How Cam Newton forgot Big Momma's No.1 rule! "Darn Near Perfect"

"Huh...."

As I'm searchin' for the wisdom to navigate this life. One of the few places outside of the Book of Proverbs and Solomon's teachings is a place we like to call the barber shop bruh. When I walked into the joint today I see these three cats arguin' about bein' perfect. Michelangelo said, The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection." Aristotle looked at a boy with a stern eye and shouted, "Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work." Then Vince Lombardi stood up and spit the realist two bars ever spoken when he said, "Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence."  

Well playas....that's what the old timers used to tell us young boyz growin' up black every day of our lives. In order to find success in this world livin' under the rule of the "Double Standard" you've got to be darn near perfect! And that's the edited version. So for all of the duns makin' excuses for Cam Newton's behavior on Sunday night at his post-game press conference, you're completely wastin' your time! Why? Because all of the old timers, 40 and 50 something year old black folks don't wanna hear it. Why? Because we were taught the same game Cam was taught. "You gotta be darn near perfect!"

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Yeah, I know that for the first time in Super Bowl history both teams did their post-game interviews within an ear shot of one another. In pretty much the same room bruh. Yeah, I know Cam could hear boyz celebratin' their win and talkin' about how they were able to beat him doin' this and that. And yeah, I know that he was frustrated by the loss combined with the disrespect of the league pullin' a stunt like that. I get all of that playa. But Ima tell you just like my mother, grandmother, her mother and big momma before that would have told you, "You knew that you were black before you played the game son! As a matter of fact, you've been knowin' you were black for 26 years Cam! You can't just do things any kind of way. You've got to be darn near perfect at all times. You've got to dot all of the I's and cross all of the T's and you know that! You've got to be 400 percent better to be considered equal! That's been in the Black Man's Constitution since we were freed in 1865! YOU KNOW THAT" 

But here we go, "But Peyton Manning lost to the New Orleans Saints in 2010 in the Super Bowl and he walked off of the field without shakin' Drew Brees' hand or congratulatin' any of the Saints players for that matter and nobody said a word about his post game behavior." Big Momma: "Now baby I've told you since the day you were born that you can't do what everybody else can do! You gotta be darn near perfect! Those are the rules for your life and you've got to live by them and we expect you to do just that! If you're darn near perfect you'll achieve greatness!"

Don't let these suckas out here fool you into believin' that it was black folks that elected Barack Obama president. Most of us voted for him but we didn't elect him. We only make up 13 percent of the total US population playboy! And all 13 percent didn't cast a vote for him for various reasons! We either didn't vote (too lazy or voted for McCain), couldn't (dull voter ID laws that seriously affected the old timers etc and felony convictions in some states) or weren't old enough to cast a vote. 

So therefore, only a small few actually turned out. to vote for him. However, Barack listened to his Big Momma, that didn't look like him I might add, when she told him that he had to be darn near perfect! Why? Because you already know that boyz got at him with a fine toothed comb lookin' for ANY and EVERY thing they could find that was negative from his childhood to the day he was elected. However, he was squeaky clean! Why? Because he was darn near perfect! There were a lot of folks that didn't look like him that voted for him that will NEVER admit that they did but the numbers don't lie playa. 

What's my point? You can't control the "Double Standard" that exists in America. You can only learn how to navigate it and bein' darn near perfect is the only solution. So when you show up to the post-game press conference with a hoodie on, answerin' questions like a third grader that just got all of his reflectors stolen off of his Huffy. You aren't bein' darn near perfect. When you get up and bounce on the media early because you're upset you weren't bein' darn near perfect. 

I didn't make the rules playboy I've just learned how to live by them. Be your best at all times and God will bless you for attemptin' to be darn near perfect. Ask anybody that has found success that looks like you Cam, how they were able to get where they are and they'll tell you that they had to be DARN NEAR PERFECT! Stop me when I start lyin'!

Why Cam Newton owes the brotherhood a SERIOUS apology! "Shoulders"

"Ima be what Ima be bruh!"

Joel Osteen once said, "I think a big test we all face in life on a regular basis is that discouragement test. Life's not always fair, but I believe if you keep doing the right thing, God will get you to where you are." Mark Wahlberg, the rapper turned actor, gave it to us like this, "I pray to be a good servant to God, a father, a husband, a son, a friend, a brother, an uncle, a good neighbor, a good leader to those who look up to me, a good follower to those who are serving God and doing the right thing." Then C.S. Lewis, the British novelist, completely turned the joint over on it's ear when he spit, "Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching." 

