Why Paul George has earned boyz respect but still lacks that dawg! "Unleashed"

"Ice water runnin' through my veins bruh! What you talkin' bout?"
Naomi Wolf, the well-known author, once said, "Obstacles, of course, are developmentally necessary: they teach kids strategy, patience, critical thinking, resilience and resourcefulness." Joshua Waitzkin, the chess player, gave it to us like this, "The moment we believe that success is determined by an ingrained level of ability as opposed to resilience and hard work, we will be brittle in the face of adversity." Gever Tulley, the writer, poured out a lil' liquor for all the dead homie when he spit, "Persistence and resilience only come from having been given the chance to work though difficult problems."

Well playas...Paul George has certainly been given the chance to work through some difficult problems. Two summers ago this dun broke his leg in half foolin' around with the unnecessary USA Basketball and missed darn near the entire 2014-15 season. He missed all but 6 games bruh. Ole boy has put in the work necessary to be an elite NBA player all over again. You've gotta respect his hustle for that.

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! If boyz wanted to question how legit this dun is, pull him over and look at his license and registration. Run the plates playboy! It's legit!!! In his first full season back on the grind he's ballin' out of control and even made the All-Star team. Not only did he make the joint but he put up 41 points which was only two points from breakin' Wilt Chamberlain's all-time record of 42.

The dun would have broken it if Kyle Lowry wasn't hatin' and pullin' up shots within the final minute of the game knowin' that ole boy was that close to breakin' it. But that's another talk show for another day called "For Haters Only." My point here is that PG13 has overcome the obstacle of a devestatin' injury and is ballin' like a cat that was never even injured.

On Saturday night he went into DC and popped them for 38 points in a one point win 100-99 after unloadin' 35 in Charlotte in a loss on Friday 108-101. One thing about this season for PG is that he's been consistent win or lose. He's proven that he can bring the funk EVERY night and that's all a boy can ask. He's averagin' more points this year than in any other time in his career at 23.7 per game.

Even though this cat is ballin' he lacks the edge he needs to be a leader boyz can respond to. It's great that he's goin' to work on boyz every night but he's not makin' the cats around him better. They're just okay. Now don't get me wrong playboy, the young boy, Myles Turner, is a MONSTER but that has nothin' to do with PG. He's ballin' because he's got that thang in him. He wants it more than most cats want it around the league even at 19 years old. The young boy is special.

I've been sayin' all season that this team was just too nice because the best player is just too nice. I thought that Monta Ellis would emerge as the leader because he's the only Alpha Male in the buildin' but that hasn't happened yet. So now it's on PG but he needs that dawg, that killer, that assassin to drive these cats into the playoffs and make a run. Will he prove me wrong and buy some edge from the pawn shop in Haughville or will he just be the nice guy that puts up 30 plus and goes to the crib? In order for the Pacers to do anything come playoff time they've got to have a leader that can command respect and normally the best player has to do it. Showin' his resilience has at least earned him their respect. Now all he's gotta do is unleash that dawg or go buy one bruh. Stop me when I start lyin'!

Playas Thesaurus:
1) Spit: verb - to say
2) Dun: noun - the person in question, dude, guy, etc. It's whoever I'm talkin' about and its non-gender specific.
3) Haughville: noun - one hood in Indianapolis
