A Wash (Why the carjacking of Miami makes the Pacers loss to Golden State edible)

"In my Puff Daddy voice, Take that! Take that!"
George Bernard Shaw once said, “In a battle all you need to make you fight is a little hot blood and the knowledge that it’s more dangerous to lose than to win.” Margaret Thatcher had boyz scratching their heads with, “You may have to fight a battle more than once to win it.” Then ole dull Donald Trump finally said something that I agreed with when he dropped, “Sometimes by losing the battle you find a new way to win the war.”

On Tuesday night the Indiana Pacers lost a battle at the crib to the Golden State Warriors 98-96. With 0.6 left to play Klay Thompson dropped a sweet 12-foot turnaround jumper to put the Pacers in a body bag for the night.

Ole boy was a beast down the stretch so you already knew that Mark Jackson was going to him in the closing seconds. He unloaded 16 of his 25 into the driver side door of the Pacers Hum V in the final 12 minutes bruh! The cats from Indy simply had no answer for him!

The boyz from the Bay area must have been speaking in some ole E40 confusion because they were lethal from behind the arc all night making 10 of 20 (50%) of those joints. The Pacers obviously couldn’t understand that foolishness because they were 3 of 16 (18%) from the same spot.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! It was a straight up war out there bruh! The usual suspects in Indy posted up in the bunker and took their best shots. The only problem was that the freakin’ bench pulled a Roy Hibbert on a boy and didn’t get out of the tank. They pulled a Harlem Nights and every time Golden State unloaded a flurry of bullets they would fire a single shot. They only managed 11 points in all of the madness.

David West was a beast as he unloaded 27; Paul George hit these cats with 26 and grabbed 12 coming through the roof. The Don Dada Mr. # BornReady himself added 12 and threw 9 dimes into the window to flush them out. Even ole dull Roy Hibbert’s car sittin’ butt got out and gave ‘em 12!

Even though Klay put the deadly shot into the temple with 0.6 left to play, keep in mind that it was only one battle and the war is still ongoing. The great thing about this loss is that it essentially never happened. It was like a dream playboy because the Miami Heat got carjacked in Houston trying to get some Frenchy’s Chicken down in the Third Ward. The “Geto Boyz” down there caught ‘em sittin’ in the ride in front of the joint celebrating that 61 LeBron unleashed on Charlotte the night before and they took everything. They got the jewelry, sneakers and the even the chicken. So last night was a wash all the way around pimpin'.

Therefore, the Pacers still hold on to a two game lead in the East. On some real talk, even though they took a bullet they dodged one all in the same night. It’s a marathon not a sprint playa. Losses only hurt when the duns around you are winning. It’s all about jockeying for position for home court advantage, not losing to some duns from Golden State. Like I keep saying, every night the Pacers are playing the Heat not the duns on the schedule. Stop me when I start lyin’!
