How the media is painting an unfair portrait of both Peyton and Cam! "Pass"

"It is what it is playa!"

Kesha, the famous singer, once said, "You really can't stereotype people or put them in boxes, it's unfair." Thomas Malthus, the 18th century English cleric, gave it to us like this, "The rich, by unfair combinations, contribute frequently to prolong a season of distress among the poor." Then Bill Watterson, the well-known cartoonist, poured out a lil' liquor for all the dead homies when he spit, "I know the world isn't fair, but why isn't it ever unfair in my favor?" 

Well playas...that's what black folks quietly ask on a daily basis. Why isn't the joint ever unfair in my favor! Just throw me a bone once a year bruh. As we dive into the hype of Super Bowl 50 boyz wanna act like the pink elephant isn't standin' in the room with his pants down takin' a squat in the middle of the floor. There's one story line and it's the "Great White Hype vs. the Young Black Disrespectful Thug." These other fake media-types won't say it so I will. Everybody's thinkin' it and everybody's pickin' sides. 

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The mainstream media has been killin' Cam Newton for just bein' himself. And bein' himself has led the Carolina Panthers to a league best 17-1 record and a trip to the Super Bowl. He's never in the news for doin' anything but playin' the game of football and havin' fun in the process. Oh, I forgot, he was on the news one other time in the last 5 years when he was involved in a humanly possible car accident. Other than that the kid has been a model citizen and  great ambassador  to the game of football and the NFL. 

Yet he's demonized as an arrogant thug that is disrespectful to the game because he celebrates after he scores a touchdown. However, he's not the first black player to ever celebrate and dance after gettin' into the end zone. Duns like Billy "White Shoes" Johnson, Deion Sanders, Michael Irving, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens and I could name another 100 black players that have celebrated touchdowns. But they weren't quarterbacks bruh! 

That's the problem these fake media-types and fans have. Cam is in a position of authority that they feel more comfortable with white players havin' not black players. He can't act like Deion or Billy and be the quarterback because that's a position that's reserved for white players. Therefore, he's a thug and he's an idiot because he's disrespectin' the position. You and I both know that if Cam were playin' wide receiver or defensive back and he danced all the way down the sideline boyz wouldn't say a word. As a matter of fact, they would applaud it. I know I'm preachin' playboy so you can pass the collection plate. 

Not even a good month ago Peyton Manning's name surfaced on a list of duns accused of receivin' multiple shipments of HGH at his crib down in Florida. They were addressed to his wife in 2011. The same year when he had neck fusion surgery. Now somebody's gotta explain why a dun that just had a possible career endin' injury is gettin' HGH sent to his crib isn't bein' blasted for that alone!! 

Everybody and their baby's momma's momma, Ms Jackson, thought that the dun's career was surely over and two years later he's playin' in a Super Bowl against the Seahawks. But NOOOOOOBODY is lookin' at this cat sideways TODAY and the accusations have all but disappeared durin' the Super Bowl 50 hype! But Cam is the thug and the guy nobody likes. Who's painting this picture bruh?  

Can you imagine if Cam were the cat with the HGH showin' up to his house in 2011? Do you know how bad they these media-types would be destroyin' his character right now and callin' him a cheater even without proof that he did a thing wrong? But Peyton is glidin' in like he's in a Spike Lee Joint spotless! That's the double standard that I'm talkin' about bruh! A brother just wants a "Once a Year" fair pass in this world. We know that to ask for fairness daily is impossible but at least give a boy one day. 

You don't even have to give it to the brother. Just treat the white cat like you would treat the brother sometimes! If there are accusations of steroid shipments to Manning then call him a cheater like you would Cam without proof. Boyz did it with Berry Bonds! And we all know Barry was takin' steroids! We ain't crazy! But we all knew that Mark McGuire was takin' them too. But boyz didn't ride him as bad. Ride them both the same way if they both were doin' something wrong! We just want fairness!!! 

Don't treat Cam like a criminal and he's been the best quarterback in the NFL this year and he's been a model citizen. Stop it! You sound crazy tryin' to paint him as a Young Black Thug because he sees the world through an entirely different prism than you see it from. 

He's not goin' to operate like Peyton. Why? Because Peyton grew up rich with a daddy that played in the NFL. He lived in a different type of environment with completely different types of friends and influences. Therefore, he's goin' to navigate through circumstances differently. He sees the world differently. Therefore, he reacts to stimuli differently. So to ask Cam to act like Peyton when he scores or any other quarterback, for that matter, is asinine. When people see the world differently they respond to it differently. My son, who is black, does not see the world the same way I see it! Why? Because he grew up with upper middle class parents in Indianapolis and I grew up with middle class parents smack dab in the middle of the ghetto in Gary, Indiana! I'll explain that one at another time. We're both black but we respond to stimuli differently. 

When are these mainstream media-types goin' to stop tryin' to put black folks into boxes that are built for white folks? People always talk about wantin' diversity but what they really want is the look of diversity. Havin' true and authentic diversity is when you are willin' to not only accept the differences in a person's appearance but also the differences in their thinkin'. If we all were the same the world would stand still. 

Just like the world of sports journalism. Why? Because 92 percent of all sports journalists are white and almost 80 percent of the athletes that they're coverin' in the NFL and NBA are black. How are you goin' to tell me what a dun is doin' or thinkin' if you don't understand him or the environment that he comes from rich, middle class or poor?  Would you really listen to the Alligator Hunter if he'd NEVER been around alligators? Very few of these media-types really understand black culture so therefore, to listen to them try to explain why a cat is right or wrong in his response to stimuli is ridiculous. Stop me when I stop lyin'!
