Why Jordan is like a dead beat dad showin' up after 32 years bearin'gifts! "Influence"

"I tried bruh"
Phillip Brooks, the 19th century clergyman, once said, "Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks." Abraham Lincoln gave it to us like this, "Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power." Then Malala Yousafzai, the young Pakistani education activist, broke it down so that it would forever be broken when she spit, "When the whole world is silent, even one voice becomes powerful."

Well playas...even when the whole world is talkin' and cursin' each other out. When the great Michael Jordan speaks it's like E. F. Hutton up in this piece! EVERYBODY shuts up and listens! For the first time in the freakin' history of the world Michael Jeffery Jordan had something to say about something goin' on in this country. On Monday he wrote a letter to ESPN's The Undefeated with the headline, "I Can No Longer Stay Silent!"

He starts the joint off with, "As a proud American, a father who lost his own dad in a senseless act of violence, and a black man, I have been deeply troubled by the deaths of African-Americans at the hands of law enforcement and angered by the cowardly and hateful targeting and killing of police officers. I grieve with the families who have lost loved ones, as I know their pain all too well." He goes on to say, "We need to find solutions that ensure people of color receive fair and equal treatment AND that police officers – who put their lives on the line every day to protect us all – are respected and supported."He then tells a boy that he's goin' to donate $1 million each to The Institute for Community-Police Relations and the NAACP Legal Defense Fund.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Well it's about freakin' time playboy!  You would think that the Pope made a statement or that President Barack Obama held a State of the Union Address the way boyz all over this country responded to Jordan simply openin' his freakin' mouth. That's all we've ever wanted out of this cat. Just use your power of influence to make a difference. JUST OPEN YOUR FREAKIN' MOUTH BRUH!!! You don't have to scream or holler! You don't have to march or fight! Why? Because you're Michael Jordan! JUST OPEN YOUR MOUTH!!! Your words are more powerful than any cat walkin' these streets. So what's the point in havin' the power if you're only goin' to use it once every 32 years.

The world stood still when Jordan spoke! Why? Because he's the most influential man on earth. He's got duns runnin' around this piece like zombies wearin' his shoes and gear and he's said nothin' about the pain and struggle of his OWN people that support him even though they know he's been sittin' in the cut watchin' it.

After 32 long years he finally says something but never really says a word! The dun didn't even speak. He made a statement through his publicist. That means that she wrote the joint and he approved it. He wasn't even REAL enough to use his own voice and he made sure to stay in the middle of the road so that nobody accuses him of really havin' an opinion. I don't care where you fall on any subject bruh just fall and be a G about how you feel about it. I've got more respect for ole dull Charles Barkley than I do Mike because at least Chuck will say what he's really thinkin' even though he's talkin' crazy and sideways 99.9999 percent of the time. Especially, when it comes to race and culture. At least the dun has an opinion.

This cat's been quiet for 32 years and then shows up butt naked climbin' out of the birthday cake with some bread as a distraction. He half gives an opinion and throws some money on the table. So for the rest of the day the headlines read "Jordan gives a $1 million each!" Not "Jordan feels or Jordan says XYZ about this, that and the third!" Understand this pimpin', money spends but influence changes the world. Muhammad Ali could have told you that bruh if your would have been willin' to listen but you were too worried about "Republicans buyin' shoes too." Catch that one on your way home playa.

And all of these Jordan defenders keep sayin', "Well it's better late than never. He's always doin' things on the low bruh! He doesn't want the attention." Nobody cares that he's movin' in silence with whatever you say that he's been doin' for 32 years. His voice is what people need bruh. Why? Because it's louder than EVERYBODY else's.

Mike showin' up bearin' gifts after 32 years of silence and neglect is like the dead beat dad that was never there walkin' into his daughter's wedding with a brand new car. Let me put it where the goats can get it. She doesn't NEED the car bruh! She needed you there to teach her HOW to drive. She needed you there to help her when she was helpless with no voice of her own. She's grown now!

When cats needed the dun with more influence and power than any other black man livin' for the past three decades he wasn't there!! Now he finally shows up because boyz have been lookin' at him sideways because over the past few years it's been gettin' thick out here. We needed his influence and power to at least gets folks attention but he refused to stand up.

When unarmed black folks all over this country were bein' murdered by law enforcement officers that were actually sworn in to protect and serve we needed those with a platform to SAY SOMETHING. When duns were killin' each other in OUR hoods we needed their power of influence to SAY SOMETHING. When our police officers both black and white were bein' killed by some deranged idiots we NEEDED boyz to use their power of influence to SAY SOMETHING! Why? Because the most powerful voices get the most attention.

