The arrogance of American sports media has blown my mind this week with all of the hatin' of Usain Bolt and the Jamaican sprinters. Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Those boyz completely carjacked the American sprinters, ate their lunch and left them on the side of the road without shoes! I know that Americans are accustomed to being at the top of the food chain in basketball and track & field in the Olympics but the Jamaicans ain't playin' on the oval right now so give them their props bruh!
Even Carl Lewis couldn't take the fact that Bolt is giving it to boyz like this! He especially hated on my man by saying this, "Countries like
Now unless Bolt comes up dirty you can't hate on him bruh! He's kicking the Americans in the pants and it is what it is. Lewis must have forgotten that he came up dirty 3 times during his career. So to put a boy on blast is like the cat that gets caught while playing hide and seek because his butt was sticking out of the bushes then tells the other cats hiding with him that they caught US. Naw bruh, YOU got caught!!! We're still in the bushes.
Many of the American sports journalists started ridin' with Lewis because Bolt put him on blast by saying that he had no respect for him. Now all of a sudden boyz are attacking Bolt as being arrogant because he said what was real! They're mad that he does the lightening bolt pose after he puts it down. I think that it's great marketing and he's created a brand for himself. Isn't that what he's supposed to do? Don't hate the playa hate the game bruh!
Usain completely jumped on boyz in the Olympics and ran a 9.63 100 meters and his boy Yohan Blake put up a 9.75! He also tossed up a 19.32 200 meter (which wasn’t even his personal best of 19.19) and Blake a 19.44! Then all of a sudden some duns on ESPN NFL Live brought up the question, "Could he play in the NFL?" Once again bruh, that's a clown question and shows American arrogance/jealousy. We want to be on top so bad that we come up with stupid scenarios to keep us in control. Bolt hasn't said anything about playing football. He runs track so let it be! The cat is from
I heard Tennessee Titans running back, Chris Johnson, say this week that he could beat Bolt in the 40 yard dash! Then on ESPN Around the Horn some clown said, "Well, can he long jump like Carl Lewis did?" Listen up geniuses, he's an Olympic Gold medalist in the 100 and 200 meters, twice! He doesn't run the 40 yard dash, he doesn't long jump nor does he play American football! Stop bringing up stupid scenarios because it makes you look like a jealous idiot! He's the freaking man until somebody beats him or he turns up dirty! Now if neither of those two knock on the door in our lifetime, shut up and listen to my man William Penn and stop tormenting yourselves! I'm 100% American but I can clearly see that Usain Bolt is the freaking man! Give him his props or shut up!!

Well Said Bruh!I'm for American sports all the way but there is a certain American arrogance/jealousy that has some sort of comparison always sticking it's head up when someone better isn't from this country. I'm American having been born here but my parents are Jamaican so I relate to everything you said. I rooted for everything we did as a country except in the 100 & 200 where my original roots surfaced. I'm glad you are pointing out facts to people I hope everyone reads this article.
ReplyDeleteI'm for American sports all the way but I absolutely agree the we have that deep American arrogance/jealousy always comparing folks to things we do and they don't. Bolt plain and simple is better than the rest period. I rooted for everything American but having come from Jamaican roots my heritage made me lean towards Bolt in his events not because of where he's from I an in awe of his talent. Like JG said "Give the man his Props"
ReplyDeleteLewis needs to recognise that Usain has NOT tested positive since he has bolted onto the scene. His comment about Jamaica nit having a drugs program is way off the mark and not true. Jamaica have a very rigorous test program . Lewis just can't stand the fact that there is a new legend on the block.