Well playas...havin' good sense and tact is doin' the right thing when EVERYBODY on the freakin' planet is watchin'! When more than 100 million people are lookin' to see if you're goin' to handle the bad times as gracefully as the good times you gotta be on point my brother. 

Durin' the Super Bowl post-game press conference Cam completely embarrassed the brotherhood that has been in the ride with him all season long. No, as a matter of fact, durin' his entire professional career! This dun showed up with a darn hoodie on sulking and pouting like a 6 year old after losin' the championship! 

So let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The 99.9999% of black folks that were pullin' for Cam Newton to win the Super Bowl that lived outside of Denver were ridin' with him because of one reason and one reason only. They identified with "The Struggle"  in which I wrote a crazy Hot Joint about last week. 

Most black folks in America understood and could identify with the double standard that Cam faced when all of these media-types and fans were blastin' him for celebratin' and Dabbin' on a boy. He was demonized for playin' the game with the same emotion and celebration that Aaron Rogers played with. However, Cam was evil and Aaron got a State Farm commercial out of it. Not to mention all of the character assassinations that followed him when he entered the league. The double Standard in America is real playboy! Whether folks want to believe it or not, black folks have to live at a higher standard than their white counterparts in order to be considered half as good. 

So boyz were ridin' hard for the young thunder cat to succeed includin' yours truly!!! Then he shows up after the Super Bowl loss in a freakin' hoodie lookin' like he's about to rob the liquor store down the street. The moment that he walked into the post-game presser all of the ridiculous criticisms of him were in most of the bigoted critics eyes made valid. 

Naw, young brother, put back on that darn rock star suit that you "George Jefferson" pimp walked in wearin' and handle your business like a professional. Now I've got no problem with the suit because I thought it was kind of fly. It was a rock star's suit, shoes and all! So if you're gonna walk around like one then be true to it, win or lose!!!  

But what you can't do is embarrass all of the folks that had your back while these duns were mistreatin' you. The same double standard that existed before you lost the Super Bowl and did nothin' wrong was still waitin' for your butt when you showed up in a darn hoodie! As a matter of fact, that double standard just grew ten fold when you came in lookin' crazy and it got even bigger when you walked out before it was over. And that's the edited version!!! 

Now you just gave credence to all of the suckas that are standin' around sayin', "I told you so" for the past 5 seasons.  

If you're goin' to talk mad noise and be cocky when everything is goin' good then you've got be able handle the full press when you lose. Handle yourself with the same flavor that you walked into the joint with and MAKE boyz respect you. Somebody had to lose the game bruh!! YOU'RE THE FREAKIN' LEAGUE MVP BRUH! ACT LIKE IT!!!!

See this ain't about just you playboy! It's about bein' an example for not only all of the young black kids that aspire to be like you but to keep all of the bigots like Bill Romanwoski at bay with racist comments. Don't give suckas like that room to take shots at you.  

This is about makin' all of the old timers that came before you proud that you were standin' on their shoulders. When you pull a stunt like that you destroy all of the work that they put in to give the mere opportunity to even play in the NFL. Not to mention seein' a black man play quarterback on the biggest stage in sports! You owe the pioneers of the sport that look like you that much respect playa. 

Yes, Cam Newton embarrassed the brotherhood with his actions on Sunday night and he owes that same group of people a darn apology! And that's the edited version!! Stop me when I start lyin'

The REAL reason why most black folks are ridin' with Cam Newton on Sunday! "The Struggle"

"Ima always be me bruh!" 

Pope Paul VI once said, "All life demands struggle. Those who have everything given to them become lazy, selfish, and insensitive to the real values of life. The very striving and hard work that we so constantly try to avoid is the major building block in the person we are today." Martin Luther King Jr. gave it to us like this, "Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals." Then Frederick Douglas shut the buildin' down when he simply spit, "If there is no struggle, there is no progress." 

Well playas....in order to understand the struggle you've got to be able to identify with the struggle. On Sunday evenin' everybody and their baby's momma's momma, Ms. Jackson, will be watchin' the Super Bowl. Most people will pick a side to cheer for various reasons. Cats that are from Denver will ride with Peyton Manning and boyz from the state of North Carolina and specifically Charlotte, will jump in the car with Cam Newton. Everybody in between will pick sides for a multitude of reasons. Duns in Indianapolis will ride with Peyton because he played here for 146 years. He was responsible for the growth of the city of Indianapolis whether duns wanna tell the truth or not. Oh yes, playboy you can attribute most, if not all, of the economic growth in Indianapolis to brother Peyton. So we love him for that. 