After cats like Muhammad Ali, Kareem, Jim Brown and their boyz put in work and used their platform to make life better for the next generation Mike stood on their shoulders and just got rich. Boyz stood in the door waitin' for him to pull up but he never did. So guess what playa some other cats took his place. Melo, LeBron, D Wade, CP3 and the lovely women of the WNBA stood up and ran with the torch. They risked more than anybody because they make far less bread than anyone of these duns.

The average salary in the WNBA is $72K bruh and they were willin' to give up $500 per fine for what they believed in. Mike's a billionaire and for the first time in 32 years he decides to mumble a few syllables and toss $2 million on the table and boyz go nuts. Which was the greater sacrifice?

But with Mike bein' Mike and not wantin' to be out done. He jumped out of a the plane butt naked with a half cocked opinion throwin' money on the stage like Pacman Jones. Stop me when I start lyin'!

Why the ladies of the WNBA get TALL RESPECT from REAL playas! "Say It Loud"

"CMB! WE ALL WE GOT!"
Dwight D. Eisenhower once said, "This world of ours... must avoid becoming a community of dreadful fear and hate, and be, instead, a proud confederation of mutual trust and respect." Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher, gave it to us like this, "When you are content to be simply yourself and don't compare or compete, everybody will respect you." Then Bryant G. McGill, the famous author, broke it down like a pimp at a playas convention when he spit, "One of the most sincere forms of respect is actually listening to what another has to say."

Well playas...the women of the WNBA get TALL RESPECT this mornin' from all the REAL G's and playas out here for simply bein' themselves!!! They not only used their platform to protest all of the foolishness goin' on in this country but spoke out even louder when the WNBA tried to silence their protest. Last week the league fined the Indiana Fever, New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury for wearin' all black warm up shirts in support of the Black Lives Matter Movement.

Well pimpin', on Saturday the WNBA president, Lisa Borders, issued a statement tellin' boyz that they were rescindin' the fines levied against both their teams and players. She went on to say, "While we expect players to comply with league rules and uniform guidelines, we also understand their desire to use their platform to address important societal issues. Given that the league will now be suspending play until August 26 for the Olympics, we plan to use this time to work with our players and their union on ways for the players to make their views known to their fans and the public."

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! If you're not a WNBA fan today you're a straight up SUCKA! What these women did last week was HUGE. Not just by puttin' on the shirts bruh! It was what they did AFTER a boy told them that they couldn't wear them is what needs to be respected!! The fact that they used their post-game interviews to only address the Black Lives Matter Movement and their disgust with the league was 100!!!! As a matter of fact, it was 1,000,000!!!!

Think about it bruh, the average salary in the WNBA is 72 racks!! The minimum rookie joint is $38K and the max boy for veterans is $106K! The league was about to unjustly hit these chicks for $500 a pop for wearin' a darn shirt in support of the black community when the normal out of uniform compliance fine is $200! So the fact that they were hittin' boyz for more than double the normal joint was a statement all to itself. But these ladies didn't just take the joints off an kept it movin'! They got even LOUDER!!

That's some real activism and I'm hooked on these ladies for lovin' themselves more than the WNBA. and the funky check. Big Momma always said that you've got to love yourself first before somebody else can love you back. In the famous words of the big homie, James Brown, "Say it loud!! I'm Black and I'm Proud!"

What a lot of boyz don't want you to know is that the reverend Al Sharpton told the press that his National Action Network would pay the ladies fines for bein' out of uniform because the joint was unacceptable. Melo stepped up again and showed his support for the WNBA like a G just like when he took out the full page in the New York Daily and when he spoke at the ESPY'S with LeBron, CP3 and D Wade to let boyz know how he felt about all of this foolishness! Props playa, props.

If you aren't buyin' tickets to the WNBA's remainin' games this season after this show of love for not only themselves but for the black community something is definitely wrong with you. Do you realize that 70 percent of the league is made up of black women? So it only made sense that they would be outraged at the league's refusal to allow them to express themselves on this issue.

Will somebody get Jordan on the phone and tell him to add these ladies to the list of people he could learn something from when it comes to speakin' out on social issues. How about speakin' out on ANYTHING bruh. While EVERYBODY else in the game of basketball was busy expressin' themselves about the frustration of havin' to tell idiots in this country that Black Lives DO Matter. Jordan was busy gearin' up to drop another shoe that looks like a joint he dropped more than 20 years ago. Yeah, he got the people out of the house alright but it was only for his benefit. He's the lame that everybody gives a pass. Instead of buyin' Jordan's next time buy some WNBA tickets and wear your all black shirts to let these ladies know you're down with them. Stop me when I start lyin'!

