The Gun Slingas (The Top 5 Quarterbacks All-Time)

"Marino was probably the most talented quarterback ever but couldn't win the big one!"
The quarterback position is the most important on the field. This dun has the ball in his hand on every play. Now on all of my other top 5 lists I haven't looked at stats because you can typically eye ball a cat and know whether or not he can play. However, with this position wins and titles make a huge difference because if you're the team leader it's gotta be about how well you were able to lead. So wins and titles make a huge difference in this category.

If you're lookin' for Dan Marino you won't find him on my list playa. He was probably the most talented quarterback to ever play the game but he couldn't lead his team to a title and like I've said on my other lists, who do I take off to put him on? This is the top 5 at playin' the postion not the top 5 at throwin' the football there is a difference.  The quarterback position is not about talent but about leadership and makin' everyone else good enough to win. I know that you duns are going to argue all day about who should be on this list. So here we go:

1. Otto Graham

Selected to 5 Pro Bowls and was a two-time NFL MVP. He played his entire career with Cleveland.
Graham led the Browns to 7 championships in his first 10 years, and only lost 13 games throughout his career.* On that fact alone he's the best "Quarterback to ever play the game because he lead his team to a championship 70% of the time he booted up.Otto was 57-13-1 record as a starter in the NFL and that represents the highest winning percentage of any quarterback (.810) all-time.

2.Joe Montana

Won four Super Bowls (XVI, XIX, XXIII, XXIV), an eight-time Pro Bowler, a two-time NFL MVP, and a three-time Super Bowl MVP and is on several of the NFL's all time records lists.
He and Jerry Rice are currently second on the all time list for touchdowns from quarterback to receiver, only behind Peyton Manning and Marvin Harrison. I will say this, Joe played with arguably the best receiver to ever play the freakin' game and he played for the inventor of the spread offense, Bill Walsh, 20 years before anybody else did it. So it was more the system and Jerry than ole Joe. But he did take advantage of the opportunity and won games and titles.

3. Tom Brady

Tom hit the New England scene in 2001, fillin' in for the injured Bledsoe. Tom would lead the Pats on to their first of three Super Bowl championships. He has the NFL record for Most Touchdowns in a Season with 50 and most touchdowns in a quarter with 5. Led the Pats to a 16-0 season in 2007 and made the Super Bowl, but lost to the N.Y. Giants. Five-time Pro Bowler, an NFL MVP and a two-time Super Bowl MVP.

4. Peyton Manning

Manning has kicked the label of "The next Dan Marino" by winning the Super Bowl in Feb. 2007.
Manning is a 12-time Pro Bowler, has an NFL record four NFL MVP awards, a Super Bowl MVP, and is the youngest player to reach 50,000 and 60,000 passing yards, 400 touchdown passes and is 2nd on the all-time wins list behind Brett Favre.

5. Bret Favre

For the record I can't stand this cat because I think he was the most selfish player I've ever seen but this ain't about how I feel pimpin'. I can't hate on what he was able to accomplish on the field. He holds just about every major passing record in NFL history. He's currently No. 1 in passing yards, touchdowns, wins, and of course interceptions. Favre is an 11-timer Pro Bowler, a three-time NFL MVP, a Super Bowl Champion, and a five-time NFC Player of the Year. He will forever be immortalized in football history as one of the best to ever play the game. I am sure they already have a nice area in Canton picked out for his bust to go in about five or six years.

Cover Island (The Top 5 Corners of All-Time)

The Oakland Raider's Willie Brown

The Corner-back position is reserved for the best athletes on the field playboy because they're sittin' out there on an island and there's no hidin'! These are the duns that can't afford to get caught sleepin'. Let's take a look at the best to play this coveted position!

This ain't the quarterbacks so I don't need to look at stats to see who was the best at this position. You can eyeball these duns and get it right. That's if you know the game of football. This ain't baseball which is essentially an individual sport played with other guys on the field at the same time. If you're battin' it's completely up to you to hit the ball. If you're on base, it's completely up to you to steal a base etc. The game of football is the ultimate team sport. So therefore, your success in terms of the team is always contingent upon what your teammates do or don't do. So that's why I didn't look at wins/losses/Super Bowls etc.. The ultimate question is, can you play playa?

