How Monta Ellis REALLY believed in Santa and tried to tell boyz that he didn't! "Turtle"

"You gotta unhanse that playa!"
Jesus Christ once said, "Do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day." Lucius Annaeus Seneca, the ancient Roman Stoic philosopher,  gave it to us like this, "True happiness is... to enjoy the present, without anxious dependence upon the future." Then Ann Morrow Lindbergh, the famous author and poet, broke it down like a G holdin' court in the projects when she spit, "The sea does not reward those who are too anxious, too greedy, or too impatient. One should lie empty, open, choiceless as a beach - waiting for a gift from the sea."

Well playas...Monta Ellis wouldn't listen to ole girl because he was so anxious to play his old team that he ran out in the middle of traffic and couldn't purposely get hit by a car in the first half. Now he tried to play us media-types like it was just another game leadin' up to this joint but we knew that it wasn't. And on Wednesday night in the first half it was evident. The Pacers did eventually walk out of the joint after strugglin' early with a 107-81 blastin' of ole boy'z former team, the Dallas Mavericks.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Like I said earlier, this dun, Monta, tried to play a boy like it wasn't a big deal that the Mavs were comin' to town like the kid that tries to tell a boy that he no longer believes in Santa but leaves cookies on the counter for him. He couldn't sleep the night before and as a matter of fact, he probably slept in his freakin' uniform!

Why do I think so? Because the dun came out of the gate shootin' in the first half and couldn't hit water if he'd fallin' out of a boat! He couldn't hit the side of a barn in Shelbyville. He couldn't hit an elephant in the butt with a bass fiddle! And that's the edited version playa! Ole boy went 0-8 from the field forcin' shots and 0-1 from 3-point range in the first half sweatin' like a bull frog in a sauna with a turtle neck sweater on with the turtle in it.

It wasn't until he decided to calm his happy butt down and let the game come to him like ole girl said about lyin' empty, open, choiceless as a beach and waitin' for a gift from the sea. Finally with 9 minutes left in the 3rd quarter he got a boy to fall and it was Chris Brown after that. "On and Poppin'!"  He finally knocked down a baseline jumper turned and look at the duns on Dallas' bench and he suddenly stopped sweatin' to get buckets. Then he stole a boy at mid-court for an easy layup. On the very next possession he finished a fast break off of a Dallas turnover. Six straight points fell in a boy'z lap to get him goin' after he was out there lookin' like Bugaloo from Above the Rim in the first half.

Ole boy finished the night with 19 points and his dignity as the rest of the fellas jumped out of the whip to handle their business too. C.J. Miles, a south Dallas native, drove the ride with 20 points and 7 rebounds. PG13 came through with 19 and 7 for a boy. While Rodney Stuckey dropped off a 12-pack and 7 pieces of glassware too! What's up with all of these cats gettin' 7 rebounds bruh? George Hill capped off the night with 11 Pipers piping as the Pacers beat the brakes off of the Monta's former team. Now that dun can sleep tonight and take off that turtle neck sweater and give the freakin' turtle back to the Indianapolis Zoo this mornin'. Stop me when I start lyin'!