Why America SHOULD have been anxious long before Dallas bruh! "Empathy"

"We're ALL the same and we're ALL God's people!"
Annie Lennox, the Scottish singer, once said, "Humankind seems to have an enormous capacity for savagery, for brutality, for lack of empathy, for lack of compassion." Daniel Goleman, the famous author and psychologist, gave it to us like this, "If your emotional abilities aren't in hand, if you don't have self-awareness, if you are not able to manage your distressing emotions, if you can't have empathy and have effective relationships, then no matter how smart you are, you are not going to get very far." Then Alice Miller, the Swiss psychologist, put it where the goats could get it when she spit, "Learning is a result of listening, which in turn leads to even better listening and attentiveness to the other person. In other words, to learn from the child, we must have empathy, and empathy grows as we learn."

Well playas...empathy has shown up today in America butt naked and forcin' EVERYBODY to take a chill pill whether they wanted to or not. We started last week with two white police officers shootin' and killin' two African-American men in separate incidents that were completely unjustified. Then some idiot figured he was solvin' our problem by shootin' and killin' 5 white policemen in Dallas. COMPLETE IDIOT!!! Then we had some fools literally losin' their minds by shootin' policemen in Tennessee, Georgia and Missouri. Now we're all standin' around lookin' at each other tryin' to figure out how we got here.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! What blows my mind is that all of the headlines this mornin' keep readin' "America is Anxious" or that "America is on Edge!" The sad part about this anxiety is that America is feelin' this way today because it didn't become real until people that looked like the majority of America were unfortunately and tragically affected.

It's sad that no one cares about the death of a human being until that human being looks just like them. ALL deaths at the hands of someone else SHOULD matter to ALL of us whenever it happens. Black men and women have been dyin' at the hands of police for years and even decades in this country and the mainstream media as well as the vast majority of Americans move on because those people don't live in their neighborhoods, go to their churches or attend their kid's schools. So they see it but they can't identify with it so it's not important to them.

Unfortunately, the vast majority of America is rural. If you travel as much as I do around this country you would see that most people in America don't live in urban areas and most people don't have relationships with black people. Not because they don't want to, it's because they've never had to because of where they grew up and chose to live. So therefore, when things happen in the black community they can't identify with it nor does it become real to them. Why? Because they don't know anybody that lives in those communities.

If folks that were gay, lesbian or transgender were bein' killed by white police at the same rate as black folks. EVERYBODY would identify with them because everybody knows and has a real relationship with someone that's gay, lesbian or transgender. Why? Because bein' gay, lesbian or transgender isn't confined to race. Then all of this foolishness would have become real to them long ago.

America is no more anxious today than black men were two days, two years or 200 years ago. Welcome to my world bruh! America wasn't anxious when black folks were enslaved for more than 350 years! America wasn't anxious when black families were terrorized by the Ku Klux Klan for decades! America wasn't anxious when black men were lynched, tarred and feathered for sport! America wasn't anxious when Emmit Till was beaten for simply lookin' at a white woman and his body was unrecognizable to his OWN mother! America wasn't anxious when duns like Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X were both assassinated! America wasn't anxious when Treyvon Martin, Eric Gardner, Sandra Bland, Alton Stirling, Philando Castile and hundreds others were killed for no justifiable reason! America only became anxious when 5 white police officers were killed in Dallas and that's a shame.

It shouldn't take the deaths of people that only look like you for you to become anxious! We're ALL God's children, we ALL bleed red, we ALL have families and friends that love us and WE'RE ALL AMERICANS regardless of our color, race or religion. If one of us is killed unjustly we ALL should be anxious to correct the systemic problems that create an environment for this foolishness to exist. I'm just sayin'! Stop me when I start lyin'!

The REAL reason why this country is in CHAOS today bruh! "No Love"

"C'mon y'all! We gotta do better!"
H. Jackson Brown Jr., the famous author, once said, "Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye." Mother Teresa gave it to us like this, "Spread love everywhere you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier." Then the biggest homie of all homies, Jesus Christ, broke it down so that it would be forever broken when he spit, "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another."

Well playas...over the past 72 hours we've seen just the opposite of what Jesus has commanded us to do! There has been no love for one another as it relates to the two police shootings in Baton Rouge and in Minnesota. Then as people are exercisin' their first and second amendment rights to protest some stark ravin' maniacs killed 5 police officers that were simply protectin' the people!! It's straight up madness out here bruh!

