1st Verse
Five months of hostility and rage built up by the Cleveland fans only to see the team show up and embarrass the city once again. What as so terrible was that the city is stuck with a bunch of wimps for a team. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. The score was irrelevant. This was the biggest event in Cleveland sports history and the team sold them out. I mean right from the start. The fans and the owner, which is your boss, clearly don’t like this guy. However, you show up giving him love as a soon as he comes out of the locker room. Anderson Varejao runs up and hugs the guy. Even if you guys are cool and they still talk daily, your fans and your boss hate this guy. You can’t give him any love until after the game. Are you kidding me?
Chorus
Where is the loyalty for the home front?
I mean the love that keeps us tight
Even if it’s bad we can make it right
I’m looking for the bond that can’t be broke
Are you kidding me? This ain’t no joke
2nd verse
I couldn’t believe what I was seeing when Lebron was over at the Cleveland bench laughing and talking with the players. At the beginning of the game King James was clearly shook. You could see it in his eyes and he was fully aware of it. So he goes over and starts talking to the players to help him clam down and it worked. He completely ran game on the Cavs. You let him off the hook right in front of your fans. That’s like you getting bullied at school only to go get your older brother and he shows up and is cool with the guy. You’re standing there watching and there’s nothing you can do about it. Are you kidding me?
Chorus
Where is the loyalty for the home front?
I mean the love that keeps us tight
Even if it’s bad we can make it right
I’m looking for the bond that can’t be broke
Are you kidding me? This ain’t no joke
3rd Verse
I read an article yesterday about how “Boobie” Gibson was upset at Lebron because of the whole talking to the bench situation. Not because he was actually talking to the bench but because of the things that he was saying. He said that Lebron was saying things that were offensive. First of all you’re a grown man and you still got people calling you “Boobie”. That’s what I’m offended by. What is that? You’re offended by a guy talking trash to you when more than twenty thousand people are calling him everything imaginable. Are you kidding me?
Chorus
Where is the loyalty for the home front?
I mean the love that keeps us tight
Even if it’s bad we can make it right
I’m looking for the bond that can’t be broke
Are you kidding me? This ain’t no joke
