"You ain't in the limo tonight bruh? Naw son! I got work to do!" |
Well the Indiana Pacers spoke volumes as they dipped out west to let the rest of these duns out here know that they are the real deal by jumping all over the Golden State Warriors 102-94. Now the final score wasn’t indicative of the beat down that pursued in the Bay playboy.
At one point the Pacers were up 20 points in the third quarter with these boyz in a headlock under water. It was almost like they let them up for a little air before eventually drowning them in their own pool.
The cats in the Bay Area thought that since they had some duns comin’ in from the Midwest and especially from Indiana that they could easily run game on them. They tried to speak in that ole E-40 side language and got caught up behind the Oracle Arena in Oakland. Too Short tried to tell ‘em but they wouldn’t listen and the Luniz couldn’t even put 5 on it bruh.
Paul George, who didn’t score a single point against these cats the last time the Pacers showed up in Oakland in December of 2012, went to work on these boyz. He led Indiana with 23 points as the rest of the boyz jumped out of the limo, including Roy Hibbert's non-shoe wearin'..., and spoke in plain hood English. “Unhance the rock playboy and bow down to the Beast from the East! We in this piece!”
Hibbert put up 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, David West didn’t cold cock anybody but he did throw 17 in the pot. Lance “The Don DaDa” who was #BornReady brought his usual edge to work and dropped off 14 points, 10 rebounds and threw 7 dimes to call it lovely. George Hill was the cat that kept kicking a boy every time he fell. He dropped a quiet 15 on ‘em and went to the club without anybody even knowing he was there.
The ability to speak to and inspire large crowds was a gift that the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. possessed and it served this nation well. So it was only fitting that the Pacers spoke to the Western Conference with the same eloquence on his national holiday as they put boyz on notice. “We’re out here and we want our respect and we ain’t leavin’ until we take it!” Stop me when I start lyin’!”
