Bo Knows (The REAL reason there's only 3 brothers playin' at Wisconsin)

"Oh! So you gone try to call me out bruh?"

Winston Churchill once said, “The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it, ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.” Ismail Haniyeh, a senior political leader of Hamas, gave it to us like this, “Some people think that the truth can be hidden with a little cover-up and decoration. But as time goes by, what is true is revealed, and what is fake fades away.” Then the big homie, Galileo, hit boyz in the dome with, “All truths are easy to understand once they are discovered; the point is to discover them.”

Well playas…all you’ve gotta do is sit in the cut and wait for a boy to tell you who he is and given the right circumstance he’ll tell you everything you wanna know. For years I’ve been askin’ the question, “Why aren’t there any brothers playin’ basketball at Wisconsin?” Either Bo Ryan is doin’ it on purpose or the climate inside that basketball program is not very invitin’ to young cats where they feel comfortable enough being there. Either way it’s a problem! Why? Because it’s impossible in the year 2015 to have a state school’s basketball program with only 3 brothers! Impossible!!

On Monday night ole Bo, in his anger in losin’ to Duke, spit out what I’ve been thinkin’ about him for at least the past 5 or 6 years. In the post-game presser he said and I quote playa, “All the seniors that I’ve had – hard to say that word. But every player that’s played through the program, OK, we don’t rent- a-player. You know what I mean? Try to take a fifth year guy. That’s OK. If other people do that, that’s OK. I like trying to build from within.”

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1^st! First of all, the dun was takin’ a shot at Coach K and any other coach in America for purposely recruitin’ the best players available. The best players available are normally black about 70 to 80 percent of the time. This isn’t my opinion pimpin’ these are the facts. If 80 to 85 percent of the McDonald’s All-Americans are black then the facts speak for themselves playa. Look around the country and see who's on the floor. Black players! But not at Wisconsin!

So again, how are you runnin’ a successful Division 1 basketball program in 2015 at a state school and only have 3 black players? I'm not sayin' that they should be startin'! I'm just sayin' there should at least be more than 3 on the freakin' team! Every time I see Wisconsin take the floor I think that I’m watchin’ the movie “Glory Road” when Kentucky showed up with an all-white startin’ line-up and Texas Western walked into the joint with 5 brothers for the first time in NCAA history. Keep in mind that that was in 1966 bruh!

Again, what’s goin’ on inside of that program where they can be a winner every year and brothers aren’t goin’ up there to play? Don’t tell me that there aren’t enough brothers to go around because EVERYBODY has brothers on the floor. There are 9 brothers playin’ at Harvard in the freakin’ Ivy League!!!! So don’t tell me that they can’t qualify to get in because it’s a darn state school! There are 5 brothers playin’ at Northwestern which is the Ivy League of the freakin’ Big Ten!!!!

So when ole Bo stuck his foot in his mouth he didn’t realize that a real cat had been waitin’ on him to say what I was thinkin’ for years! It’s easy to build a program from within if you're purposely aren't recruitin’ the best talent available to you playa. Wisconsin has become an elite program over the past few years so why don’t they have elite players tryin’ to kick in the door to play there? Are they bein’ invited or are they bein’ shut out? I'm not sayin' that Kaminsky and Dekker aren't elite because they are and they both will be drafted. However, what other good Division 1 program in America has only 3 black players?

It's the same freakin' question that boyz asked when you look up and see 125 FBS programs and we've had only 4 or 5 black coaches at times! It's a legitimate question. It's an even better question because if you keep winnin' you keep gettin' access to better players! So how is it that you only have 3 black players on your roster if 85 percent of the best players out here are black?

Stop actin' like the freakin' green elephant isn't butt naked standin' in the corner smokin' a square. Everybody, black and white, can see it and have made a mental note of it durin' the games. But I'm the only one that was bold enough to ask the freakin' question!

On some real talk, Wisconsin is only 79 miles from Milwaukee and only 146 miles from Chicago and those places are littered with talent that, oh yeah, happens to be black! Bo went to the Chi (Lisle) and got Frank Kaminsky but I bet he didn’t even holler at a boy on the south or west sides of town. And if he did he wasn’t as invitin’! How do I know? Because if a kids are bein’ heavily recruited to play for a program that constantly wins they’re goin’! Boyz want to play for championship programs and Wisconsin has been to two straight Final Four’s! So Again, what’s goin’ on at Wisconsin?

The only brother in the startin’ line up after Jackson was injured, Nigel Hayes, felt the NEED to prove to people how intelligent he was. Durin’ the post-game press conference’s he used words that had absolutely nothin’ to do with the line of questionin’ just to let boyz know that he was worthy of bein’ there! Why did he feel the need to do that and why didn’t anybody in the Wisconsin athletic program tell him that he was makin’ a fool of himself? Because they wanted to prove to the country the same thing. “See we’ve got one and he’s smart.”

When people use words to prove their intelligence they’re embarrassin’ themselves in front of intelligent people. Rule No.1 in the art of communication is to speak to your audience at the level that the dumbest person in the room can understand. That’s why all patient education material disseminated to physicians’ offices is written at a 5^th grade level.

Intelligent people understand their audience and they don’t have to prove that they are intelligent. So why did Nigel do that after every game playa? Because the environment dictated it. Tell me I’m crazy if you want to but I know that there should be more than 3 brothers playin’ at an elite program like Wisconsin that is a state school when elite academic private schools like Harvard, Northwestern and freakin’ Butler have more black players than they do! Stop it! So I’ll ask the question again playas, “What’s REALLY goin’ on at Wisconsin? Nobody has ever thought to asked the question because he's winnin'. However, when you get mad after losin' the national championship and tell the world how you really feel, real cats wanna know how you REALLY feel. Stop me when I start lyin’!
