O.G. (Why you can tell Roy Hibbert has finally gotten a hold of somethin')

Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.”

Well playboys…it looks like ole Roy Hibbert has finally decided to put on his manhood and the play the brand of basketball that his DNA says that he can. It’s all about the attitude that you bring to work and he’s simply adjusted his over the past few games. On Monday night he went into Utah like O.G. Bobby Johnson and led the Pacers to a 105-101 victory.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! Roy has the ability to play this game but that dun gets caught up in the back seat of the ride listenin’ to Luther and eatin’ Skittles and cornbread 85 percent of the time bruh. He’s 7’2” 290lbs. and should be goin’ to work on boyz every night. On some real talk, ole boy should be a solid 10 and 8 EVERY night! Even on the nights when his girl is trippin’!

Ladies don’t get offended, you know y’all can trip on a boy on G.P. and mess our heads up on the way to work. Then have a boy messed up callin’ you on every break tryin’ to make right what we didn’t mess up in the first place. Why because you have all of the power ! Now if I’ve got to explain that then one of us is trippin’ and it ain’t me.

On a decent night Roy should be a 15 and 10 type of cat just gettin’ out of bed! Here’s my Hibbert apologist wearin’ a freakin’ No.55 jersey eatin’ Skittles! “Man what are you talkin’ about Jay? At least 10 rebounds a night? Are you kiddin’ me?” Look here dawg, the freakin’ ball is gonna bump into him first comin’ off of the rim. It’s gonna hit him in the face because he’s taller than everybody on the floor 99 percent of the time. So I’m bein’ generous with the 10! All he’s gotta do is get to the bucket and at 290 that should be easy.

Well on Monday night he showed up lookin’ like, the old playas in the barber shop used to say, “He's finally gotten a hold of something playa.” Why? Because he had all of the attitude in the world and put up 22 and 8 on a boy. Whatttt? Roy? Then I look up and he’s about to squab with a cat and is even pointin’ in ole boy’s face.

Now for all of you suburban type cats and rural duns out there, pointin’ in a man’s face in the ghetto is like tellin’ him that his momma wears combat boots, drives a dump truck with musty arm pit hair, chews tobacco and gets around the hood and I don’t mean walkin’. In other words, he was darin’ a boy to step his way! Roy? Naw bruh! Keep in mind that he got into it with Boozer in LA on Sunday. Yeah he got a hold of somethin’ playa! And whatever that somethin’ is he needs to keep it close to him pimpin’ because the Pacers are goin’ to need that if they’ve got any shot of makin’ it to the playoffs.

With Hibbert leadin’ the way the Pacers had 6 cats finish in double figures. Luis Scola popped the Jazz for 16 while both C.J. Miles and Rodney Stuckey hit ‘em up for 13 apiece. Solomon Hill dropped off 11 and David West threw 10 in the hat for the last run to the “L” which they turned into a “W.” Only my real O.G.’s will pick that one up playboy.

Hey Roy, boyz are gonna need that type of attitude goin’ forward bruh. No ifs, ands or buts about it! We’ve officially taken the back seat out of the ride and discontinued the sale of Skittles and cornbread. . So you’ve got to show up EVERY night from now on. In my dad’s very intimidating voice, “You done messed up and showed me what you can do now! So I’m expectin’ that from now on and if I don’t get it I’m gettin’ in yo butt!” And that’s the edited version! Up next Golden State and stop me when I start lyin’!
