Petty (Why Knicks fan have the unmitigated gall to be upset with Phil Jackson)

As I jumped on the train from Brooklyn headed back to Manhattan, I overheard these cats in the back discussin’ the art of deception. Leonardo da Vinci stood up and said, “The greatest deception men suffer is from their own opinions.” John Ruskin, the 19^th century English art critic, shouted, “The essence of lying is in the deception, not in words,” just as he got off of the joint. Then Xun Zi, the ancient Chinese philosopher, shut the buildin’ down when he said, “The petty man is eager to make boasts, yet desires that others should believe in him. He enthusiastically engages in deception, yet wants others to have affection for him. He conducts himself like an animal, yet wants others to think well of him.”

Well playas…it sounds like Xun Zi must have been listenin’ to Phil Jackson tryin’ to convince New York fans to keep buyin’ dull Knicks season tickets! Why? Because that dun enthusiastically engaged in deception this year, yet he wants others to have affection for him. He conducted himself like an animal when he took the freakin’ job, yet he wants others to think well of him.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! I should be writin’ about the Pacers losin’ to the Nets this mornin’ but why playa? They lost the freakin’ game and now they’re a game out of the 8^th spot behind both Brooklyn and Boston who are tied for the 8^th. Brooklyn has a better winnin’ percentage so they’re technically sittin’ at No.8 if the playoffs started today! Got it? Let’s move on.

It’s more fun to talk about the dull Knicks and how Phil suckered them into believin’ that he was the savior and they fell for it hook, line and sinker! I told boyz in the barber shop when they hired that dun that he was out for a money grab and boyz told me that I was hatin’! Now that they are the worst freakin’ team in the league y’all wanna sit around the camp fire and hear what the O.G. has to say now.

Well sit down fools and open ya ears! The great Phil Jackson took a Knicks team that won 37 games last year and morphed them into a beast that has won a mere 14 this year! THE WORST RECORD IN THE NBA!!!! Now he’s pleadin’ with boyz to hold on, be optimistic, buy these dull tickets because I promise I’ll wash my hands after I take a dump in the middle of the floor next year.

I told you boyz that Phil was out for a money grab in the first place but you were blinded by the 11 rings as a coach and 2 as a player. Guess what pimpin’? He wasn’t goin’ to coach or play! So what made you think that that dun was gonna just walk into a job that he’s NEVER done before and be successful at it. Phil has been tryin’ to hustle boyz for years. He stepped to LA a few years ago and asked a boy for $15 million to coach half of the season. He said out loud where people could actually hear it and I’ll paraphrase playa, “I want $15 million to coach all of the home games bruh!” Buss and Co. told him to kick rocks so he searched around for a sucka and found the desperate New York Knicks to pay him $12 million a year when they knew that they had no draft picks.

Not only did they hire the dun and give him a boat load of cash but they were cool with him tellin’ them that he was only gonna be in town half of the time. Why? Because he was gonna be in LA kickin’ it with his girl. Man I can’t make this up bruh!

Now Knicks fans like Stephen A. Smith have the unmitigated gall to be upset because Phil sent a video message out beggin’ boyz to keep believin’ in the foolishness that’s goin’ on at Madison Square Garden!

Dude! The Knicks as a franchise is trash and has always been for over 40 years! It’s in the largest media market in the world and has always had marquee players but they have the wrong cats playin’ together. The Knicks haven’t been worth two dead flies smashed since Phil won championships with them in 1972 and ’73! Well OK, they were good when Patrick Ewing was in town. But stop this foolishness! James Dolan has been suckerin’ Knicks fans to buy those wack tickets for years and you weren’t upset. It’s the Knicks bruh!

Did you really think that because Phil was in town they would be better! You don’t win game through osmosis bruh! You’ve actually got to put in work and the team president can’t be kickin’ it with his girl and workin’ part-time. C’mon bruh! So stop the song and dance and look at it for what it is.

The Knick are one of the worst ran franchises in the HISTORY of professional sports. So don’t begin to act like you’re mad that they suck! They just suck now more than ever before. They’ve always been in the bushes. Now they’re feet are just stickin’ out! Stop me when I start lyin’!
