How the Mizzou football team just proved to us why they AREN'T a REALT.E.A.M.! "All or Nothin'"

"We're out bruh!" 

Napoleon Hill, the well-known author in personal success literature, once said, "Great achievement is usually born of great sacrifice, and is never the result of selfishness." A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, the 11th president of India, broke it down like this, "Let us sacrifice our today so that our children can have a better tomorrow." Then the great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. shut the buildin' down when he spit, "Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals." 

Well playas...some of the black football players at the University of Missouri are steppin' towards the goal of justice by decidin' to stop participatin' in all football activities until the university system president Tom Wolfe resigns. The announcement came via Twitter on Saturday night from Missouri's "Legion of Black Collegians." These cats are upset with the way the president has handled or in essence not handled several recent racial incidents that have occurred on campus.  

The tweet said and was accompanied by a photo of 32 brothers, "The athletes of color on the University of Missouri football team truly believe 'Injustice Anywhere is a threat to Justice Everywhere. We will no longer participate in any football related activities until President Tim Wolfe resigns or is removed due to his negligence toward marginalized students' experiences. WE ARE UNITED!!!!!"

Well let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I applaud the young brothers for bringin' attention to the foolishness that is occurrin' at Mizzou! Racism is an ugly part of American culture that continues to be a black eye in this society. So to bring attention to it to help stamp it out is always a great thing. However, before you can make a difference with a protest playa EVERYBODY has to be on the same page! 

The last line of the Tweet reads, "WE ARE UNITED!!!!" But it's only 32 duns on the freakin' picture! There are more than 32 cats on the football team bruh! It's probably more than 32 brothers on the football team at North Dakota State!!! So in order to be united you've got to at least have the commitment of ALL the brothers on the team before you pull a stunt like that. And on some real talk, if the WHOLE team of both black and white players aren't in agreement then you've created a bigger problem in that locker room.  

The word of God says in 2 Samuel 24:24, "But the king said to Araunah, “No, but I will buy it from you for a price. I will not offer burnt offerings to the Lord my God that cost me nothing.” In other words it ain't a sacrifice if you aren't losin' anything playa. Mizzou is 4-5 on the year! They're losin' anyway! So would these cats be pullin' this stunt if they were 8-1 or competin' for the SEC East title with a trip to Atlanta on the line? C'mon bruh! You can't hustle a hustla! There is not sacrifice in what you're doin'!!!!

If the ENTIRE TEAM isn't in agreement or at the very least ALL OF THE BROTHERS on the freakin' team aren't in you're out of line by even attemptin' this type of protest. Remember when the Miami Heat put on the hoodies in protest to George Zimmerman not initially bein' arrested after the killing of Treyvon Martin? It wasn't just the brothers on the team that participated! The ENTIRE team put on the hoodies! Remember when the foolishness jumped off at Oklahoma last year with the fraternity actin' a fool? The ENTIRE OU football protested not just the brothers! Those TEAMS are successful because EVERYBODY is on the SAME page! Not just 32 cats out of 100 plus. 

There are other ways to protest the president's handlin' of this situation. But to quit because you're already gettin' blasted is unacceptable.  And again, I'm not sayin' that you shouldn't be pissed that the university isn't doin' it's due diligence in gettin' to the bottom of this foolishness. I'm just sayin' that you can't make a statement with only a few cats bein' on board because it further suggests that the T.E.A.M. isn't REAL a T.E.A.M. and that's why you're 4-5 right now! Stop me when I start lyin'!
