he's really thinkin' even though he's talkin' crazy and sideways 99.9999 percent of the time. Especially, when it comes to race and culture. At least the dun has an opinion.

This cat's been quiet for 32 years and then shows up butt naked climbin' out of the birthday cake with some bread as a distraction. He half gives an opinion and throws some money on the table. So for the rest of the day the headlines read "Jordan gives a $1 million each!" Not "Jordan feels or Jordan says XYZ about this, that and the third!" Understand this pimpin', money spends but influence changes the world. Muhammad Ali could have told you that bruh if your would have been willin' to listen but you were too worried about "Republicans buyin' shoes too." Catch that one on your way home playa.

And all of these Jordan defenders keep sayin', "Well it's better late than never. He's always doin' things on the low bruh! He doesn't want the attention." Nobody cares that he's movin' in silence with whatever you say that he's been doin' for 32 years. His voice is what people need bruh. Why? Because it's louder than EVERYBODY else's.

Mike showin' up bearin' gifts after 32 years of silence and neglect is like the dead beat dad that was never there walkin' into his daughter's wedding with a brand new car. Let me put it where the goats can get it. She doesn't NEED the car bruh! She needed you there to teach her HOW to drive. She needed you there to help her when she was helpless with no voice of her own. She's grown now!

When cats needed the dun with more influence and power than any other black man livin' for the past three decades he wasn't there!! Now he finally shows up because boyz have been lookin' at him sideways because over the past few years it's been gettin' thick out here. We needed his influence and power to at least gets folks attention but he refused to stand up.

When unarmed black folks all over this country were bein' murdered by law enforcement officers that were actually sworn in to protect and serve we needed those with a platform to SAY SOMETHING. When duns were killin' each other in OUR hoods we needed their power of influence to SAY SOMETHING. When our police officers both black and white were bein' killed by some deranged idiots we NEEDED boyz to use their power of influence to SAY SOMETHING! Why? Because the most powerful voices get the most attention.

After cats like Muhammad Ali, Kareem, Jim Brown and their boyz put in work and used their platform to make life better for the next generation Mike stood on their shoulders and just got rich. Boyz stood in the door waitin' for him to pull up but he never did. So guess what playa some other cats took his place. Melo, LeBron, D Wade, CP3 and the lovely women of the WNBA stood up and ran with the torch. They risked more than anybody because they make far less bread than anyone of these duns.

The average salary in the WNBA is $72K bruh and they were willin' to give up $500 per fine for what they believed in. Mike's a billionaire and for the first time in 32 years he decides to mumble a few syllables and toss $2 million on the table and boyz go nuts. Which was the greater sacrifice?

But with Mike bein' Mike and not wantin' to be out done. He jumped out of a the plane butt naked with a half cocked opinion throwin' money on the stage like Pacman Jones. Stop me when I start lyin'!

Why JORDAN could learn something from LeBron, Melo, CP3 and DWade! "Torches"

"We're in the ride too bruh!"
John D. Rockefeller once said, "Every right implies a responsibility; Every opportunity, an obligation, Every possession, a duty." Dick Gephardt, the politician, gave it to us like this, "Those who have prospered and profited from life's lottery have a moral obligation to share their good fortune." Then Phil Crane, another politician, put it where the goats could get it when he spit, "As my dad said, you have an obligation to leave the world better than how you found it. And he also reminded us to be givers in this life, and not takers."

Well playas...as I watched the ESPY's on Wednesday night and saw duns like Melo, CP3, D. Wade and LeBron stand before America and tell a boy that enough is enough with the gun violence, police brutality and retaliation my soul smiled!! These cats understand full well what the reality of black folks and black males are in this country. They used their platform to make a difference. They reminded America that they are just as black, just as vulnerable and just as affected by this foolishness as Pookie and Ray-Ray are in the Delaney Projects off in the G!