1. Deion Sanders

"Prime Time"
No question that Deion was the best to ever do it because of not only his ability to shut half of the joint down but because he dared quarterbacks to throw his way. He was definitely goin' to take it the distance whenever he got hold to the ball.  Like I've said before nobody brought more swagger to the game of football than "Prime Time". When you look up the definition of corner Deion's picture comes up.

2. Rod Woodson

"Could do everything!"
Probably the most athletic guy I've ever seen. Wasn't known for his ability to hit but he wasn't paid to hit. He was paid to cover and that he did. No question "Woody" belongs in this group.

3. Ronnie Lott

"The Hitter"
The hardest hitting corner of all-time! This guy was way before his time when it came to playin' the position. He was always goin' to let guys know that he was on the field by bringin' the thunder on every play. By the way: Ronnie Lott was a Pro Bowler at both corner and safety positions playboy! So don't holla my way that Ronnie wasn't a corner pimpin' because I know who played where. Look him up! And guess what bruh? When I put my Safety list out Ronnie will be at the top of that joint.

4. Darrell Green

 "Ageless Wonder"
He was deadly in one on one coverage because of his remarkable speed. Retired and at 50 years old he still ran a 4.3 forty. Boyz couldn't escape him.

5. Champ Bailey

"Mr. Half Of The Field"

This cat was incredible to watch. He would literally shut down half of the field and had unbelievable technique at the corner position. Ball skills were ridiculous! No one could turn their hips better and more smoothly than Champ.

I know there are a lot of old timers are wonderin' why duns like Willie Brown, Mike Haynes and Mel Blunt didn't make the list. There is definitely a case for Charles Woodson as well because of his athletic ability and ball skills. Can't put Darrelle Revis on there because he was only great for a season and a half then he got hurt and hasn't been the same cat since. Gotta put in work for longer than that bruh!

Again, my favorite question is, "Who am I goin' to take off of the list to put them on?" That's not to say those guys weren't incredible corners but it's only a list of five. That's my list you playa, what's yours?

Eyeballs, Hands & Feet (The Top 5 Wide Receivers of All-Time)

1. Jerry Rice

"The best ever!"

2. Randy Moss

"The Gazelle"

3. Michael Irvin
"The Playmaker"

4. Chris Carter

"Mr. Work"

5. Terrell Owens

"The Diva"

Since football season is sittin' in our laps playboy, let's start arguin' about it like real playas do. Let's go to the barbershop deep in the hood on this one. I mean this is one of those that the dun has to turn off his clippers and get loud on. You know how it goes in the shop on Saturday mornings? Heck this one might run through the week pimpin! Bring your A game or get blasted. Well... I brought my A, B & C game today on this one. That means that most of the cats in the shop will say, "Can't really argue with you on that one. You pretty much got it bruh.”

Now if you know anythin' about this unbelievable game we call football you're pretty much shakin' your head in agreement as well. I don't need to put stats on the table when we're talkin' about the best to ever play the game. We don't need to compare Super Bowl rings or wins verses losses etc. because it’s the ultimate team sport and one person can‘t effect the outcome of the games as easily like a boy can in basketball.

LeBron goes to Cleveland and they go from bein' the worse freakin' team in the league to a title contender over night! Naw playboy! This is FOOTBALL and one dun don't make a party.

In the game of football all you need is the eyeball test. Can a boy get down or what? This ain't baseball where they compare records from hits, stolen bases, RBI's, or homeruns etc. Naw playa, can the dun play the position that he's been assigned to play? I don't need to look at how many touchdowns he had or how many yards he piled up. Naw…just put on the film cuz the film don't lie!

In this case I just needed to look at his ability to run routs, catch the ball and most importantly do somethin' with it after the catch. It's called havin' eyeballs, hands and feet playboy! Typically, those that have all of those had the stats to go along with it. People that don't know the game have to look at stats first to determine if Jerry Rice sits at the top of the leader board. Naw pimp...just look at him!

