Why Jaylon Smith is NOW the poster child for not playin' in meaningless bowl games! "Why"

"You believe this foolishness bruh?"
Walter Kirn, the novelist, once said, "Uncertainty doesn't make life worth living, quite, but it does make striving and gambling worth attempting." Jennifer Aniston gave it to us like this, "Oh, it's not really gambling when you never lose." Then Hunter S. Thompson, the journalist and author, knocked a boy'z old school 40 ounce out of his hand when he spit, "Gambling can turn into a dangerous two-way street when you least expect it. Weird things happen suddenly, and your life can go all to pieces."

Well playas...that's exactly what happened to Jaylon Smith in the Fiesta Bowl this past January! Potentially the No.1 overall pick in the upcomin' NFL draft suffered a severe knee injury in a game that meant absolutely nothin'! After havin' reconstructive surgery he's still sufferin' from nerve damage and boyz don't know if he'll ever fully recover. So on Thursday cats don't know if or when he'll be drafted. Some reports say he'll go the second round and then some cats are sayin' that he may not even be drafted. I doubt that very seriously but I know that he won't be the first dun off of the board.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Jaylon Smith had no idea that he'd be injured in a game that meant nothin'! So I'm not mad at him for playin' in it. However, any cat that's a potential first round pick goin' forward that suits up to play in a non-playoff bowl game or the National Championship is crazy!

Bowl games means ABSOLUTELY nothin' to a dun that is about to be a first round draft pick bruh. Sure, it's additional practice for the underclassmen comin' back next year but it's a freakin' waste of time for the dun leavin' for the NFL and especially a potential first rounder. He's got nothin' to gain and EVERYTHING to lose. Notre Dame made crazy money for playin' in that bowl game and Jaylon Smith could have potentially lost everything from a football standpoint. I'm just sayin'!

So why on earth would a boy risk playin' goin' forward if he sees Jaylon Smith fall down the draft board on Thursday? Will somebody, anybody answer that question for me?

It's like boyz linin' up to play in the freakin' Olympics. If you are an established superstar in the NBA you've got to be a complete fool to play in Rio this summer. Why? USA Basketball isn't payin' you to put your body at risk. Paul George would be the biggest maniac ever to go back out there. And Steph Curry would be the 2nd biggest. Why? Because they don't need the exposure or the branding. So why do it? It makes no sense!!!! And you can throw that patriotism foolishness out of the window bruh. Pay those dudes or get college players to take the risk because they need the exposure.

Again, Jaylon Smith didn't see it comin' so you can't fault the kid for playin' in the Fiesta Bowl. But if you're an agent, a parent or just somebody's homeboy. Tell that dun not to play in a bowl game that means nothin' if they are a potential first round draft pick.

What can the university do about it bruh? Kick the dun off of the team? Take his scholarship? They can't do a thing about it because he's done with them anyway. Screw the fan base because they aren't gonna pay the kid the difference in bread he can lose gettin' hurt. So what they think of you is irrelevant. In my "Hustle and Flow" DJay voice, "Get yo money mane!!!"

Here's the sucka fan talkin' out the side of his neck like Larry Blackman from Cameo, "He could have gotten hurt at anytime!" He sure could have playa but he didn't! He got hurt playin' in a game that meant nothin' to him. Winnin' or losin' the Fiesta Bowl wasn't goin' to change a darn thing for him. It only changed the bank account of Notre Dame by several million dollars.

Usin' last years numbers for the No.1 overall draft pick which was Jameis Winston, Jaylon Smith is losin' a salary of $22M with a $14M signin' bonus. In the NFL the only thing that is guaranteed is the signin' bonus bruh. So if nothin' else ole boy has potentially lost $14M in guaranteed bread foolin' around with Notre Dame and the darn Fiesta Bowl. That's why ANYBODY lookin' at this situation shouldn't play in a non-playoff bowl game EVER again.

Let me put it where the goats can get it. The university has already used a boy up. So once he secures a reputation and knows that he's a potential first round draft pick it's time to throw those two fingers up when the regular season is over. That's real talk playa and I don't EVER wanna see another story like Jaylon Smith because you've already seen this movie. Stop me when I start lyin'!

Playas Thesaurus:
1) Spit: verb - to say
2) Dun: noun - the person in question, dude. guy, etc. It's whoever I'm talkin' about and its non-gender specific.
3) Put it where the goats can get it: verb phrase - to break it down to it's simplest form, to put it on the ground, to make it elementary.
