Felonious Assault (Why the Pacers are stuffed in a used minivan with no GPS right now)

"Y'all makin' this way too easy bruh!"
As I was sitting at the light on my way to Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Monday these cats that were fixing the pot holes in the street started arguing about giving up. Thomas Edison said, “Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.” Marilyn vos Savant, the famous magazine columnist, put her shovel down and said, “Being defeated is often a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.” Then Patrick Swayze, the dirty dancer himself, stepped out into traffic with, “What winning is to me is not giving up. Is no matter what’s thrown at me, I can take it. And I can keep going.”

Well…the San Antonio Spurs threw the entire truck at the Indiana Pacers on Monday night and boyz had no other choice but to succumb 103-77. The Spurs pulled into the joint riding a 17 game winning streak moving 100mph with no headlights or brakes playboy. By the time they got out of town the Pacers were nothing more than road kill and ole Pop and Co. were sitting on 18 straight.

Tony Parker got out of the truck with a Ski mask on, carrying a huge gun and started robbing boyz of all jewelry and sneakers without saying a freakin’ word. The Pacers had no answer for that dun all night long as he got into them for 22 points like a street hustla in the Haughville. I thought I saw him run up in Long’s and hit them up for few dozen glazed and then over to the Sunset for a dance or two.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st playboy! It's three weeks before the playoffs start and the Pacers look like they're tied up in a Brooklyn basement. Catch that one on your drive to work today bruh. They got blasted at the crib by more than 20 points for the first time since January of 2010, shot 37 percent, failed to score a single point in transition and gave up the No. 1 seed to the duns on South Beach. That’s a problem pimpin’!

I’ve been telling you boyz all season long that it was gonna be virtually impossible to slay that Philistine because the Pacers turn the rock over way too much and Roy Hibbert is crazy inconsistent. Now these cats seem to be ridin’ around on four flat tires with the transmission sticking! At least Roy got out of the ride last night and gave them 15 points and 7 rebounds but he couldn’t talk the rest of the fellas into to gettin’ out.

Take that back, my guy Lance The Don Dada Mr. #BornReady himself gave boyz what he gives them EVERY night, 15 solids. Y’all can say what you want about that dun but he’s gonna show up every night. Now I know he and George Hill were about to scrap on a time out last night but that dun is in the building EVERY night good or bad. I know that he gets blamed for a lot of foolishness but he wasn’t out there by himself gettin’ worked over the past month or so.

You can’t put it on Lance that Paul George can’t stay focused on doing his freakin’ job with all of the off the court foolishness that he’s been in involved in that has obviously affected his play as of late. Lance hasn’t been locking Roy in the ride on most nights. It ain’t Lance that’s been keepin’ D. West and George Hill in single digits. It wasn’t Lance that held Luis Scola to 1-6 shooting and two points in 15 minutes, Evan Turner to zero points in 7 minutes or Ian Mahinmi to nothing in 11 against the Spurs.

Naw playboy, don’t put it on Lance because it’s easy to blame him. Put it on the entire minivan of duns ridin’ around lost right now. The GPS has gone out and boyz are down in Martinsville looking for a black barber shop or better yet a soul food kitchen called Big Momma’s!

Now somebody around here is delusional right now pimpin’ and it ain’t me! But every time you talk to Frank Vogel he’s trying to tell boyz that everything is cool, we’re playing basketball the right way etc. He even tried to convince us that they played good basketball on Sunday in Cleveland when they got the doors blown off ‘em. Excuse me playa, but Cleveland isn’t even gonna make the playoffs this year and you got physically assaulted by them and was left for dead.

On some real talk, Tony Parker was trying to hurry up and get out of town last night because he picked up several charges for beating the Pacers the way he did. IPD has him on everything from Simple Assault, Assault, Assault and Battery, Aggravated Assault and Felonious Assault. That dun was cursing boyz out in French headed to the airport quick, fast and in a hurry.

If the Pacers don’t figure it out like yesterday they could find themselves in trouble. The question is, can they pull a Patrick Swayze, take it and keep going? Or will they continue to implode with Vogel being in denial? I’m just sayin’! Stop me when I start lyin’!