I could look at the way he put on his uniform that he was the best to ever play the position. It's that easy bruh. Don't quote stats to me. If you don't think that Randy Moss wasn't the most freakish cat to ever catch the ball you need to start watchin' the other football (soccer) and leave this game to folks that know what they're lookin' at.

"Not a chance Marvin!"
For example, the people that think I’m crazy for not includin' Marvin Harrison on this list should become soccer fans today. Then I won't hold it against you and we could still be cool. Marvin was the recipient of playin' with one of the most talented and definitely the most intelligent quarterbacks to ever play the game in Peyton Manning.

Marvin did absolutely nothin' but catch the football. He showed up in the spot that he was told to be and waited on the football and fell down. Very little yards after catch for this guy. Again, I don't need to see stats to now that. The eye ball test says that he wasn't more gifted than the duns that I've got on the list. Harrison was just blessed to play in an ideal system and with one of the best quarterbacks to ever play the game. And the most important question of the day to all of the Colts fans barkin' right now. How are you gonna take off of the list to put Marvin on that joint?

Now there will also be people that will say that T.O. shouldn't be on the list primarily because they don't like him. Well…this isn't a popularity contest homeboy. I'm talkin' about the most talented wide receivers of all-time. Not the most liked or well adjusted! I’m talkin' about the pound for pound most skilled cats to ever play the position.

Now I know that some of you cats will disagree with me on this list and I'm cool with that because who am I? But if you disagree you better have some dun that I completely forgot about that was a freakin' beast! And who are you gonna take off of this list to put him on it? Oh yeah, remember ole boy's gotta finish cuttin' your hair before you walk out of the joint while he's arguin' about who's in the top 5. Stop me when I start lyin'!

Totin' the Rock (Why Emmitt Smith isn't one of the Top 10 Running Backs All-Time)

"Sweetness" The best to ever do it!
My list is skill set only playa! You don't have to look at stats to tell who was the best physically at running the football. Once again if you have to look at numbers you don't know running backs.

1. Walter Payton

"Sweetness"
2. Barry Sanders

"Mr. Elusive"
3. Jim Brown

"Mr. Way Before His Time!"
4. Bo Jackson

"Bo Knows!"
5. O.J. Simpson

"The Juice"
6. Gayle Sayers

"The Kansas Comet"
7. Tony Dorsett

"The Speed Merchant"
8. Marshall Faulk

"The 1st dual threat"
9. Earl Campbell

"The Tyler Rose"
10A. Eric Dickerson

"The Gazelle"

10B. Adrian Peterson
"All Day"

Now this list is in no particular order after the top two and many would argue that Barry should be at the top of the list. I could respect that. However playboy, Walter did it for a longer period of time and played on a terrible team too. I can also hear the old timers askin' how in the world do you put Payton and Sanders ahead of Jim Brown?

Listen up playa, Jim played from 1957 to 1965 and there were very few African Americans playin' during that era. He was 6'2" 232 lbs. and was pretty much the fastest and strongest guy on the field in every game he played. The average corner was 5'9" 165lbs and couldn't run him down. Would Jim had been as dominate if he were playin' against duns like Deion, Rod Woodson or safeties like Jack Tatum etc. Players that could move as quickly as he could? There were no Ronnie Lott's or Shawn Taylor's out there bruh! Jim was a man among boyz and that's why he was so dominant. He's still one of the best of all-time because he could have played in any era. But was he better than Sweetness or Barry?

It's like sayin' that Babe Ruth was the best hitter ever and he didn't play against the best players in the world at the time. There were no Latin or African-American players playin' in the Majors when he was the king of baseball. Babe didn't line up against Satchel Paige or duns like that. That's Jim's problem. Not all of the brothers got a chance to play while he was playin'.

I can hear the clown on the roof screamin' "What about LeBron? He ain't playin' against the best players in the world!" He's playing against the best players alive bruh! There is no rule to say that certain players can't participate because of their race or religion etc. Babe was playin' with Satchel playin' down the street in the Negro League.

Also LeBron would be LeBron in any era just like Jordan, Magic and Deion would too. Great players are great players the only question is where do they stack up against other great players. That's my deal with Jim Brown. He's top 10 but could he have done what he did against boyz that were just as athletic that could run him down at the time?