However, most black folks, whether they live in Charlotte or Indianapolis, will be in the whip with Cam Newton!! Not because of the obvious thought process of just bein' black. It's deeper than just skin color playboy. It's called the kinship of the struggle. 

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Most white folks in America will never understand what it's like to be black in America. Why? Because they live in a world that is owned and operated by them and everywhere they go they see themselves reflected in it. They can go anywhere in this country and not stick out like a sore thumb and be accepted. They've never experienced the double standard that Cam Newton has experienced since he came into the league. However, most black folks have and still do EVERYDAY of their lives. Every time Cam scored a touchdown he was vilified for it. However, Aaron Rogers did the exact same thing and was not only praised for it but he secured a State Farm commercial out of it. 

What Cam Newton is goin' through is just a microcosm of what most black folks go through on the job everyday. If the brother is 5 minutes late he get's written up. If his white counterpart is late it's overlooked and ignored. If the brother makes a mistake he's terminated but if his white counterpart makes the same mistake he ends up gettin' promoted. I've seen it with my own two eyes playa. I'm not tellin' you what I heard. I'm tellin' you what I know. 

If the brother gets pulled over with some weed in the car he's goin' to jail for 5 years but if the white kid gets pulled over with the SAME amount of weed he's gettin' 2 years probation.

Black folks are pullin' for Cam not because he's black but because he's goin' through the same struggle they are goin' through and he just happens to be the same color they are. His struggle is just on the football field.  

When Cam got drafted No.1 overall all of the so-called experts said that he wasn't good enough to play quarterback in this league. They attacked his character even before they really knew who he was. Brian Billick had the unmitigated gal to say, "Where in the history of the NFL have you seen anybody win championship that looks like Cam Newton?" And I'll bet my bottom dollar he wasn't talkin' about race or color but it was an insult still the same. There were a lot of people (so-called NFL experts) that didn't want him to play quarterback in the NFL and if they had their way he wouldn't even be in the league today. It's the struggle bruh.  

Well...most black folks can identify with that struggle because if there weren't a law called "Affirmative Action" that forces employers to at least give a minority (that includes white women too) an opportunity to interiew and be hired, most of us, no matter how qualified we are, wouldn't be workin'. You do realize that if there wasn't a law the American work force would look like the Oscars membership votin' board. It would be male and white. Even with the law in place many of us show up to jobs that have 10,000 employees and only 45 people that look like us. It's the struggle that we identify with bruh.  

See, this is bigger than just black folks ridin' with a black quarterback because he's black. Because most black folks weren't even thinkin' about Russell Wilson bein' black and winnin' a Super Bowl because they didn't identify with him. Why? Because he wasn't ostracized in the same manner that Cam has been. Whenever somebody is goin' through the same struggle that you're goin' through regardless of your skin color you're goin' to find a kinship with them. 

It's no different than duns that either had or were survivors of cancer that were ridin' hard with Lance Armstrong. They identified with his struggle. So there was nothin' that you could tell them that would get them out of the car with him. Even when boyz found out that he was cheatin' cats didn't give up on him? Why? Because they identified with his struggle. 

Cam Newton not apologizin' for bein' young black and urban with a lot of swag is motivatin' to other young black urban kids. You can still keep your culture, your flavor and still be successful. Cam has been an absolute role model for young black kids in America. He's been in the league for 5 years and he's never once been in trouble with the law, been caught up in foolishness on the news or anything of that nature. Not since he's been a professional athlete playboy! Yes, he made some mistakes as young college student but who hasn't? 

All he's ever done since becomin' a pro is play the game and danced after scorin' touchdowns. Those are all within the rules of the game. As long as you play by the rules in life you shouldn't be demonized for bein' different and bein' genuinely you. That's the reason why most black folks are ridin' with Cam on Sunday. Check this out playa, just because I'm ridin' with Cam on Sunday doesn't mean that I love Peyton any less. It just means that I identify with Cam that much more! 