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Everyone of those cats have family in some hood in America and all of their family looks just like them. They've all got children that will one day drive a vehicle and will ultimately be stopped by the police. Those are the FACTS playboy!! And what boyz don't realize is that their kids will be GREATER targets by some racist cop than mine. Why? Because their kid will pull up in some multi-million dollar neighborhood drivin' a luxury vehicle and the freakin' cop isn't goin' to know that that's LeBron's or Melo's kid when he pulls them over talkin' crazy with the gun drawn. That's not me speculatin' bruh! That's me givin' you the reality of bein' black in America!

Just because you see these cats on TV every night and that they've got hundreds of millions of dollars it doesn't exclude them from the conversation of worryin' about their family and friends gettin' brutalized by the police and in some cases maybe even killed. So I applaud these cats for doin' what Michael Jordan has refused to do in all of his 32 years as a professional athlete. Say something, anything!! And that's why I've got NO respect for him!!!

Ole boy is the most powerful and influential person in the history of sports because of his resume and the Jordan Brand which should be respected because he's earned it. However, he's NEVER used that power to do anything but play basketball and sell shoes. Black men in this country are bein' hunted from all angles. Like I said in the crazy Hot Joint yesterday entitled "Surface Area" not only are cats havin' to run from the gangstas in these streets but now they've gotta run from the duns that were sworn in to protect and serve them! Wheredeydodatat?  I've got enemies in the streets and my safe haven is killin' me too!

Y'all can keep havin' the love-fest on Jordan if you want to but I can't ride with a boy that won't love me back! See Muhammad Ali was the G.O.A.T. not because of his ability to box bruh! He became the G.O.A.T because of his ability to make a difference in the lives of his people! He understood the value of his platform and he used it to make change in this world not only for black folks but for all folks. When God blesses you he's not just blessin' you bruh! He's wants to bless others through you!!

So when Melo took out a full page ad in the New York Daily to express how he felt about this foolishness he immediately became somebody that I mess with. Why? Because he didn't have to do it! He could have acted like he and his family were immune to the violence that everyday black folks in America are subject to but he's not crazy. Salute my brother.

I'm glad to see that these young cats playin' today understand that it's more to it than just playin' ball and gettin' rich. It's about makin' a difference.  Cats like Jim Brown, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Muhammad Ali put their careers on the line daily by supportin' the civil rights movement and other social issues in this country. People hated Ali until he was unable to speak, but he died a national hero. Why? Because he stood up to the government in protest of the draft and the Vietnam war etc. Brown founded the Amer-I-can program in 1988 to help young African-American males transition out of the gang life and prisons in L.A. and Cleveland. Kareem was very active in the civil rights movement in the late 1960's.

They tried to pass the torch down to Jordan but he let that joint hit the ground. He was given the opportunity to make the impact that he has made on the world as a result of their efforts! But all he wanted was the bread and not the obligation to help change the world.

I'm so glad that these young boyz didn't learn anything from Jordan and they decided to skip over him and take their lead from the old heads.

Beyond seein' these young boyz doin' what they did at the ESPY's on Wednesday night they're steppin' up big time. We're seein' them more and more athletes speakin' out on the injustice  of our people in America. We've seen cats like D. Rose, the five wide receivers from the St. Louis Rams with their hands up etc. We've seen boyz rockin' hoodies and t-shirts "I Can't Breathe!" We just saw the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx, who are the defendin' champs, wearin' the "Justice and Accountabilty" warm up shirts before a game this week in support of those that have died in these streets at the hands of the police or "so-called" police.

We even saw Cardale Jones, who was just a college quarterback at the time, use his power of influence to at least make a statement about the injustice surroundin' the Sandra Bland foolishness. But for more than 32 years all we've EVER gotten from Jordan was a jumper, a slam dunk, a tongue wag and some darn shoes! And that's the edited version.

