"For the homie's that ain't here!" |
Well, the Chicago Bulls aren’t the majority of men bruh! The boyz from the Chi were essentially on the ropes the entire first round with injuries and sickness. However, they persevered like some real G’s to push a game 7 in Brooklyn only to come out of the joint with a 99-93 win to move on to the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals to take on the Miami Heat.
Joakim Noah still playing on a bad foot brought 24 points and 14 rebounds to the party. Marco Belinelli kicked in the back door with another 24 points as Carlos Boozer came through with a 17 pack for boyz to sip on. While Nate the Great continued to be the fire that kept boyz going.
The more I watch this team play the more I fall in love with their work ethic. With cats like Nate the Great throwing up in garbage cans on the side lines in Game 6 and Luol Deng being sick and not playing in Game 7. Not to mention Joakim playing with plantar fasciitis throughout the series. Did I forget about Kirk Hinrich battling a bruised calf during the joint and finally sitting out Game 7? Boyz just keep stepping up though.
This team is full of warriors bruh except for the green elephant sitting in the punch bowl with pink booties on! Derrick “Cotton Candy” Rose is still "Chillaxin" as his homie's continue to fight for their lives. Did you see that dun’s pre-game interview with ESPN’s Shelly Smith? She asked him how he feels about the other guys playing sick and injured and this dun tells her it’s about the big picture and he won’t play until he’s COMFORTABLE!
Big picture? Comfortable? How big picture can it be right now playboy? Your team is in the playoffs scrappin’ with some G’s in an alley with boyz dropping like flies and all you can do is watch? You’ve already got darn near $300 million in guaranteed bread in the bank between the Bulls $95 million joint and the Adidas $200 million joint. That IS the big picture! Now you just play. The only reason cats don’t take chances in professional sports is because they’re concerned about not getting paid if they get hurt before the big contract comes in. Well, that joint has been signed sealed and delivered bruh!
Listen playboy, those are the two biggest contracts you’re EVER going to see. Now you gotta play! There is no promise that this same team will be together next year etc. The time is now. If the medical staff has cleared you to play darn near two months ago then it should have been game time two months ago pimipin’! You're job is to play basketball! If you're healthy you gotta go to work!
Here we go again. I can hear the Derrick Rose and delusional Bulls fans screaming, “He shouldn’t come back until he’s comfortable. We can’t win the championship this year anyway!” Well nobody has given that memo to the G’s in that locker room. They’re playing like they’ve got a shot and they do. There are no guarantees in sports bruh! You gotta play the games and let the chips fall where they may. The only guarantee is that the Bulls won’t win the title if everybody doesn’t show up to work.
Sure, Miami has the best team but anything can happen. Just like the Bulls have been hit with sickness and injuries, it could happen to the Heat too, you never know. Ask ole Russell Westbrook and the Black Mamba if it can. Derrick Rose has done his teammates, the fans and the city of Chicago a grave injustice by taking their bread and not even trying to play.
I bet individual teams and the NBA will start putting new clauses in contracts now written in their Big Momma voice, “If you healthy and them people are paying you, you better take yo “A” ta work and I mean that! Don’t let me take my shoe off and come in there!”

It’s too late now because it’s the playoffs and he’s not in any game shape to jump out there now let alone playoff shape. But two months ago he should have been running 10 minutes a game and increasing those joints and he’d be ballin’ by now.
Like I said before, both Sean Elliott and Alonzo Mourning came back from kidney transplants. Elliot returned to the floor in 7 months and Mourning in 10 months. Iman Shumpert from the Knicks suffered the SAME exact injury as Rose on the SAME day and he’s been playing for 2 months. So don’t tell me that this dun is still hurt. He’s hurt in the head and they call that being soft where I’m from.
Now he's from Chicago but he doesn't have Chicago DNA I'll tell you that. I'm from G.I. only 15 minutes away and it's the same place. So I know what Chi-town DNA is supposed to look like and it's ride or die for your homeboys especially if you're healthy.
Jordan would be playing! Kobe would be playing! LeBron would have no other choice but to be playing! Competitors compete that’s all I’m sayin’!
