The Indiana Fever are like Be'be''s Kids because they don't die!

Jesse Owens once said, “We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams comes into reality it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self- discipline, and effort.” Og Mandino, the author of the “Greatest Salesman in the World,” huddled boyz up in a cypha and said, “Failure will never overtake me if my determination to succeed is strong enough.” Then Ralph Marston, the famous writer, broke it down like an O.G. at a hood cookout when he spit, “You’ve done it before and you can do it now. See the positive possibilities. Redirect the substantial energy of your frustration and turn it into positive, effective, unstoppable determination.”

Well playas…the Indiana Fever are like Be’be’’s kids! They don’t die they multiply! Whenever their backs are against the wall they come out swingin’ on a boy! On Sunday night at the crib once again in these playoffs they faced elimination. Once again they survived 75-69 to live another day! They’re 5-0 in elimination games this post-season bruh!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! With leaders like head coach Stephanie White and all everything 36 year old never die Tamika Catchings it’s hard to lose. The character of this team is remarkable and the fight is amazin’! Do you realize that every dun that played on Sunday night scored points except one? Wheredeydodatat?

After losin’ a heart breaker on Friday night in Game 3 at the buzzer these cats jumped in the old school big body Chevy and went huntin’! Shenise Johnson came out of the driver’s seat Sunday night bussin’ and hit boyz with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Marissa Coleman was dangerous out of the passenger seat with 14 while Briann January slid out of the back seat with 13-3-5. Tamika Catchings was solid out of the trunk on a boy with 10 and 4.

The difference in the street fight was Indiana’s ability to get to the free throw line! They were 25-29 from the stripe only allowin’ the Lynx to get there a total of 9 times in which they missed 3 of those joints. Briann January was only 1of 8 from the field but was a MONSTER from the foul line goin’ 11 of 12. A street fight is good but when a boy can get free licks it’s even better.

Now the Fever head back to Minnesota for yet another elimination game in these playoffs and if the history repeats itself they’ll be celebratin’ another WNBA Championship in a big body Chevy in the streets on Minneapolis! How Maya Moore and Co. came in like the Feds on the Fever!

"Don't eve trip bruh!"

James Thurber, well-known cartoonist and author, once said, "Sophistication might be described as the ability to cope gracefully with a situation involving the presence of a formidable menace to one’s poise and prestige (such as the butler, or the man under the bed – but never the husband).” Maxwell Maltz, the cosmetic surgeon, broke it down like this, “Man maintains his balance, poise, and sense of security only as he is moving forward.” Then the great Paul Brown spit some O.G. fire at a boy when he blessed the mic with, “The key to winning is poise under stress.”

Well playas…it doesn’t get any more stressful than Game 3 of the WNBA Finals especially when a boy is in foul trouble early and a possible championship hangs in the balance because 70 percent of the time the winner of Game 3 wins it all. Maya Moore had all of that on her shoulders as she remained as poised as a hustla in the projects in a big body chevy bumpin' that DJ Khaled joint "All I Do Is Win" joint! With the game tied at 77 with 1.7 seconds left, Moore knocked down a 3 at the buzzer to beat the Indiana Fever 80-77 to take a 2-1 lead in the series.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! This was probably one of the best WNBA Finals games in league history playboy! Talk about American Sniper or better yet, New Jack City! Duns had shooters on the roof like the Carter up in that piece. The Lynx shot 51 percent from the field and 53 percent from downtown bruh! To make matters more complicated the Fever fell off in the joint spottin’ a boy up at 50 percent from the field and 47 percent from behind the arc! It was NUTS!!!

Maya Moore had 24 points in 22 minutes bruh! Are you serious??!! Ole girl got into foul trouble early pickin’ up 3 fouls in the first half and havin’ to sit most of the joint. Then she picked up her fourth as soon as the third quarter started. However, her girls kicked in the door like the Feds in her absence. Seimone Augustus came through the front door with 13, Renee Montgomery hit the back door with 12, Silvia Fowles knocked a boy out with the batterin’ ram when they least expected it with 11! Then Ana Cuz waited for cats to try to climb out the window when she sprayed them with 10!

Even though Tamika Catchings struggled to get her shoes on in the raid she still managed get off 10. Shenise Johnson wasn’t givin’ up the weight that easy as she fired 17 back at a boy from behind the couch! Briann January came out of the closet bussin’ as she dropped 15 on the first cats to get in the front door. Marissa Coleman was BEAST with the weaponry as she hit a boy up for 14.

All the neighbors could do was sit in the front yard and watch the whole thing go down! It was some serious fire power in play because the Fever wasn't just gonna let a boy walk in and raid the joint without a fight! They've put in way too much work to just give it way. So if the Lynx thought that it was gonna be easy they know now. 

Look for the Fever to re-up on that "Blue Magic" and get back in the game real quick in Game 4 on Sunday night! Stop me when I start lyin'!

Well playas...Indiana Fever head coach Stephanie White was honest with a boy, had the character and integrity to stand behind her statements, the faith in her team to keep fightin' and the love and loyalty to stand up for her best player whether she gets fined or not! After a Game 2 loss in Minnesota she didn't pull any punches or bite her tongue on how she felt about Tamika Catchings gettin' into foul trouble early and havin' to play a limited 24 freakin' minutes on the road in the WNBA Finals. 

 

You would have thought that ole girl graduated magna cum laude from the "Jay Graves School of Keepin' it 100" by the way she went in at the post-game press conference. "This game was a bloodbath. I've never seen a player of Tamika Catchings' caliber get so disrespected in my life. And to me that's a travesty."

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! If nothin' else you've gotta respect her for sayin' what everybody watchin' the joint was feelin'! In a winnable game for the Fever they got hustled and everybody with eyes could see it and even duns like Stevie Wonder and Helen Keller were like, "You see that dawg? Boy that was obvious!" Now I know Stephanie can't say it but I can. The longer the series goes the more bread the league makes! The Fever would have loved to have come home to finish these cats off on Friday night.

No way does one of the best players to EVER play the game get disrespected in the FINALS like that. She's too experienced of a player in big moments to get into foul trouble playa. Fortunately, she's fired up now and that's the last thing a boy wants to do is get her riled up. They just shook the hornets nest and it's gonna be Chris Brown up in Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Friday night for Game 3. "On and Poppin'!" In my Bart Scott voice, "Can't wait!"