Naw playa, I wanna see a boy get in the ride with me and everybody that looks like me and say enough is enough. That's love! And I don't care what color you are it affects all of us. Because until we learn to love each other we're still goin' to be dealin' with this foolishness. And don't get it twisted bruh, I speak at schools and to teams in the hood on a regular basis! Why? Because I've got a platform too and it's not just about sports. It's about encouragin' people to live up to their potential regardless of their circumstances.

So SALUTE to Melo, CP3, D.Wade and LeBron for usin' their platform to bring attention to this nonsense. And on your way to the crib stop by Jordan's house and remind him that his kids are black too. And that goes for his new kids too. Especially in the eyes of a racist cop. Stop me when I start lyin'!

Why MJ has hater tendencies but boyz keep ignorin' them! "The JordanIssues"

"Man, bump that team I'm running! I know I can still play!"

Oliver Stone spit some fire when he said, “Never underestimate the power of jealousy and the power of envy to destroy. Never underestimate that.” Johnann Kasper Lavatar, the Swiss poet, got up and said, “The jealous are possessed by a mad devil and dull spirit at the same time.” Then William Penn took his wide brim gangsta off, put his drink down and said, “The jealous are troublesome to others, but a torment to themselves.”

The great Michael Jordan is somewhere havin' a fit right now because his career is over and this young boy is literally doin' the impossible! LeBron has now won his third title and put up numbers of a lifetime durin' the Finals. As a matter of fact, All-Time stats in EVERY category. EVERYBODY with eyes have commented or flat out given this young boy his props but Mike! Now that dun won't say a word until he's asked about it and you already know he's gonna hate because that's what he does bruh!

Remember a few years ago when LeBron was still in Miami at media day after comin' off of  winnin' back to back titles and Jordan side swiped him? LBJ said that he had gotten better over the summer and that his long term plan was to become "the greatest basketball player EVER." Now that’s nothin' more than an honest conversation from a boy that’s still competin' in the NBA right?

However, when he said it I knew that ole dull MJ was gonna hit the news with some foolishness within 24 hours because he can’t just let this young boy shine! LeBron was comin' off of back-to-back championships and his 4thleague MVP so the world was his at the time just like it's his right now. Keep in mind that Mike only won 5 MVP’s in his career and LeBron was sittin'' on  4 at the young age of 28 at the time.

But ole dull Michael Jordan couldn’t stand that this young boy was shinin' so he tried to steal his  shine by sayin' that he’d beat LeBron in a game of 1 on 1 if he was in his prime while he was shootin' a video promotin' “NBA 2K14." You boyz wanna draw a blank but I'm not gonna let you. Y'all heard him say it. Now keep in mind that Jordan had been on the cover since 2011 when he signed a sponsorship deal with 2K Sports. Then in 2012 he shared the cover with Magic and Bird. But that year Lebron was on the cover by himself so this dun felt like ole boy was takin' his shine  even in the video game!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! For years boyz have been crucifying LeBron and Mike is the O.G. Now everybody knows that the O.G. can control the noise level in any hood in any situation. But Mike chooses not to because he wants to be the G.O.A.T. forever. MJ is what we call a 100% U.S.D.A Prime and FDA Approved Hater!

Now here’s the roof top screamer shoutin' at me again, “Why is Jordan a hater for sayin' what he really thinks bruh? You always protectin’ LeBron! Wassup wit that dawg?”

Here’s wassup with that pimpin? Let’s put it in perspective playboy! Jordan was the G.O.A.T., the greatest player to ever play the game at the end of his career. His resume speaks for itself. You can’t add anything to it or take anything away from it. You would agree with that right? But nobody's askin' Bill Russell or Kareem how they feel about that though.

So why is a 53 year old man that is considered by most as the greatest player ever constantly takin' shots at a young boy that's simply tryin' to do his thing? You didn’t hear the Big O or Bill Russell talkin' about how they would beat Jordan in their prime and so on and so forth. They weren’t sittin' in the joint giving away a boy’s trade secrets and tellin' the media that if he goes to his left he’s goin' to the rack and if he’s goin' to his right he’s shootin'! Oh y'all wanna act like you don't remember Mike pullin' that stunt?

