Reality Check (Michigan State 78 Kentucky 74)

"I got this young playa!"
I walked into a barber shop on the west side of Chicago and boyz were arguing about reality. Albert Einstein was getting’ a fade and said, “Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.” Colin Powell was sitting in the back playing dominoes and cut Al off by saying, “A dream doesn’t become reality through magic; it takes sweat, determination and hard work.” Then Lao Tzu, the ancient Chinese philosopher, got up and shouted, “Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. Don’t resist them – that only creates sorrow. Let reality be reality. Let things flow naturally forward in whatever way they like.”

The reality is that Michigan State was a better T.E.A.M. than Kentucky was for an entire game on Tuesday night playboy and that’s why they walked out of the joint with UK’s Jordan’s and jewelry 78-74! Now Kentucky had more talent but experience, leadership and just plain ego beat them.

Let’s keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! The duns at Michigan State have cable too. They’ve been hearing all of the talking heads giving Kentucky all of the love on potential alone. They know how to count too bruh. They see these duns ranked No.1 and they were in high school last year. So don’t think for one minute that the leadership within the Spartan locker room let the rest of the team know that these young punks got earn it tonight. This ain’t high school and we’re on scholarship too. And on some real talk, we got some McDonald’s All-Americans in this piece too. So don’t even trip!

The Wildcats showed up with a list of Who’s Who recruits! They had 6 McDonald’s All-Americans and 5 out of the top 10 ESPN Top 100 in the nation! Who does that bruh? John Calipari does that’s who? But here was the problem walking in the building. Tom Izzo and the Michigan State Spartans led by last year’s Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Gary Harris!

The Spartans have already played on big stages and the Wildcats were named the No.1 team in the land on hype alone. So you already know that the duns from East Lansing had something to say about that. So while the Kentucky freshman were still trying to figure out where they were when they tipped that joint off, G. Harris & Co. were in their pockets early and was up 10-0 before Kentucky figured out that they even needed to use the restroom first.

When Dr. James Naismith invented the game of basketball he intended it to be played with five people together. Not a bunch of guys playing individually with a whole lot of talent. That was the difference in the ball game. By the time all of the young thunder cats got on the same page they were in a gang fight on the West Side of Chicago wearing the wrong colors bruh.

However, Kentucky’s Julius Randle put those boyz on his back and went to work in the second half scoring 23 of his 27 points. He’s a beast and by February the young boyz in Lexington will be wanted for aggravated assault in 6 states the way they’ll be beating the brakes off of boyz.

The lost to the Spartans is probably the best thing that could have ever happened to them because they learned that you’ve got to play as T.E.A.M. to win at this level. Check the egos at the door and don’t turn the freakin’ ball over because a 4 point loss with 17 turnovers will make you sick at the stomach bruh! Free Pepto-Bismol for everybody! Stop me when I start lyin’!