Remember when Lisanity took over the Garden a few years ago bruh? Asians and people of Asian decent all over the world went nuts in support of him. Why? Because they more closely identified with him. I guess boyz don't remember when Yao Ming kept startin' in the NBA All-State Game over Shaq because the duns that more closely identified with him kept votin' for him. When Oscar De La Hoya was the "Golden Boy" MOST Latinos were in the car with him no matter who he was fightin'. If there were an openly gay quarterback startin' in the Super Bowl this weekend MOST folks in the LBGT community would be in the ride with him. So why is it a crime for me to suggest that MOST black folks are ridin' with Cam this weekend because they can identify with his struggle? Stop me when I start lyin'!

The REAL reason Cam Newton has a right to be arrogant and cocky! "Bird"

"Y'all already know what y'all can do!" 

John C. Maxwell, the author and speaker, once said, "There are two kinds of pride, both good and bad. 'Good pride' represents our dignity and self-respect. 'Bad pride' is the deadly sin of superiority that reeks of conceit and arrogance." Keyshawn Johnson gave it to us like this, "The definition of swagger, in my opinion, is you have to have that arrogance, that confidence that you are the best out there at all times." Then Connor McGregor, the mixed martial artist, put it where the goats could get it when he spit, "My success isn't a result of arrogance - it's a result of belief." 

Well playas...everybody and their baby's momma's momma, Ms. Jackson, has been talkin' about the arrogance of Cam Newton all season long. The crazy thing is, he's the same cat he's been since he stepped foot in the league in 2011. However, the difference is the fact that he's beatin' the brakes off of everybody now and boyz are upset with him. When he was losin' nobody cared about the dun dancin' or doin' the Superman!  

Ever since the Super Bowl match up was set after both Carolina and Denver won their respective conference titles boyz have been on 10 analyzin' the young black thug  vs. the great white hype scenario. 

Last week I wrote several Hot Joints explainin' to you boyz about why and how there is a double standard in this country when it comes to black folks and the perceptions of their athletes. I broke down why Cam is simply  playin' the Game inside the Game in a joint entitled "Dabbin." I wrote about how the media is paintin' an unfair portrait of both Peyton and Cam in a joint called "Pass." I even had to break down the foolishness that is Charles Barkley and how he continues to dance a jig when asked about the subject of race in "Dancin'." 

Finally, I had to set ESPN's Ryan Clark straight on how he tried to water down the entire conversation of race and blame it on culture in the crazy Hot Joint entitled "Onions."   However, 80 percent of you cats aren't willin' to see the world through the lenses that a black kid sees it through so Ima have to break it own  in a language that you can understand. 

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! For the purpose of the rest of this conversation Cam Newton is now white! However, the criticisms of him are exactly the same. As a matter of fact, he's whatever color YOU are right at this moment. Naw playa, he's YOU! Substitute YOUR name for his. 

Now when YOU showed up to the 2011 NFL combine after winnin' a National Championship at Auburn and a National Championship in junior college too everybody was playa hatin' YOU! This is what some dun from Pro Football Weekly wrote as a summary of you: 

"Very disingenuous—has a fake smile, comes off as very scripted and has a selfish, me-first makeup. Always knows where the cameras are and plays to them. Has an enormous ego with a sense of entitlement that continually invites trouble and makes him believe he is above the law—does not command respect from teammates and always will struggle to win a locker room. Only a one-year producer. Lacks accountability, focus and trustworthiness—is not punctual, seeks shortcuts, and sets a bad example. Immature and has had issues with authority. Not dependable."

Then right before the draft ALL of the so-called experts like Derrick Brooks, Skip Bayless, Terry Bradshaw, Brian Billick, Corey Chavous, etc., etc., etc. and every other sucka that thought that they knew something about football told boyz not to take YOU with the first pick. As a matter of fact, these cats said that YOU wouldn't translate into an NFL quarterback at all. There were even clowns says that YOU were a narcissistic con-artist. They said that YOU would never become a leader of men. YOU would NEVER get the respect of your locker room. 

They described YOU as bein' undependable and untrustworthy. Brian Billick had the unmitigated gal to say, "Who in the history of the NFL has won a championship that looks like YOU." Terry Bradshaw said that all of the other quarterbacks were much further along than YOU. So not only were boyz killin' YOUR ability to play the game but they were assassinatin' YOUR character at the same time. 

So now YOU'RE 5 years into YOUR career and YOU'VE led YOUR team to a 17-1 record into the SUPER BOWL and all of these SAME dunes that trashed not only YOUR game but YOUR character have had to cover and interview YOU ALL season long. Now look me in my eye and tell me that YOU would have not only a chip on YOUR shoulder but a freakin' bolder on it. 

