Talkin' Crazy (Why boyz needed to stop listenin' to Charles Barkley 20years ago)

 "Man I've never made any sense but y'all keep listenin' to me!"

Bill Cosby once said, “A word to the wise ain’t necessary – it’s the stupid ones that need the advice.” Elon Musk, the famous inventor, gave it to us like this, “I think it’s very important to have a feedback loop, where you’re constantly thinking about what you’ve done and how you could be doing it better. I think that’s the single best piece of advice: constantly think about how you could be doing things better and questioning yourself.” Then Agatha Christie, the famous crime novelist, shut the building down with, “Good advice is always certain to be ignored, but that’s no reason not to give it.”

Well playboy..if you’re a sports fan and you have a tendency to believe every word that a boy says just because he’s a Hall of Famer, then you’re in trouble! Especially, if you’re listenin’ to the logic of Charles Barkley on anything outside of the lines of the game of basketball. I’m so tired of boyz stickin’ a microphone in his face and askin’ him to speak on issues of race when ninety percent of the time he doesn’t have a clue of what’s goin’ on. It’s like he’s seen bits and pieces of the story and then he just starts talkin’ crazy.

When asked about the Russell Wilson situation and boyz sayin’ that he was “Too close to management” and "not black enough." He went in without understandin’ what was really goin’ on. All he heard was “Not black enough” and this dun dove into the freakin’ pool head first.

He says, “There are a lot of black people who are unintelligent, who don’t have success. It’s best to knock a successful black person down cause they’re intelligent, they speak well, they do well in school, and they’re successful. It’s crabs in a barrel…We’re the only ethnic group that says, ‘hey if you go to jail, it gives you street cred.’”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! That would be great if we were talkin' about some cats sittin' in the ghetto but none of that pertained to the Seattle Seahawks locker room playboy. Boyz were sayin’ that Russell Wilson was too close to management because he knew about the impendin’ Percy Harvin trade for a month and didn’t tell anybody about it. He’s the dun that can’t be trusted. He’s the old school “House Slave” as I explained to boyz in the Hot Joint entitled “Housey vs. Field” a few days ago.

They were simply sayin’ that ole Russ can’t be trusted in that locker room and with real cats loyalty is everything. So therefore, he's too close to management.

Charles is doin’ Charles again without understandin’ the context by which boyz were talkin’. We’re not dealin’ with a bunch of cats hatin’ on some kid in the projects because he makes good grades and speaks well bruh. Everybody in that locker room is rich relatively speakin’ and EVERYBODY in the freakin’ room has been to college. Some of them have degrees from far more prestigious universities than Russell Wilson’s NC State playboy and yes I realize that he went to the University of Wisconsin for his final year too.

Did you forget that Richard Sherman went to Stanford and graduated in three years and speaks as eloquently as ole Russ? Did you not know that Doug Baldwin went to Stanford too. I guess you totally forgot that Marshawn Lynch went to Cal along with Brandon Mebane huh? But everybody in that locker went to college bruh. So who would be jealous of Russell Wilson for goin’ to college too? I’m just sayin’.

They can’t be jealous of his pay check Chuck, because he’s one of the lowest paid starters on the team because he’s still on his rookie contract that he signed as a third round pick in 2012. Do really think that a first round boy is trippin’ on Russell Wilson’s pay check? He’s only makin’ $817K this year. Who’s hatin’ on him? But that’s Chuck for you playa, just talkin’ crazy and boyz keep listenin' to him!

He’s the same dun that told the world that’s its normal in the black community in the south to beat your kids with a switch when Adrian Peterson beat the brakes off of his kid. He just started tryin’ to educate white folks on what black folks do without understandin’ that Adrian did more than just discipline his kid. What he did wasn’t just a spankin’ it was abuse in every sense of the word but let Chuck tell it, it was normal. Why? Because he hadn't seen the pictures of the kid before he opened his mouth. Oh yeah, that's Chuck talkin’ crazy again!

He’s the same cat that more than twenty years ago told the world that athletes shouldn’t be role models to kids. He said that their parents should be their role models. Boyz needed to stop listenin' to that dun right then and there but boyz kept on.

It sounded good in theory so everybody ran with it. However, it made absolutely no sense at all. First of all, just about every little boy in America thinks that he’s gonna be a pro athlete when he’s young or at least until he figures out that he doesn’t have the DNA etc. to play at that level. Therefore, you become a role model by default bruh because you’re these kids hero whether you like it or not. And secondly, what happens with the kid that doesn’t have any parents? What if the kid’s daddy is in jail and his momma’s cracked out? Is he just out of luck?

Isn't this the same dun that when he was in the league boyz would cringe every time they put a mic in his face because he was bound to say something ignorant? Isn't he the same cat that was pulled over for drunk drivin' that told the cops that he was tryin' to get back over this broad's crib because she gave the best "mental stimulation?" Isn't this the same dun that threw an entire human being through a plate glass window? And now we're listenin' to him on issues of race and culture bruh?

Here’s the danger in boyz listenin’ to Chuck. There are a lot a white folks in the world that have never had any types of relationships with black folks and they know nothin’ about them except for what some idiot tells them. So if some fool like Rush Limbaugh tells them that all black folks are lazy and shiftless and then a prominent black sports figure co-signs that thinking, what are they supposed to believe? It's simply untrue bruh! 

It's like sayin' that white folks in rural America live in trailer parks and are hooked on methamphetamines or that black folks live in the ghetto and smoke crack. That's called a fallacy playboy. For all of you simple minded individuals, that means that something is true but not necessarily true. Therefore, to make those statements would be ignorant and irresponsible. So you can't make a blanket statement about black folks holdin' themselves down when you know that there are others at play.

Well...maybe he wouldn't know that because he's never had a real job in his freakin' life. When you've been blessed with the DNA to play in the NBA and have become a Hall of Famer you wouldn't understand the struggle of havin' to compete in the real work force now would you? 

Since his retirement from the game he's gotten every job he's ever had on the strength of his basketball reputation bruh. And let's keep it real playa, it's to your advantage to be black if you're a basketball player because more than 70 percent of the league is black. So what would Chuck really know about competin' in the real world? That’s my problem with this dun talkin’ crazy.

Sure, they are people within the black community that are crabs. However, there are people in all communities that are crabs. This isn’t just exclusive to black folks bruh. All I ask Chuck, is that you figure out what’s really goin’ on before you jump on somebody's radio or TV show and make all black folks look ignorant. Your words have more power than you actually believe that they do. At least do your homework or have a boy brief you before you open your freakin’ mouth. Stop me when I start lyin’!
