The Collapse (Colts 27 Texans 24)

"Man our coach fell out! I don't wanna hear that pimp! Yo coach ain't playin'!"
Wilma Rudolph once said, “I ran and ran and ran every day and I acquired this sense of determination, this sense of spirit that I would never, never give up, no matter what else happened.” Harriet Beecher Stowe, the author of Uncle Tom’s Cabin, broke it down like this, “Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn.” Then Bear Grylls, the guy on Man vs. Wild, walked into the joint and said, “Survival can be summed up in three words – never give up. That’s the heart of it really. Just keep trying.”

All of those duns must have been in the Colts locker room at the break as they were down 21-3 and staring down the barrel of the loaded gun of Case Keenum. Boyz needed something to help them regroup or continue to get drug around the city of Houston for the next 30 minutes. That pep talk worked because they came out and immediately erased an 18 point deficit to win 27-24.

When the Colts got off of the bus the Texans took them over to the 3rd Ward, beat the breaks off of ‘um and even ate some Frenchy’s Chicken in the first half. Andre Johnson went to work on these boyz as he jumped out of the whip sittin’ on 24’s with 7 receptions and 190 yards in the first half! It was ignorant that way he and Case Keenum were hooking up.

However, after Gary Kubiak collapsed heading to the locker room at the break the wheels fell off for the Texans too. It was like the heart and soul of the entire team got in the ambulance with ole boy and went to the hospital.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! I know boyz down in Houston are going to blame the collapse on the collapse but on some real talk, the collapse should have motivated those duns to play even harder. So don’t try to sell me the goat head this morning that boyz couldn’t play a freakin’ half of football with an 18 point lead.

No sir!! You’re trying to sell me a vacuum cleaner and I've got hard wood floors playboy! The Texans turned into the Texans that’s all. The same duns that jumped out the gate 2-0 and haven’t won a game since. The same cats that had been on a 5 game skid and now 6 that have been dysfunctional all season! Yeah, those duns!

The only collapse that boyz are surprised by is Gary Kubiak’s because they were waiting on the team to run the joint into the guard rail. You can ask Mike Jones, Paul Wall, Slim Thug, The Geto Boyz and ole dull Lil’ Flip and they all will give you the same answer bruh! “Who? Man… ain’t nobody watching them fools play around here!”

Not only did the Colts listen to Wilma, Harriet and Bear at half time  but they also heard ole Ray Charles say, “You gotta make it do what it do baby!” Don’t forget playboy, Andrew Luck is at the helm! This young cat going into this game had already pulled off 9 game winning drives in the fourth quarter! So you already know what time it was! In my Huggy Lowdown voice, “Waaait for it!”

No Reggie Wayne? No problem bruh! T.Y. Hilton was in the building! Luck hit that dun for 3 touchdowns in the 2nd half and pulled off his 10th game winning drive in the fourth quarter like boyz in the barber shop knew he would. That’s the most by any quarter back in their first two seasons since 1970!

Case Keenum put up 350 yards and 3 touchdowns in only his second start but this ain’t fantasy football pimpin’! You don’t get points for stats around this piece! It looks good in the box score but his boyz got soft around him after Kub went down. Now I hope that ole boy is OK because the first thing he’s got to do when he gets back is schedule open heart surgery for his entire team or better yet, send those duns to see the Wizard! Because they all need a new heart! Stop me when I start lyin’ bruh!