When people try to destroy YOU and attack YOUR character it becomes personal playboy. We can take all of the race talk out of the equation for the sake of this conversation and break it down in pure human terms. Cam Newton is tellin' ALL of these fake media-types that had something crazy to say about him 5 years ago to kiss his butt with their tongues out every time he scores a touchdown. And that's the edited version. He won't say it so I will!! 

This is personal pimpin'! Everybody is smilin' in his face actin' like they love him and he knows all of the duns by first and last name that said something crazy about him. So when that fool walks up to shake his hand and is fake he knows that this dun is a straight up sucka. And from a human flesh stand point you can't blame him. So for that reason I've got no problem with Cam flippin' the bird at all of those cats for attackin' his character. I hope that he beats the breaks, transmission, doors and tires off of the Denver Broncos on Sunday and dances like Michael Jackson in the Wiz EVERY TIME he scores! Stop me when I start lyin'!

Why ESPN's Ryan Clark was wrong about the Cam Newton perception! "Onions"

"I'm gone be me playa and there's nothin' you can do about it!" 

Chris Robinson, the singer of the Black Crowes, once said, "With time and experience comes a different perception of what's going on around you." Aldous Huxley, the English writer and novelist, gave it to us like this, "There are things known and there are things unknown, and in between are the doors of perception." Then the great Jim Brown broke it down like an ole playa at a pimp' convention when he spit, "I'm not interested in trying to work on people's perceptions. I am who I am, and if you don't take the time to learn about that, then your perception is going to be your problem." 

Well playas...the problem that some folks are havin' with Cam Newton is their issue with perception. We've talked all week about how race is playin' a factor in the negative perception duns are havin' of this young cat and everybody and their baby's momma's momma, Ms. Jackson, has an opinion of it. We've seen duns pull studies on "race and perception of black athletes celebrations" from Harvard and various other top flight universities to address the obvious double standard that exists in this country. We've seen duns try to even act like it doesn't exist and that black folks are just makin' this foolishness up like they always do. We've even witnessed Charles Barkley "dancin' a jig" along with Stacey Dash as I explained in my Hot Joint this week entitled "Dancin'" for the mainstream to make black folks and Cam especially, look like idiots for even suggestin' such a thing. 

However, ESPN analyst Ryan Clark said something this week that made some folks feel a little more comfortable with how they feel about Cam and it sounded good but he was still wrong. Ole boy said that this isn't about race, it's about culture. He said that people aren't upset with Cam because he's black but because of his culture. He said that they don't understand it. He's young and hip hop (that's watered down for street), he's very in your face and unapologetic. He's too urban. That makes some white folks uncomfortable. They weren't uncomfortable with Russell Wilson because he's more relatable to them. He doesn't dance, he isn't in your face etc. He doesn't hang out with Jeezy and J. Cole or other rappers etc. He's just a normal guy in their minds. 

He doesn't dance because he can't, accordin' to Clark. He goes on to say that duns are more acceptin' of what they are more comfortable with. They can relate to Gronk bein' awkward and tryin' to dance because they are to some degree awkward themselves. So it's not about race, it's about culture. 

Well playboy, let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Ryan Clark made that assessment of this foolishness because he's too young to know any better. It's sounded good but in order to know the truth of how things work you've got to understand the history of this country and race. Duns aren't uncomfortable with Russell Wilson because in their minds Russ is a black guy that knows his place. He's what the ole racist in this country used to call a "Good N-word" because he goes to work and stays in his place. Just so you don't think that I'm makin' this foolishness up accordin' to Robert Livingston, a lecturer on public policy at Harvard's John F. Kennedy School of Government said in an email to ole girl, Nancy Armour from USA Today, that wrote the crazy hot joint this week on Cam, I might add, that, "(Minorities) are expected to do their jobs quietly, without making a fuss." And unfortunately for some racist folks in this country, Cam isn't doin' that playa.     

However, Russell Wilson isn't flamboyant, he isn't in your face with his culture of bein' street or hip hop whichever you perfer. Now, he's not doin' it on purpose he's just bein' himself. He's a very nice and mellowed out kid that grew up in a different type of environment than someone like Cam, myself or like any other urban cats grew up in. The racist doesn't like him because he's black but he'll tolerate him as long as he stays in his place. If you don't believe what I'm sayin' bruh, go talk to Big Momma that 70 plus years old and she'll tell you. 

