A lil' Somethin' (How Roy needs to keep bumpin' into whatever he keeps gettin' into)

"I'm up now bruh! Well..today I'm am!

Joshua Waitzkin, the famous chess player, once said, “The moment we believe that success is determined by an ingrained level of ability as opposed to resilience and hard work, we will be brittle in the face of adversity.” Gever Tulley, the writer and computer scientist, shook things up with, “Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work through difficult problems.” Then Noami Wolf, the author and political consultant, brought the heat when she spit, “Obstacles, of course, are developmentally necessary: they teach kids strategy, patience critical thinking, resilience and resourcefulness.”

Well playa…it’s just not limited to kids! The Indiana Pacers have learned those same things from all of the obstacles they’ve been hit with durin’ the course of this season. They call those joints the injury bug around this piece. However, on Friday night they with George Hill and obviously Paul George coolin’ out in street clothes they were able to overcome enough obstacles to beat the Boston Celtics in overtime 103-107 in overtime.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! Everybody and their momma’s momma wanted to know if ole Roy Hibbert was gonna get out of the ride. Will he pull up with the team, get out of the joint or sit comfortably in the back seat and eat Skittles and cornbread while listenin’ to some Luther with his feel hangin’ out of the window?

Great minds wanted know because on Monday night in Utah he played like a man on a mission or a dun that finally got a hold of somethin’ as he dropped 22-8 on a boy. Then he went down early with an ankle sprain in Oakland and hung out with Too Short and E-40 for the rest of the night. What that means is that all of the REAL G’s gave him a pass for bein’ snake bitten. So when they got to the crib boyz were waitin’ to see if the G would show up or not!

Well ole boy answered that question as soon as they tipped. By the end of the first quarter not only was Roy out of the ride but he was pushin’ the joint up-hill with 11 points. He finished with 19, 11 rebounds and 5 blocks bruh! Whatever that dun is gettin’ into he needs to keep bumpin’ into it, literally!

For like the third game in a row the Pacers have had six cats in double figures. C.J. Miles is keepin’ that jumper wet as he shot 50 percent from downtown on a boy to leave a 17 point bad taste in the Celtics mouth. C.J. Watson popped ‘em for 15 and 8 while Chris Copeland kept boyz honest with 14. D. West struggled from the field only goin’ 3-11 as he dealt with an injured hand. However, he still managed to drop 5-6 from the foul line to keep the surgin’ Celtics at bay to finish with 11 points and 6 rebounds. Donald Sloan keeps comin’ off of the bench lookin’ as smooth as Dolomite runnin’ the point as he threw 10 in the kitty.

I keep tellin’ you boyz not to count these cats out because they can go 9 or 10 deep and Frank is coachin’ his butt off. And that’s the edited version. The record of 15-23 is deceivin’ and if you fall asleep at the wheel on these cats you’ll end up carjacked out in front of Long’s Donuts tryin’ to get home.

Now they’ve got four winnable games comin’ up as they go to Philly tonight, back to the crib for ole dull Minnesota on Tuesday, Detroit on Friday and Charlotte next Saturday. Well…ask Detroit to go get Josh Smith back from Houston for next Friday only because they can’t win with that dun. They’re a completely different team without him. So that one may not be as easy of a game but if Roy keeps gettin’ into whatever he’s gettin’ into they’ll be alright. Stop me when I start lyin’!
