In my Ice Cube voice, "Once again it's on! Known to break 'em somethin'! Give it ta me!" |
William Shakespeare said, “If you prick us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge? Ole Frank Sinatra put his cigarette and scotch down and said, “The best revenge is massive success.” Then Meir Kahane poured out a lil’ liquor for all the dead homies and said, “No trait is more justified than revenge in the right time and place.”
In 2007 a young 22 year old LeBron James took some bums to the Finals in Cleveland as they played the San Antonio Spurs and got the breaks beat off of him in a 4 game sweep. Not only did the Spurs dust the joint with his Cavaliers, they celebrated on LeBron’s home floor afterwards! That’s like a boy coming to your crib, taking your wife and making you toast their new relationship in your own kitchen.
So ever since that moment LeBron has been thinking about how it felt and has been looking for revenge. On some real talk, LeBron was essentially a kid playing on pure talent alone with no help. As for the Spurs, they pretty much had the same big 3 including Pop! Well, with 4 MVP’s and an NBA title under his belt I think ole boy is better prepared to do battle this time.
Instead of having veterans like Bruce Bowen and Michael Finley forcing him into spots on the floor that he wasn’t comfortable shooting from, he’s got a young Kawhi Leonard drawing the assignment. He’s only in his second year and this ain’t that bruh!
This ain’t Steph Curry or Zach Randolph, players that were hot going into their individual series' with the Spurs that they completely limited to advance. Curry averaged 24 points and 10 dimes in the upset of Denver but was held to 18 points and only 6 assists against the Spurs. Zach averaged 18 and 10.8 rebounds against OKC but got carjacked against the Spurs being held at gun point to only 11 points and 12 rebounds. This ain’t that playboy!
LeBron is shooting 51 percent and 39 percent from 3-point bruh and you’ve got a young boy that’s still wet behind the ears assigned to the best player in the world. In my Bernie Mac voice, “It’s gonna be T-R-O-U-B-L-E!" Now the points in the paint and rebounds will still favor San Antonio but if the Heat can get out into transition, ole 146 year old Tim Duncan can’t run the floor well enough to keep up.
Memphis played right into the Spurs hands and made it easy. They played a half-court game which was perfect for them and they dismantled the Grizzles. I think that the Heat already knows that if they don’t run these boyz they’ve got problems because Tony Parker ain’t George Hill and the Indiana Pacers. The Spurs aren’t going to turn that joint over all night every night to keep the Heat in the game. Pop will make them earn this one playboy no doubt about it.
On some real talk, if it comes down to coaching it's a wrap for the Heat. So Spoelstra better let all of that talent he's got earn every bit of the bread they're paying 'em! The Heat have to win on youth and talent bruh because ain't gonna on coaching!

So put your seat belt on playa, because this joint should be good. You’ve got Mr. Fundamental puttin’ in work in the paint and the King taking advantage of a young boy that has no idea what he’s in for. It's like a boy getting his license and going to by a Ferrari 458 on the same day! That joints bound to get away from him sooner rather than later.
The question is, will the role players on both teams show up and handle their business? Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The only time the Miami role players play well is when they get up say 10 points on an opponent. Then everybody’s shots start to fall. Otherwise, those duns can’t breathe or shoot. So it will be mandatory for them to run the Spurs. I say that Heat WILL be able to run them and LeBron wins his second title in 6 playboy!