I‘m also hearin', "Why isn't the all-time leading rusher Emmitt Smith on the list." Well he was the recipient of probably the best offensive line ever assembled and he played for 143 years. He wasn't more physically gifted than the other guys. He just ran through bigger holes bruh! I could pull my Range Rover into some of the holes that dun ran through. Would he have been Emmitt Smith playin' in Chicago or Detroit? Absolutely not! He would have been just another cat drafted because he was as slow as molasses.

Just think of what Walter or Barry would have accomplished during their career's if they were just on decent teams. Give me a break with the Emmitt Smith argument!

Bo Jackson was probably the most impressive physically of the group. No one possessed the size and speed that he did. He was 6'1" 220lbs and ran a 40-yard dash in a blistering 4.12 seconds, which is still the fastest verifiable 40-yard dash time ever recorded at any NFL Combine. Not to mention his ability to run through a boy at the mere sight of him. Just ask Mr. Steroid himself Brian Bosworth. Bo essentially ended The Boz’s career on Monday Night Football when he completely destroyed him at the goal line.

Many will question why I've got Marshall in the top 10 but those that know the game realize that he changed the running back position forever because of he was the first to catch the football out of the backfield. Without Marshall we wouldn't have the spread offenses that we've fallen so in love with over the past decade or so.

Do I really have to explain why Adrian Peterson is on the list bruh? When it's all said and done he may even become one of the best to ever do it and he's playin' in a quarterback driven league. Just think about what he would have done to boyz

The last thing that I have to say to those that think because Emmitt holds the rushin' record that he should be in the top 10. Who are you going to take off of the list to put that dun on it?

This is my list playa what's yours?

Top 5 NFL Quarterbacks All-Time

"Dan Marino was the most talented quarterback to ever play the game but couldn't LEAD his team to a title!"
The quarterback is the most important position in sports playboy. This dun has the ball in his hands on EVERY play. Now on all of my other top 5 lists I haven't looked at stats/wins because you can typically eye ball a boy and know whether he's worthy of all-time great in his position. However, with this position wins and titles make a huge difference because if you're the team leader it's gotta be about how well you were able to lead. So wins and titles mean everything in this particular category.

So if you're looking for Dan Marino you won't find him on my list pimpin'. Now on some real talk, he was probably the most talented quarterback to ever play the game but he couldn't lead his team to a title and like I said on my running back list about ole dull Emmitt, who do I take off of the list to put him on it? This is the top 5 at playing the position not the top 5 at throwing the football because Jeff George would be No. 1, there is a difference playa. The quarterback position is not about talent but about leadership and making everyone else good enough to win championships.* I know that you duns are going to argue all day about who should be on this list. So here is mine Duhaveys:

1. Otto Graham

Selected to 5 Pro Bowls and was a two-time NFL MVP. He played his entire career with Cleveland.
Graham led the Browns to 7 championships in his first 10 years, and only lost 13 games throughout his career.* On that fact alone he's the best "Quarterback" to ever play the game because he lead his team to a championship 70% of the time he booted up. Otto was 57-13-1 record as a starter in the NFL and that represents the highest winning percentage all-time of any quarterback (.810). If duns argue with Otto Graham being at the top of the list you're smoking crack, sippin' syrup and chewing mushrooms after riding around with Snoop, Wiz Khalifa and Cheech & Chong all day!

I will say this, Joe played with arguably the best receiver to ever play the freakin' game and he played for the inventor of the spread offense, Bill Walsh, 20 years before anybody else in the league started using it. 4. Bret Favre

For the record I can't stand this cat because I think he was the most selfish player I've ever seen but this ain't about how I feel pimpin'. Giants. 8-time Pro Bowler, an NFL MVP and a two-time Super Bowl MVP.

Keep in mind that this dun has been ballin' without having a legitimate receiver. Randy Moss was on the tail end of his career and was sparingly used when he had him. Just think about what this cat could have done with some horses like Montana had. It's scary to think about bruh!

Here's the roof top screamer, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME? No ELWAY!" Like I asked boyz last week about Emmitt! Who are you gonna take off to put that dun on it? I'm waiting!

That's my list Duhaveys! What you got?
