Delusional (Why it makes ABSOLUTELY no sense to leave school early for the WNBA)

Well playas…that all sounds good when you’re completely changin’ the freakin’ world with technology and makin’ billions of dollars in the process. However, when you’re makin’ decisions about your future that don’t make sense you need to listen to duns that know more than you. Last week Notre Dame Women’s basketball standout, Jewell Loyd, announced that she was declarin’ early for the WNBA draft! You heard that right playa the WNBA draft not the NBA draft! For all of you simple minded individuals that means that she’s droppin’ out of school to go pro. On Thursday she was selected No.1 overall by the Seattle Storm. Sounds great right?

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! Bein’ selected No.1 overall isn’t worth two dead flies smashed in the WNBA bruh! She may as well have gotten a regular job. Why because they don’t make any money relative to the NBA. So it doesn’t make sense to leave school early to play. Especially, if you’re goin’ to Notre Dame on a full ride! It costs more to go to ND than she’ll make her first 2 or 3 years in the freakin’ WNBA!

It costs more than 60 racks to go to Notre Dame and this chick left to make about 47 in the WNBA! The average salary in that league is $75K while the league minimum for rookies is set just above $38K. Because she was the No.1 overall pick they’ll pay her more than the average cat. Keep in mind that Brittney Griner, a legitimate SUPERSTAR in women’s basketball only made 49 racks playin’ in Phoenix her rookie year! Now granted she picked up another 600 stacks playin’ in China and another million from Nike! But Britney is a Phenom bruh that stands 6’8” and she stayed at Baylor all 4 years!!!! She didn’t bounce early because there were no guarantees.

Jewell can hoop but leavin’ Notre Dame to make 47 stacks is crazy! Then ole girl Kate Fagan, a columnist for ESPNW.com uses both Candice Parker and Kelsey Bone as examples of duns leavin’ early but they both graduated in 3 years. There was no reason to stay. Then she tries to justify Jewell leavin’ early as the next step in women’s basketball. What is she smokin’ bruh? The next step of what? Unless cats start makin’ more bread and guaranteed bread at that, nobody is gonna leave school early but duns that are delusional.

She goes on to compare ole girl leavin’ early to the 7 duns at Kentucky leavin’ for the NBA! Stop it right there bruh! This chick needs her pen revoked and should have her mouth duck taped for even mentionin’ the two scenarios in the same breath. Boyz goin’ to the NBA and bein’ selected in the in the first round are gettin’ guaranteed bread and will make millions GUARANTEED!

And on some real talk, the Harrison twins are delusional for leavin’ too! If they were pros they would already be in the pros! Throw Yogi Ferrell in there too. That dun is about to announce his intentions to go pro and he’s nowhere near bein’ an NBA guard. They are at best second rounder’s that will get no guaranteed money and they’ll probably be in the D-League this time next year. The same cat advisin’ them must be hollerin’ at ole girl too.

So even if the cats that go in the first round (NBA) don’t pan out they’ll make enough money to go back to school if they want to. Then Kate brings up how ole girl can make probably another 200 stacks playin’ overseas. Ok bruh, that isn’t a guarantee but for the sake of argument let’s say that she can. So she’ll possibly make a quarter million next year. Is makin’ a quarter million with no guarantees worth her leavin’ Notre Dame early without a degree when they were gonna pay for it?

It’s not like she was at Ivy Tech or Jo Jo’s Junior College in Boo Boo, Kansas somewhere. She was at Notre Dame for cryin’ out loud bruh! She dumped 60 racks to make 47 and you’re tryin’ to tell me that that makes sense?

If that makes sense to you then you need to back away from the table slowly, put the weed down, take the rubber band off of your arm, lay the spoon, lighter and syringe down, put the pills down where I can see your hands, wipe your nose and relax. Boyz will be in shortly to put you in a strait jacket and take you away. They won’t hurt you; they’re only here to help you. Trust me on that playa and we haven't even talked about the possibility of a career endin' injury. Stop me when I start lyin’!
