EXPOSED!

"I gotta get to the rack!"

Ya'll know how I do! I normally sit in the cut and wait to see what the response is going to be before I give my commentary. On Sunday the Knicks upset the Bulls at Madison Square Garden. Now the fact that the Knicks won isn't such a big deal because it's the NBA and on any given night a team can lose. However, the way the Bulls lost was the story. Derrick Rose missed two free throws and two game winning shots in the closing seconds of both regulation and overtime. He put up an AIR BALL at the buzzer in overtime and 24 hours later everybody acts like it didn't happen.

Now I realize that D. Rose has missed 12 straight games and still put up 28 points in his debut. I get all of that but I've been saying for the past 3 years that he can't shoot. Even with the 28 points put up he proved my point once again that he can't shoot. Bulls/Derrick Rose fans are like Cubs fans! Straight delusional!

If that had been LeBron putting up an AIR BALL to close a game out they would have destroyed him in the media, social media and in every barbershop in every hood in America! However, because it's the beloved non-shooting Derrick Rose he gets a pass. #Wheredeydodatat!

I hear boyz say all of the time saying, "How can Derrick Rose win the MVP last year and not be able to shoot? How can he put up 23 points per game and not be able to shoot? How can he be the best player on the team and not be able to shoot?" Yes he's averaging 23 points per game and there are nights that he'll put up 32 points but 90% of the buckets he makes are in the paint. His first step is deadly! He's as quick as a cat and he's never had to shoot to be effective during the regular season.

If he isn't penetrating to the basket he's ineffective bruh! He's got a janky floater that he puts up but he has to be close to the bucket in order for it to go in. So on this past Sunday when the game was on the line with 14 seconds left and he didn't immediately drive to the bucket I walked out of the room. Because I knew that he wasn't capable of making that shot from more than 15 to 17 feet out. Why? Because he can't shoot!

The NBA season is so busy that teams don't have time to put a game plan together against their opponents for every game. This isn't football where boyz get all week to prepare and watch film. Yeah they know certain tendencies etc. but it isn't until the playoffs that teams really get to zone in on their opponents. The formula to stopping Derrick Rose is to keep him from penetrating. The same Pacers team that barely made the playoffs figured it out last year and almost beat the Bulls but they didn't have the personnel to get it done.

However, the Heat watched the same tape and put 6'8" 260lb athletic LeBron on him and that kept him from penetrating forcing Rose to shoot and they got blasted 4-1 real quick! It's OK Bulls fans Michael Jordan couldn't shoot nor could he go to his left during his first 3 years in the league. I know all my young cats out there can't believe it but it's true! Jordan put in mad work during the off-seasons and eventually became deadly from outside. The question is, will Rose step his game up like Jordan did in the long run. As for now, this years playoff run will end the same way.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, which ever comes first! How valuable is he to the Bulls if when he goes down they don't miss a beat? During his absence they where just as effective without him. The best point guard in the league is Rajon Rondo bruh! He's a walking double double averaging 12 pts. and 11 assts. a night.  Now Chris Paul is hot too but he doesn't get you a double double every time he suits up. Deron Williams isn't a true point, he's a scorer like Rose but the only difference is that D. Will can shoot the lights out of the joint and he's 6'4".  I'm just sayin'! Derrick Rose, in my opinion, is OVERRATED and since nobody has the guts to say it I will!

 The Knicks visit the Bulls tonight. I want you to pay attention to where he picks up his points. Hopefully he'll play because I'm hearing he's a game time decision now because he's suffered an ankle injury.  Then look in the mirror and try to convince yourself that he'll be able carry the Bulls to the Finals with that janky floater! Don't get me wrong, he's a human highlight reel but his game is limited and in the playoffs he'll be exposed again.  Good luck with that bruh!

My point is simply this, if it were LeBron you'd be destroying him right now!
