John Adams gave it to us like this, "Great is the guilt of an unnecessary war." Then T.E. Lawrence, the British archeologist and military officer, spit the ultimate pimp game when he said, "To me an unnecessary action, or shot, or casualty, was not only waste but sin."
Well playas...LeBron James committed the ultimate sin this week when he lightweight hated on Steph Curry's MVP Award. I purposely waited until Steph fired back before I wrote this joint because I wanted to see what type of real cat Steph was gonna be. In case you've been under a rock all week, boyz asked LeBron what his thoughts were on ole boy becomin' the first unanimous MVP in the history of the league and LeBron popped off with this:
“I think he definitely deserved it. Look at Steph’s numbers. He averaged 30, he led the league in steals, he was 90-50-40 and they won 73 (games). Do you have any debate over that, really, when it comes to that award?" If ole boy had just left it there we'd be cool but he had to jump out of the birthday cake butt naked foamin' at the mouth when he added this: “But when you talk about most ‘valuable’ then you can have a different conversation, so, take nothing away from him, he’s definitely deserving of that award, for sure.”
Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! C'mon bruh! LeBron knows better than that! There's no way to even argue or debate about who was the MVP THIS year. The foolishness Steph was puttin' up? He was sick wit it all year bruh! Now if they had asked him that last year then he'd had some boyz, includin' myself, ridin' in the car with him on that. But not this year playa.
Last year no way should Steph have won the MVP if we're talkin' MOST VALUABLE PLAYER!!! LeBron showed up in Cleveland and took the one of the worst teams in the league the year before to the FINALS! And drug those boyz all the way through the playoffs by himself. Kyrie missed all of the playoffs but like two games and Kevin Love went down in the first series against Boston. And he took Golden State to 6 games! Oh, it was clear who the MVP last year was. Steph was the most outstandin' player but clearly not the MVP.
Oh are you questionin' that? If you would have takin' LeBron off of the Cavs last year they don't make the playoffs! Ask the Miami Heat that same question bruh! He took them to 4 straight Finals, he left and they didn't sniff the playoffs! And please don't give the, "Chris Bosh was hurt" excuse. If they went to 4 straight Finals even without Bosh they should have at least made the playoffs.
If you'd taken Steph off of the Warriors last year they still would have made the playoffs easy. VALUE is in what a boy brings to the table and what's taken away if he's not there.
However, in 2015-16 Steph Curry was a MONSTER and there wasn't even any comparison to the dun. The stuff he was doin' was ignorant and you can't hate on that and LeBron knows better. Really bruh? And I like the way Steph handled it when he did finally respond. He was on some old gangsta stuff. And that's the edited version. Ole boy said, "I've gotten really good at ignoring people...that's the theme of the last two years. I'm alright."
LeBron, you're my guy but you're a year too late on the shade on this one bruh!
On some real talk they need to name the award the most "Outstanding Player" instead of the "Most Valuable" because duns like Jordan and LeBron would have to win it EVERY year! Why? Because they were/are the MOST VALUABLE PLAYERS in the league every year from both an all around talent and financial standpoint. Stop me when I start lyin'!