You never heard of Muhammad Ali doin' interviews and tellin' boyz that he would have knocked Tyson out when he was comin' up!

Deion Sanders ain’t runnin' around tellin boyz that Darrelle Revis or Richard Sherman can't cover like he could or Joe Montana constantly tellin' folks that he’s better than Tom Brady or Peyton Manning. Jerry Rice ain't at the food court in the mall tellin' boyz that Megatron didn't have hands like he had. Jim Brown and Barry Sanders ain't in the barber shop throwin' dominos at duns sayin' that Adrian Peterson can't tote the rock like they did! Stop it! You sound crazy!

Sidney Poitier wasn’t in the street dissin' Denzel on his way up! You didn’t see Richard Pryor slammin' Eddie Murphy’s routine. Michael freakin’ Jackson wasn’t tellin' folks that he was better than Usher or Chris Brown! And you know that some fake media-type has asked all of them those same dumb questions. Why haven’t you heard of them talkin' crazy? Because they are/were secure in who and what they are/were! People that are accomplished don’t need validation bruh because their resume has already been validated!

The great Walter Payton said it best when he said, "When you're good at something, you'll tell everyone. When you're great at something, they'll tell you!"

Mike’s got issues because he’s been famous long enough to know that boyz are fishin' and he keeps voluntarily takin' the bait.Somebody is goin' to ask him what he thought of LeBron's All-Time Finals performance of 208 points, 79 rebounds, 62 assists, 16 blocks and 18 steals and like clockwork he's gonna dismiss it like he was playin' in the rec league somewhere. Why? Because he wants to be the man forever!

When Mike was 50 years old that dun was braggin' about beatin' a then high school senior, O.J. Mayo, in a game of 1 on 1. You know you’re dealin' with a cat with some serious issues regardless of how great a player he was. That same year when he turned  50 he was tellin' boyz durin' the All-Star break that he’s thinkin' about makin' a comeback because a certain young boy was shinin' that weekend. That's a problem bruh. But Jordan diehards can’t see that their boy is a hater.

Take your heart out of if bruh and while you're at it take off those same ole sneakers that he's been sellin' you since '86! Also, come out of the Jump Man 23 sweat suit, the Jump Man goggles and turn off Space Jam so that you can see this dun for who he is.

Most cats defendin' Jordan never even saw him play or only got in on the back end of his career. That's anybody under 40 playboy! He revolutionized the sports marketin' and brandin' game and boyz can't separate his foolishness from that. He was a great player but he's a selfish individual! Just go listen to his Hall of Fame speech if you think I'm lyin' to you! It's all about him bruh!

First of all, O.J. Mayo ain’t even close to being LeBron James. Also braggin' about beating Michael Kidd-Gilcrist was just as stupid too but boyz just let it slide because it’s Jordan.

The Kobe fans were runnin' around hyped that he said that he couldn't beat him and completely missed the shove in the face that he gave him. They were so gullible that they didn't even pick up on the fact that Jordan took a swipe at him. He straight up said that he couldn't beat Kobe because Kobe was him. Why? Because Kobe wasn't creative enough to be his own player and person! He played like Mike! He walked like Mike, talked like Mike and even chewed gum like Mike! So Mike can't hate on himself right? Only the real G's in the buildin' picked up on that though! I'm spittin' but y'all ain't listenin'!

Mike needs to go somewhere and sit his “A” down like Big Momma used to say. Let these boys do what they do and stop hatin’! He’s gonna be 75 years old still talking crazy because he can’t accept that his playin' days are over and that he can’t change his stats nor add to his accolades. All he can do is sit and watch this young boy win, put up more points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals, stock pile awards, take his place as the G.O.A.T. and it’s drivin' his dull spirit crazy. Stop me when I start lyin’!

