How African-American women are runnin' things and NOT just at the Olympics! "Don't Sleep"

"Y'all can sleep on us if you want to bruh!" 

Franklin D. Roosevelt once said, "Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort." Napoleon Hill gave it to us like this, "The starting point of all achievement is desire." Then Helen Keller broke it down like a G at a hustlas convention when she spit, "Optimism is the faith that leads to achievement. Nothing can be done without hope and confidence." 

Well playas...it's looks like my young sistas are bringin' that same hope and confidence to the Olympics Games because they're ballin' out of control. Not only have we seen Simone Biles and Gabby Douglas gettin' busy winnin' Gold Medals. But as soon as they walked off of the podium Simone Manual blasted these boyz in the 100m freestyle. Then 24 hours later, Michelle Carter snatched up a gold in the shot put and we haven't even mentioned track and field or Serena.   

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Society tends to look at black women as an after thought and always givin' them the baby momma label but they are straight runnin' things out here bruh. Not only have they shown up at the Olympic Games takin' boyz lunch money. But they're killin' it in the classroom too. Accordin' the National Center for Education Statistics black women are now the most educated group in the United States!  WHAT!!!? Take that one and smoke it playboy! 

Let me put it where the goats can get it. By both race and gender there is a higher percentage of black women (9.7 percent) enrolled in college than any other group includin' Asian women (8.7 percent), white women (7.1 percent) and white men (6.1 percent), accordin' to the 2011 Census Bureau. You can keep lookin' at them sideways if you want to bruh but they're kickin' EVERYBODY'S butts out here. 

Check this out!  They earned 66 percent of bachelor’s degrees, 71 percent of master’s degrees, and 65 percent of all doctorate degrees awarded to African-American students in the United States between 2009 and 2010. If you don't believe me look it up. But you can keep doubtin' these women if you want to and get left in behind bruh! I'm not!! That's why I'm on a hustle EVERYDAY to be greater than I was the day before because was raised by one, I'm married to one and I'm the father of one that aspires to become a lawyer! So I've got no choice but to be great!!! 

In order to be great you've first got to surround yourself with folks that ARE great and that includes the most educated group in the United States! That's black women gettin' degrees or Gold Medals or both if you're lucky! Stop me when I start lyin!
