The Monster (Why the Pacers had Lob City bumpin' that Eminem Saturday night)

"Y'all can take that wit cha playboy!"
As I was walking into Bankers Life Fieldhouse the cats outside scalping tickets got into a fight about getting into a boyz head! Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher, said, “Love is of all passions the strongest, for it attacks simultaneously the head, the heart and the senses.” Nelson Mandela threw his joints down and said, “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” Then Langston Hughes, the famous poet, picked Nelson’s joints up, put them in his pocket and said, “Let the rain kiss you. Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops. Let the rain sing you a lullaby.”

Then Paul George took it from there and sang the Los Angeles Clippers a lullaby with a 360 windmill to essentially nail the coffin shut on a 106-92 beat down! From the word go the Pacers jumped into the Clippers heads like a psychiatrist and wouldn’t get out. By the time the joint was over they were bumpin’ that Eminem “The Monster” because the Clippers were gettin’ along with the voices inside of their heads! "We're just flat out better than you and there's nothing you can do to change that playa! Oh yeah, tell ya momma I said wassup too!"

Lob City came into Bankers Life on a 5 game winning streak, averaging 114 points per game and after putting on a show on Broadway to embarrass the Knicks the night before they hit the wall. When they stepped on the floor in Indy boyz dove into their heads like a Katy Perry hook bruh!

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Mr. Born Ready, Lance Stephenson or like I call him, “The Don DaDa” had Jamal Crawford going nuts most of the night. That dun was talking in his language and Jamal kept trying to respond but kept making bad plays. At one point Lance hit him with a “Get ya weight up son” power move to the rack and ole boy tried to respond on the other end and was called for the charge! It was bananas how he was controlling that cat’s head.

At the break David West had simply had enough of Blake Griffin irritating boyz with his "leaning on you after the play" move which he’s notorious for. So he straight up cold cocked him and walked off. Was he justified in hitting him? Naw! But did all of the homies in the barber shop completely understand? Absolutely! Because every now and then you gotta let a boy know. I’m quite sure the fellas will ante up and pay the fine because that’s what boyz do.

Did the Pacers trip? Not at all, because they’ve got enough cats ready to get it in, so they just got it in playboy! Paul George hit ‘em up for 36 points as the Don DaDa put 22 in the shopping cart, grabbed 12 rebounds and threw 7 dimes. While Danny Granger was standing in the produce department putting up 12 as he recorded his ninth double figure game in 14 appearances this season. C.J. Watson just keeps baking those fire rolls with the duns in the bakery as he put up 11 to keep it movin’! Roy Hibbert got into to foul trouble by the fourth quarter and had to chill but not before doin’ damage in the blocks department with 5 and grabbing 11 boards.

Dwight D. Eisenhower once said, “You don’t lead by hitting people over the head – that’s assault, not leadership.” Well…ole Dwight has never seen the Pacers play because David West made a statement on Saturday night pimpin’! He told the Clippers and the rest of the league in his Puff Daddy voice, “We ain’t go-in nowhere!” Stop me when I start lyin’!
