"Well at least I got my bread bruh!" |
Well it doesn’t look like ole dull Jerry Jones and the Dallas Cowboys can seem to stay away from easy. Once again they got embarrassed on national TV on Sunday Night Football when the New Orleans Saints beat the brakes off of them 49-17.
I’ll continue to ask Cowboy fans the same freakin’ question, “Why do you insist on supporting an owner that clearly doesn’t want to win?” Jerry Jones isn’t concerned about winning championships bruh; he’s only concerned about making money. The Cowboys are the richest team in the National Football League valued at $2 billion and they’ve only had two playoff wins since 1996.
Every year these ole dull talking heads on radio and TV start screaming about how good the Cowboys are going to be in the preseason. Almost to a man these duns are putting these boyz in the Super Bowl or being one of the elite teams in the league every year just by looking at the talent on the roster. But I keep telling you boyz that as long as Jerry Jones owns the joint they’re going to be mediocre!
You cannot be the owner, general manager and team president at the same time bruh! Who’s making football decisions when the general manager is brain farting? The president or the owner? Unless this clown has multiple personalities that he can turn on and off at the drop of a hat, it will never work.
I don’t even blame Jerry for the foolishness that's going on in Big D! I blame the dull fans that keep supporting this ignorance. It’s like the foolishness that is the Chicago Cubs! They haven’t won a championship since 1908 and you would swear that they won the joint last year. You can’t get anywhere near Wrigley Field on game day and everybody in the freakin’ area is a Cubs fans. The White Sox won the World Series a few years ago and nobody cared.
Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! As long as folks keep buying tickets and supporting a loser, ownership has no reason to even attempt to win. It doesn’t make since to make trades or go out and spend crazy money on a player or players that will help make the team better because that will only cut into his profit margin. They can’t sell any more tickets than they’re already selling. They can’t sell any more food and beer than they’re already selling!
Here’s my diehard Cowboy fan screaming from the roof of his building, “What are you talking about bruh! We just signed Tony Romo to a 6 year $108 million contract! Are you crazy?” No I’m not but you and Jerry Jones are! How many playoff games did you win with that dun before you agreed to pay him $108 million? So did it make sense to give him that type of bread?
Well that depends on who’s answering the freakin' question. If you’re a fan that’s looking to win, the answer is no. If you’re Jerry Jones and you’re looking to keep the same act on stage that boyz have already been buying in to, the answer is yes. If fools are already buying tickets to see the one trick pony then why go get a 4 trick pony if you’re not going to sell any more tickets?
Sorry Cowboy fans but you’re stuck with this foolishness until you wise up and start staying at home. The only way Jerry is going to change the way he does business is when he starts losing money. Otherwise, you’re nothing but the Chicago Cubs, the Cleveland Browns and oh yes, the Chicago "freakin'" Bears too! Stop me when I start lyin’!