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Two wrongs don't make a right!! And darn sure killin' 5 police officers don't make it right! If anything, it makes it even more dangerous out here in these streets. We've got to get to point in this country where ALL people are treated fairly. We've got to get to a point where black men don't feel like the hunted when confronted by the police and the police aren't a nervous wreck pullin' a boy over.

I'm 49 years old and when I see the police lights behind me even if the dun isn't followin' me directly my anxiety races 100mph. Why? Because too many people that look like me are dyin' at the hands of the police durin' minor traffic stops when my white brothers can literally get out of the car, curse the cop out, fight with him or pull a gun on a boy and still be able to call his family the next day.

Enough is enough bruh but killin' cops is not the answer! Why? Because not all cops are bad. Not all police officers are lookin' to do harm to the people that they've sworn to protect and serve! Ninety five percent of them are simply lookin' to do their jobs and go home to their families at night just like you and I! So don't be ignorant enough to believe that startin' a war with law enforcement makes sense. Why? Because they've got more guns and trainin' than your dumb butt does. And that's the edited version.

And for all of the idiots that are offended by the protests with the monicker #BlackLivesMatter let me put it where the goats can get it. Just because the campaign says #BlackLivesMatter doesn't mean that ALL other lives don't matter! You sound stupid tryin' to  even argue that point. It's an emphasis on the reality of "some" police in this country killin' black folks as if those lives don't matter to "those" officers. When you act like they "don't" matter there has to be an emphasis put on where the problem is bruh. When year after year, month after month and day after day we see black men and women bein' killed by the police in situations that shouldn't lead to death it's a problem. So to reinforce that #BlackLivesMatter is important. We've gotta love another!

When we celebrate Breast Cancer Awareness Month and everybody puts on their pink in October we aren't sayin' that ALL of the other cancers aren't important! When November roles around and it's Diabetes Awareness month we aren't sayin' that ALL other chronic diseases aren't important. When duns put together a Gay Pride Parade they aren't sayin' that heterosexuals aren't important. They're only emphasizin' the importance of those movements because they can simply identify with them.

For ANYONE to sit back on their high horse and denounce any of these movements or celebrations is a direct indication of just how ignorant and insensitive people can really be. Again, where is the love and empathy that should be shown to the people in pain? While the nation is mourning with the families of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile they should also be mourning the loss of 5 Dallas police officers too. And while your playin', we need to be prayin' for the 6 other cops that are fightin' for their lives today too. It's called love!

If we learn to love one another in this country we wouldn't have to protest foolishness every 3 months because there wouldn't be anything to protest! But as long as we have ignorant and racist people that like to keep mess goin' we'll keep dealin' with this type of foolishness. As soon as something like this happens you have the idiots that will say, "Why aren't black folks upset when blacks kill black? Why are you mad now that the cop killed them?" That statement alone says that I see no value in the lives of black people. That's why everybody and their baby's momma was upset that the Cincinnati Zoo killed a gorilla but very few are thinkin' about the black men killed by the police several days ago.

Let me address the point of boyz  sayin' blacks kill blacks. First of all, the duns in the streets didn't swear to an oath to protect and serve the people. So let's deal with the facts! Boyz wanna always throw out the stat that says that 93 percent of all black homicides are committed by other blacks. But what they don't tell you is that 83 percent of all white homicides were committed by other whites. Why? Because people tend to get into arguments and fights with people that look like them because ethnicities typically run together. If the Italian cat gets into a fight at the bar with someone, the person he more likely than not is fightin' and beefin' with looks like him. Why? Because it's the Italian bar that all of the Italians in the neighborhood frequent. No different than the black cat beefin' with the dude down the street in the all black neighborhood that they both live in.

Listen to me bruh, all people want in this country is to be treated fairly and that includes black males of all ages too!! But in order to do that we ALL have to start loving one another regardless of race and socioeconomic status! When you see injustice anywhere you've got to call it out. Stop stickin' your head in the sand when you see this foolishness and please stop makin' insensitive remarks and comments on social media because the person killed doesn't look like you. This isn't just a black issue because we all have to live here together. Again, it called love.

So whatever effects me effects you at some point. Whether you wanna admit it or not we're tied together at the hip out here. There never would have been a protest in Dallas if boyz loved each other in Baton Rouge and in Minnesota in the first place. Those 5 police officers would have been somewhere else workin' or even at home with their families last night and the idiot that shot them never would have been given the opportunity to do so. See how that works bruh? Love will cure all of this foolisness if you would just follow Jesus' command! Stop me when I start lyin'!

I could have talked sports this mornin' but it wasn't important.