How Ali set the standard and I've got NO Respect for Jordan! "TheSandMan"

"I'm still gone be selfish bruh!"
Henri Frederic Amiel, the 19th century Swiss philosopher, once said, "There is no respect for others without humility in one's self." Jackie Robinson gave it to us like this, "I'm not concerned with your liking or disliking me... All I ask is that you respect me as a human being." Then the big homie, Albert Einstein, spit that fire when he said, "Everyone should be respected as an individual, but no one idolized."

Well playas...the GREATEST OF ALL TIME passed away on Saturday mornin' and boyz around the world are "puttin' some respeck of his name!" Like I said in the Hot Joint entitled "Respeck On His Name" that I wrote just yesterday, Ali was the greatest of all time not because of what he did in the ring but because of what he did outside of it. He wasn't just a boxer bruh! He used his influence to change the world. Greatness is all about what you do outside of your profession. As I reflect on Ali's life it reinforces why I've got NO respect for Michael Jordan!

Boyz out here not only respect Jordan but they idolize him for all of the wrong reasons. Ole boy is the most powerful and influential person in the history of sports because of his resume and the Jordan Brand which should be respected because he's earned it. However, he's never used that power to do anything but play basketball and sell shoes. If life were only played on the court I wouldn't have a problem with him bein' an international hero. Unfortunately, life goes well beyond the game of basketball.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Jordan came into the league in 1984 and you've NEVER seen him take a stance on any issue whether civil or social because all that he has ever been concerned about is his freakin' brand and robbin' boyz in the ghetto for sneakers. As an African-American he has an obligation to be a leader for change both on and off of the court because of his influence. Why? Because he's standin' on the shoulders of those that came before him. He's literally standin' on Ali's shoulders bruh! It's not often that black athletes possess the economic power that he did as a player and now as an owner. He's worth over a billion dollars and with that comes power and influence not just in the black community but all over the world.

Duns like Jim Brown, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Muhammad Ali put their careers on the line daily by supportin' the civil rights movement and other social issues in this country. People hated Ali until he was unable to speak, now he's a national hero. He stood up to the government in protest of the draft and the Vietnam war etc. Brown founded the Amer-I-can program in 1988 to help young African-American males transition out of the gang life and prisons in L.A. and Cleveland. Kareem was very active in the civil rights movement in the late 1960's.

Jordan was given the opportunity to make the impact that he has as a result of the efforts of the cats that came before him. So he's obligated to pull the next generation of not only black athletes up but all athletes because the American sports landscape is now so diverse.

Even these young thunder cats in today's game are steppin' up and at least speakin' out on the injustice in America. We've seen cats like D. Rose, LeBron, D. Wade, the five wide receivers from the St. Louis Rams with their hands up etc. wearin' hoodies and t-shirts "I Can't Breathe" in support of those that have died in these streets at the hands of the police or "so-called" police. We even saw Cardale Jones, a freakin' college quarterback, at the time, use his power of influence to at least make a statement about the injustice surroundin' the Sandra Bland foolishness. But for more than 34 years all we've EVER gotten from Jordan was a jumper, a slam dunk, a tongue wag and some darn shoes! And that's the edited version. And over the past 5 or 6 years he hasn't given a boy a new pair. He's got you duns so twisted that he keeps sellin' you the same joints and tellin' you it's a Retro IV, V or MXIII or whatever he thinks you'll stand in line for.

It's not just about playin' your particular sport and makin' money. It's about bein' an influence for change and helpin' our youth progress. On some real talk, our kids are sufferin' the most. I put Jordan in the same category as Michael Jackson when it comes to our community. Yeah, the King of Pop was a huge philanthropist around the world but he never gave two dead flies smashed about the "G" (Gary, In.).

I grew up just four blocks from 2300 Jackson Street playa. Mike traveled all over the world spreadin' hope and joy and never once spoke to kids from his own neighborhood or donated a dime to the schools or music departments at the crib. Mike was the biggest enterainer in the world and we NEVER layed eyes on that dun back in the hood. That's Jordan bruh!