Back in the day the outward racist in this country would say that black folks need to stay in their place and those that didn't they would call an "Upperty N-word."  These are facts bruh. I'm not makin' this foolishness up. Well... in the minds of people that still think that way today, Cam is just that. If you don't believe me get on social media and read it for yourself. They're callin' him every N-word imaginable and it's a darn shame in 2016 that people still think and talk this way. 

Think about it bruh. Just two years ago we had Peyton Manning vs. Russell Wilson in the Super Bowl and the subject of race never came up. We had the same scenario of "black quarterback vs. white quarterback" and nobody even paid attention to it. Why? Because duns like Russell Wilson aren't viewed as bein' black to mainstream America because he's very unassumin'. Most black folks didn't even pay attention to it because they can't relate to Russell Wilson. Why? Because he doesn't have the personality of the young urban cat that appeals to them like Cam does. And I'm not talkin' about rich vs. middle class vs. poor black folks because urban black culture extends outside of the reach of the ghetto. There are black kids with bread that act, talk  and dress like poor black kids in the ghetto. There are rich white kids in the suburbs that want to be black by the way that they act and dress. Black culture has taken over the commercialization of products in every facet of marketing.    

There's not anything wrong with it but it's the truth. Russell Wilson isn't the only black athlete loved or accepted by racists folks in this country. Boyz like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Charles Barkley, O.J. Simpson (before the murder trial) aren't looked at as bein' black by mainstream media and fans. Why? Because they don't identify with black folks on issues of race and culture and they stay away from urban conversations. At least Barkley will have an opinion on something, albeit wrong, but I'll at least give him credit for speakin' his mind. Duns like Mike and Tiger will NEVER voice an opinion about ANYTHING that has to do with race and culture and won't EVER do anything to identify with urban Black America. The only thing Jordan will do is sell a boy in the hood some sneakers. 

Ryan Clark did a great job of waterin' down this topic but he was wrong even though it sounded good. In order to have a real conversation about race, we as Americans need to be willin' to peal the layers of the onion back and have real dialogue without bein' afraid to hurt folks feelings. Charles said that we shouldn't be usin' sports to talk race because there are other more important issues involvin' race that we should be discussin'. 

Well... let me put it where the goats can get it bruh. These very issues of perception are the very problems that cause all of the other issues of race in this country. When people have the audacity to look down their noses at another race of people as bein' inferior to them. It becomes very easy for police officers to, at an alarmin' rate, kill unarmed black folks without public outrage from ALL races of people. And we SHOULDN'T think that it's acceptable for the police to do everything in their power to negotiate with a gang of white cats in Oregon that took over a federal wildlife refuge with guns and threatenin' to use them more than a month ago. 

It's UNACCEPTABLE for people to say that Michael Brown, who by all reports had no gun and his hands were up, SHOULD have been killed because he was a thug. Just as it's UNACCEPTABLE to say that the Oregon gang leader, Robert "Levoy" Finicum, was murdered when video tape clearly shows him with his hands up only to reach for the 9-millimeter weapon that was in his pocket. He wasn't murdered! He was justifiably killed. Those police officers have EVERY right to make it back home to their families at the end of a work day whether the suspect was black or white or whether the cops were black or white.  

It's perception that allows this type of foolishness to play out. I want what's right for ALL people not just for black folks. If you're wrong you're wrong and if you're right you're right.  If you're goin' hate Cam for celebratin' then hate Aaron Rogers for doin' the same thing. Then I'm cool!! And if we don't talk about race in these instances when are we EVER goin' to talk about it. Stop me when I start lyin'!

How Cam Newton is simply playin' the GAME inside the GAME playa! "Dabbin'"

'Keep me out of the end zone playboy!"

Hilary Clinton once said, "What we have to do... is to find a way to celebrate our diversity and debate our differences without fracturing our communities." Oprah Winfrey gave it to us like this, "The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate." Then Audre Lorde shut the buildin' down when she spit, "It is not our differences that divide us. It is our inability to recognize, accept, and celebrate those differences." 

Well playas...Cam Newton didn’t just start celebratin' in the end zone once he became a superstar quarterback in the National Football League. This phenomenon known as end zone celebrations and trash talkin' is more cultural than people want to admit and that's why mainstream America has a problem with him.  It’s a right of passage for ball playas in the African-American community, middle class or poor. When kids first learn how to play ball, they're taught by the older kids that the game is played between the ears. See everyone in the hood has talent, speed, agility and quickness. So the playin' field many times is level.  How can a boy get an advantage? By gettin' inside of the other cats head. 

