"Thanks for helping us get this money but we don't need you anymore!" |
Tennessee Williams, the famous playwright, once said, “The only thing worse than a liar is a liar that’s also a hypocrite!” Charles Spurgeon, the British Baptist preacher, broke it down like this, “Sincerity makes the very least person to be of more value than the most talented hypocrite.” Then William Hazlitt, the 19th century English writer, was a G for saying, “A hypocrite despises those whom he deceives, but has no respect for himself. He would make a dupe of himself too, if he could.”
The University of Florida is now doing what the NCAA has continued to do for years, being a straight up hypocrite. In late June the Gators began removing photographs and images of Aaron Hernandez from its football facility once he was charged with murder. Then on last Thursday they removed the final piece of Hernandez’s legacy from the school. They literally dug up the brick that acknowledges him as a first team All-American in 2009 that sits in front of Ben Hill Griffin Stadium more affectionately known as “The Swamp.”
Now let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Aaron Hernandez is a straight up thug and is sitting in jail right now on a murder charge. You can’t get away from those facts playboy! However, the only reason that his pictures and images were hanging up in the football facility at the Swamp is because of what he did on the field not for being a good citizen.
The only reason that he was at the University of Florida was because of his ability to play football not because he had some sense. On some real talk, ole boy stayed in trouble while he was at Florida but they were winning with him on the field so they kept his ignorant butt on it. So now that they’ve got no use for him they can get rid of his images like he never even existed.
If they felt that strongly about boyz being good citizens coming through the program then they should dismiss them all together when they get into trouble. Since we're talking turkey playboy, they knew he was fool when they recruited him. So don't act like you got some morals now that he's jumped all the way out of the birthday cake on you. Nobody saw him allegedly committing a murder but he had the potential to commit murder because he was already pulling guns and shooting at boyz as a freshman. So don't start acting brand new now! C'mon bruh!!
Here’s the ultimate hypocrisy in it all bruh! They aren’t giving back any of the bread that Hernandez helped the school make or the national title either. If they really want to show me that they wanna get rid of his memory go calculate the amount of money that he helped them bring into the program and give it to the victim’s family and throw that crystal ball away. Oh yeah, give that $17 million dollars from the BCS bowl back and all the bread you made off of his jersey sales in the bookstore while he was there too. Otherwise, all they’re doing is showboating.
It's like Big Momma disowning her son for selling drugs after he gets locked up. She refuses to go to visit him and removes all of his pictures from the crib but while he was ballin' she was hood rich. She's watching an 85" flat screen & sittin' on a $10,000 couch pushin' a brand new whip living in the projects but now she doesn't know a boy? That's Florida right now playboy!
Here's the kicker bruh, ole boy didn’t get charged with murder until after he left the university not while he was there. They’re pharaoh now huh? “Let it be known that from this day forward the name of Aaron Hernandez shall never be spoken of again and he shall be stricken from all of the history books in Gainesville” like they did Moses.
So what you’re telling me is that if a dun gets charged with a crime 5 years after he graduates from Florida they’re going to take his degree back? That’s asinine to even think that way. People get into trouble later in life and yes, some duns do commit murder. However, this cat hasn’t been convicted of anything yet.
Are they going to go back through every All-American that has ever played at Florida and pull their criminal arrest record! Not conviction record, arrest record, because this cat has yet to be convicted of anything. If you do it to Hernandez then you've got to do it for everybody else playboy. Let's say a cat graduates as a Rhodes Scholar and then 20 years later goes on a crime spree. You can't act like he never went to your school and was a Rhodes Scholar while he was there. What he did later in life has nothing to do with what he was able to accomplish at your school.
Now I’m not ridin’ with Hernandez per say, I’m ridin’ for the cause of doing what’s right. Am I defending an alleged murderer for being a murderer? Not at all! I'm defending the right thing to do with a players legacy at the university. If he was an All-American at Florida then he was an All-American at Florida. You can’t act like he wasn’t. We all saw him play there. It’s like when USC tried to tell us that O.J. Simpson wasn’t who he was to them. Then ole boy got off. Now we know that fool did it but he was acquitted. Now what?
Let’s say Hernandez beats these charges and walks free like ole dull Zimmerman did. Then what? Are the Gators going to put all of the pictures back and dig another whole in front of the stadium and put the brick back? I’m just sayin’! One thing is sho and two for certain, they aren’t going to touch the bread that he made them either way playboy. Straight up hypocrites!
Holla At Ya Boy!