Jim Brown has called both Jordan and Tiger out on several occasions because they continue to stick their heads in the sand on social issues. For those that don't understand why he needs to step his game up let me put it where the goats can get it. God doesn't bless you just for you. He gives you an abundance so that your overflow will spill over to help those that are standin' underneath you. All Jordan wanted to do is make money, play ball and sell shoes. So anything that would jeopardize that was and still is taboo to him. I’m not askin' for him to donate a million dollars. I’m askin' him to be seen and use his influence to encourage kids that look like him.

When these young cats are killin' each other over his shoes I would at least like to see him tell boyz that he doesn't condone that foolishness. I'd like to just see him act like he cares about what's goin' on in the hood.

I did a Hot Joint entitled “The Jordan Effect” on how Mike completely changed the sports marketin' game and how that has allowed other players to prosper off of the court. However, that doesn't do anything for the kids in the hood dreamin' of gettin' out. As products of the black community we all have an obligation to reach back and help or encourage others to become great and in my opinion Mike hasn't done that. And yes playboy, I'm in the hood at some school all of the time speakin' to the young homies and I'm nobody but a dun from the "G" that cares about kids that look like me. Mike's got all of the power and influence and all he's gonna do is sell them some freakin' shoes!

I’ve got the utmost respect for Oprah Winfrey because she put her entire career on the line in 2008 when she endorsed Barack Obama's Presidential Campaign. Regardless of how you may feel about Obama and his policies she endorsed him when that one move could've nose dived her career. She wasn’t ashamed to let the world know how strongly she felt about it either. That was a power move playboy. Magic Johnson even jumped out of the birthday cake and supported Hilary and regardless of how you felt about that he at least stuck his head out there. Where was Mike? I'll tell you where he was, playin' ostrich with his head in the sand next to Tiger.

And no! A boy doesn't have to tell me who he's votin' for durin' an election but he at least needs to have an opinion about something in this world. You can't tell me with all the stuff that has gone on in the world since 1984 that a GROWN "A" MAN has no opinion one way or another about ANYTHING! Stop it! You sound crazy! A man with no opinion is a man with no soul! And that's why I've got NO respect for Michael Jeffery Jordan! And don't look at me sideways playboy! I just had the nerve to say what you were thinkin'. Why? Because I don't care nothin' about Jordan dappin' me up when I see him and my career isn't dependent upon that dun likin' me. Stop me when I start lyin'!

The caption under the photo isn't real but its REAL talk!

The REAL reason Jordan is more MYTH than he is G.O.A.T.! "Brand"

"C'mon bruh! Why you pullin' numbers up?"
Ann Druyan, the well-known author, once said, "For most of the history of our species we were helpless to understand how nature works. We took every storm, drought, illness and comet personally. We created myths and spirits in an attempt to explain the patterns of nature." Ansel Adams, the photographer, gave it to us like this, "Myths and creeds are heroic struggles to comprehend the truth in the world." Then Hypatia, the ancient Greek mathematician, knocked a boy'z drink out of his hand when he spit, Fables should be taught as fables, myths as myths, and miracles as poetic fantasies. To teach superstitions as truths is a most terrible thing. The child mind accepts and believes them, and only through great pain and perhaps tragedy can he be in after years relieved of them."

Well playas...not only children but grown "A" men will experience great pain when I finish dispellin' all of the myths and fables boyz have been taught their entire lives about their beloved Michael Jordan! When you ask 10 different cats who the greatest quarterback of all-time is you'll probably get 10 different answers. You'll hear duns say Tom Brady, Joe Montana, Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Otto Graham, etc., etc., etc. If you ask those same cats who the best baseball player of all-time is you'll get 5 or 6  different answers. And guess what playa? They probably won't be wrong. But if you ask these same cats who the best basketball player of all-time is and a boy doesn't say Jordan in harmony! He's gettin' cursed out and his ghetto passed will be revoked on the spot!