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! If you want to compete in the hood you have to be able to hold your own. If you’re not strong mentally you won’t be able to compete let alone win anything. So kids in that environment learn to be tough early on or they won‘t make it. A boy can’t afford to get labeled as the kid that can’t take the trash talk because he’ll get targeted everyday. Duns will intentionally go after him just to break him down mentally. Those are the rules playboy. And Cam is playin' by them. The more he plays by those rules the more fun he has. 

It’s more than just a game it’s about who is tougher between the ears. Those that are the toughest mentally usually become the better players. Those that aren’t, well...they typically quit before they get out of middle school. That’s just the way it is pimpin'. It’s cultural and there’s nothin' anybody can do about it. Cam Newton isn't goin' to stop bein' black and playin' the way he loves to play because some that grew up in the suburbs or rural America don't like it or don't understand it. This is the way most if not all of the cats that look like him were taught to play the game. Sure, there are some exceptions to that rule but for the most part most of the brothers in the league learned to play the same way. Attitude and swag is what gets a boy over the top. 

Boyz would always ask themselves how can they get an edge on a cat that has the same amount of talent that they have? There’s no secret formula or magic potion, just rattle him until he breaks.

And let's be honest, the game is a lot more fun to play when everyone understands the rules of engagement. The weak individuals were eliminated in middle school so that the real trash talkers make it to high school. Then the celebrations and talk gets even louder and even more harsh. By the time guys make it to college it’s at a fever pitch. Why do you think that the Miami Hurricanes were so successful in the 1980’s thru 2001? 

Yeah, they were obviously better than other teams but they also got into their heads and wore them down. It's much easier to beat duns that were internalizin' the trash talk, waitin' on the dancin' and takin' it personal. It’s called “gamesmanship”. I can beat you as long as I’ve got you doubtin' yourself and many times that means tryin' to embarrass you in the process. Therefore, Cam is like, "Let me go head and Dab on these boyz while 20 million people are watchin' this foolishness."

That’s what duns like Michael Irving and Deion Sanders were able to do to boyz. Think about it bruh, their nicknames were "The Playmaker" and "Prime Time!" That was strictly for show playa!! Remember when Billy “White Shoes” Johnson would do the crazy legs in the end zone and people would go crazy? That made the game fun to play and to watch. It's entertainment bruh!!! These ole playa hatin' media-types and these out of touch fans are killin' me actin' like this cat is doin' something wrong by clownin' these boyz after he scores. Why are people tryin' to take the attitude out of the game? That’s what makes the GAME the GAME! 

I hear these media-types so many times demonizin' Cam Newton by sayin that he’s disrespectin' the other team. That’s EXACTLY what he’s tryin' to do. Point blank! He’s tryin' to get into their heads so that he can win the game. However, the only people that make comments like that are people that didn’t grow up in that culture.

 The only guys on the field that get offended by Cam Dabbin' the end zone are the weak minded individuals and he's done his job if they're upset by it. Well…70% of the guys on the field grew up understandin' what the rules are and the few brothers that didn't grow up in the hood were taught them by their relatives. So if a sucka is mad then he better check himself because it's gonna be a long day.   

Let's keep it as simple as possible bruh.  If boyz don’t wanna see Cam dance or celebrate they’ve got to keep him out of the end zone. And I hope he dances for 4 quarters in Super Bowl 50! Stop me when I start lyin'!

Soulja Boy Tell 'Em ( Why all Cam Newton needed was some help!)

Cam Newton is taking a salutary pleasure in winning 6 straight games and knocking off the New England Patriots on Monday Night Football at the crib 24-20. Even though the refs completely blew the pass interference call as time expired; Carolina linebacker Luke Kuechkly had Rob Gronkowski hugged up like he was about to tongue kiss that dun when Robert Lester intercepted the Tom Brady pass in the end zone.

The flags came flying like they should have and then they swooped them up with no explanation and the zebras ran off of the field bruh! TERRIBLE CALL! Now who’s to say that the Pats would have scored a touchdown to win the joint on the next play but that’s neither here nor there?

Let’s get back to Cam ballin’ out on these boyz. He finished with 209 yards and 3 touchdowns and most importantly he's a team leader. Something that duns doubted he would be able to do when he came out of Auburn a couple of years ago. Jealousy and envy is a beast bruh and that's the edited version!