Well let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Jordan is more myth than he is real bruh! Don't get it twisted for one minute, HE'S ONE OF THE GREATEST BASKETBALL PLAYERS OF ALL-TIME! But he ain't the BEST hands down!!!!! Why? Because the numbers don't support that foolishness!!! The more time that passes from Mike actually playin' and the more the Jordan Brand grows the more his legend grows.

He's like Big Foot, the Loch Ness Monster or the legend of Boggy Creek! Most young cats wearin' his shoes have heard about him but have never seen him. They're livin' off of highlights and wearin' his gear so that's good enough for them. You can't tell a boy that Mike wasn't the greatest to EVER lace them up right? Well let me put it where the goats can get it and that way we don't have any confusion once I'm done.

In order to be the hands down GREATEST player to EVER play the game you've got to be able to do it all right? Playin' basketball isn't like playin' football where each position is completely unique to other positions. The quarterback doesn't do a lot of the same things as a linebacker or guard. They do completely different things. That's why you can't ask the question, who's the greatest football player of all-time. It's strictly by position. However, hoop is different. The skills sets are interchangeable for the most part. Basketball players all shoot, rebound, share the ball and play defense right? So in order to be best the freakin' player of all-time you've gotta do all of that pretty much at the top of the list right?

Well let's check out ole Mike!! Jordan is the All-Time leader in average points per game at 30.12!!! And that's where this foolishness goes off of the freakin' rails bruh! He's not No.1 in ANY other category! In total points he's ranked 4th behind the scorin' leader Kareem by more than 6,000 points! In field goals he's ranked 4th with Kareem No.1! When we look at field goal percentage DeAndre Jordan is at the top of the list with Jordan sittin' at 115th playa!! Let's run over to 3 point shootin'! Ray Allen is the best with duns like Kobe at No.11, LeBron at No.30  and Mike isn't even in the top 200!! Stay with me bruh! Okay you duns want me to pull up 3 point shootin' percentage because maybe Mike is hidin' in the bushes somewhere. Well Steve Kerr is No.1 and Jordan ain't even in the top 250 chief!!!

Boyz are butt naked and foamin' at the mouth mad at me at this point but I'm not finished with this foolishness. Let's peel the onion back and see who shared the ball the best. John Stockton led the list with a dun named LeBron comin' in at 18th all-time! But Jordan wasn't even in the top 250!!! Do you know what they call duns below the 250 mark? The Black Hole bruh!! He's down there foolin' around with duns like Carmelo! Let's go to free throws! Karl Malone is No.1 and Jordan is No.5.

Okay let's check out what was happenin' on defense! John Stockton led the way with steals and Jordan came in at No.3! Good stuff right there playa. Hakeem Olajuwon was the No.1 cat in blocks and Mike came in at 106. These are the fact playboy! All accordin' to Basketball-Reference.com! I got boyz jawin' at me about Mike winnin' the Defensive Player of the Year and he only won it once bruh in 1988!!! Dikembe and Ben Wallace won it 4 times!!! Mike's got less than freakin' Kawhi Leonard who has 2!!! Stop it!!! You sound crazy! The numbers don't lie!

Don't get mad at me because I just told you that Santa ain't real, the tooth fairy is your old man and the the Easter Bunny is the old lady next door that pulls her teeth out to curse at the neighborhood kids for ridin' their bikes through her yard.
"Aight bruh! Chill out!"

Anytime you start whoofin' with boyz about Jordan the first thing they pull out of their underwear is "Mike's got 6 rings!!" Okay bruh, if that's your go to joint lets look at that foolishness too. If Mike's got 6 rings and we all know that to be a fact, even though a title is a TEAM award and not an individual joint. I'll still let you put that foolishness on the table. So with Mike havin' 6  he's still middle of the road in that category pimpin'. There are 9 other duns with more titles than he has.