With all of these fake media type cats trying their best to destroy him while he was at Auburn; he still won the Heisman, became the 1^st pick in the 2011 NFL draft, named the NFL’s Rookie of the Year and went to the Pro Bowl! Oh yeah, did I mention that he set the rookie passing record at the time? Well, if I didn't, I just did pimpin' and he's making a cool $5.5 million this year.

In his short 2 and half years in the league this young thunder cat has thrown for 10,099 yards, 56 TD’s and 37 picks. It wasn’t until this year that he’s had any help. Now he’s got a defense to work with, get him some offensive weapons. Steve Smith is all he’s got and he’s on the back end of his career!

I'd like to be sitting next to that clown right now. All of his observations of Cam were in my opinion, a personal bias formed as a result of the NCAA investigation of the kid which didn't find him guilty of anything. I mean, is this guy a writer or a psychologist? Either way, Cam's got him and every other idiot in the media that didn't give him a foo foo dogs chance in the hood looking stupid.

They were and still are lining up to say how the kid won't make it in the NFL and my man Cam has done nothing but use it as bulletin board material. He passed for 432 yards against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, the most ever in a single game by a rookie. He has 854 yards passing through two games, another rookie record, and for a few hours that stood as the most by any quarterback in the first two weeks of the season. Then New England's Tom Brady broke the mark again later in the day with 940. The previous record was 827 by Kurt Warner in 2000.

He’s stingin' boyz right now and all I keep hearing is haters in the media saying he‘s not impressive. I heard Colin Cowherd say that he's got more picks than touchdowns and he hasn't won a game. What? The kid is completely destroying defenses and that's the best you can come up with? He's a rookie quarterback on the worse team in the league with one weapon, Steve Smith. How do I know it's the worse team in the league? Because they drafted him with the first pick in the NFL draft that‘s how. Seems like you would know that if it's your job to know sports. The worse team get’s the first pick that’s how it works bruh! How many games did Troy Aikman or Peyton Manning win their rookie year? I can count that on my little hand, 4 total (Aikman 1 and Manning 3)! Now, I'm not saying that he's going to be a Hall Of Famer like those guys. However, I am saying that he shouldn't be expected to win anymore games than they did as rookies.

Let's see, they've been playing pro football in this country since 1920 that's 91 years for those that can only criticize and can‘t add or subtract. Cam Newton has in two weeks done what no one else in darn near 100 years has been able to do and your saying that he's got too many picks? My motto has always been, "If more than 50% of the people in the room aren't hating on you. Then you need to step your game up!"

Cam I think you're doing exactly what you're supposed to be doing young bruh and that's increasing your number of hater by 20% every week. The more you keep showing up on Sundays the more we can watch the haters pile up and come up with ridiculous arguments as to why you aren't any good. I love it! The entertainment is in waiting to see what these guys are going to say next.

I even heard the Colin say, well Tom Brady is on pace to break Dan Marino's single season passing record by 2,000 yards. Really bruh, did you just say that! That's like saying that after the first 75 meters Husain Bolt is on pace to break the 200 meter world record by 4 seconds. It's like saying that when Kobe scored 81 points against Toronto in 2006, he was on pace to become the all-time NBA scoring leader in 3 seasons! That's called I'm mad that this kid is making me look stupid in front of my audience because I'm supposed to be the sports authority.

Well bruh, Cam is proving that he belongs in the league and as he learns from his mistakes he'll only get better.

 The kid has been so good over the course of his life that he simply doesn't understand that there are people that possess the same amount of talent that he does. Can you imagine going through life and being the very best at what you do everywhere that you've gone until you were 21 or 22 years old?

There are very few people that can say that and he's one of them. He shouldn't feel bad about throwing two interceptions against Green Bay because he got picked both times by Charles Woodson! As Charles was pulling those boyz out of the air he was saying, " I won a Heisman too young bruh, don‘t get it twisted!" The old timers always say that experience is the best teacher. Now Cam knows that he's in the NFL and that there are other people that are just as good and in many cases even more gifted than he is.

It's like all of a sudden waking up in the Matrix because everybody in the league was the man growing up. When the game finally slows down for him, he'll be the man all over again. He's just being reminded right now of when he was a kid  teasing the neighbors dog that finally breaks the chain and bites his boy. At that very moment someone rode past bumping that Juicy, “If you don’t know now you know!”