Oh, so you want me to name these cats that you wanna act like don't exist? Here you go, Bill Russell 11, Sam Jones 10, Tom Heinson 8, K.C. Jones 8, Tom "Satch" Sanders 8, John Havlicek 7, Jim Loscutoff 7, Frank Ramsey 7, Robert Horrey 7! And please don't act like you didn't know that Kareem, Bob Cousy and Scottie Pippen all have 6 just like Jordan.

Even if you wanna start throwin' MVP's around which in my opinion don't count for jack squat because the dull fake media-types vote on this foolishness and Jordan really should have 10 of these joints. However, he doesn't and Kareem leads the way with 6 and both Mike and Bill Russell each own 5.

So how in THEE world can everybody and their baby's momma's momma, Ms. Jackson, jump out of the birthday cake and say that Michael Jeffery Jordan is hands down the GREATEST basketball player of All-Time when the numbers simply say otherwise. It ain't even close that he would be the greatest of All-Time! Boyz should at least be able to say multiple cat's names like they do when asked about quarterbacks and or baseball players etc.

Duns should be able to say, Wilt, Bill, Kobe, LeBron, etc. etc. without losin' their ghetto passes! Why? Because the myth is greater than the player. How can you be the greatest player to ever play the game when the numbers don't suggest that he is. I'm just sayin' and stop me when I start lyin'!

2) Dun: noun - the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It's whoever I'm talkin' about and its non-gender speicific.
3) Pimpin': noun - the person that I'm passionately tryin' to get my point across to.

How Jordan was noticeably absent from the Black Mamba video tributes bruh! "MIA"

"I still got love for you tho! You're foul but it's cool bruh!"
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness." Jane Austen, the English novelist, gave it to us like this, "Selfishness must always be forgiven you know, because there is no hope of a cure." Then John Bytheway, a professor at BYU,  broke it down like a playa at a pimp' convention wearin' some Detroit gators when he spit, "Our world is drowning in a sea of self-centeredness. You can make yourself quite unique right away by leaving this ocean of selfishness and choosing to be curious about other people."

Well playas...one of the greatest players to EVER lace them up played his final game on Wednesday night and boyz came out of the woodwork to holler at him. Before the Black Mamba took the floor for his last game in which he put up 60 on these boyz, I might add,  all kind of cats said "Wassup" and gave him love. However, the VERY cat that he patterned his game after was noticeably absent from the video tributes. Michael Jeffery Jordan was MIA like clockwork.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! When boyz were hollerin' at Kobe before the game, that's the VERY dun that I was lookin' for because the Mamba basically cloned his game after him! Heck, when the dun came into the league he was walkin' like him, talkin' like him and even chewing  gum like him. So why in THEE world wouldn't Jordan, at the very least, holler at a boy on his last night? Because like I've been tellin' you boyz for years, Mike is all about Mike ONLY!

He's about Jordan and Jordan only bruh! And please don't tell me that maybe they didn't holler Mike's way because Mike is Mike!!! He could walked in and taken over the mic if he wanted to. Stop it! You sound crazy!!!

Check this out playa, Lamar Odom was in a freakin' coma a few months ago and he got up, put his freakin' clothes on and hollered at a boy!

Here's my diehard defender of everything Jordan talkin' crazy butt naked foamin' at the mouth, "Man they only had former Lakers and teammates givin' video tributes. And plus, they probably didn't even holler at Mike because he's an owner now and they were only hollerin' at players."

What!!!? You sound like a fool bruh! Melo and KG didn't play with that dun!! And what does bein' an owner have to do with jack squat? And that's the edited version! For boyz to show up on a video tribute to one of the greatest players of all-time and for the very cat that he patterned his game after early on not to holler was a complete foul ball! No way around it. Stop makin' excuses for Jordan bein' Jordan.

If they were sellin' Jordan brand shoes or gear he would have been there with bells on. But since it was about somebody else he didn't have the time.

Congrats Mamba on a stellar career and please stop me when I start lyin'!
