Another example of Kobe holdin' the Lakers hostage bruh! "NOOOOO"

David Antin, the famous poet, gave it to us like this, "It's hard being a hostage in somebody else's mouth - or a character in somebody else's novel." Then the ever so eloquent LL Cool J shut the buildin' down when he spit, "You can't let your past hold your future hostage." 

Well playas...that's exactly what the Lakers did on Friday night! These duns allowed their past to hold them hostage when they had a boy on fiyyyahhh that couldn't miss in the fourth quarter. With only 4 seconds left to play and only down a bucket the Lakers put the ball into Kobe's hands and the dun missed! Let me correct that, the ball could have gone to either Lou Williams or Kobe and Kobe took over. Under normal circumstances 5 or 10 years ago or maybe even 3 years ago that would have made sense but not last night playa. 

Let's keep it real or all the way 100, whichever comes 1st! Lou Williams was goin' NUTS on OKC as he put up 44 points on 'um! He knocked down 23 in the fourth quarter and at that point was shootin' 12 of 24 from the field!!! No way do you give Kobe the rock or even allow him near the rock when this dun is goin' nuts like that!!! It's situations like this that keep the Lakers from movin' forward as an organization. 

If Lou is on fire, keep feedin' him!! Kobe is washed up bruh!!! Don't give him the rock just because his name is Kobe Bryant. He ain't the same dude!! The Black Mamba is now the red garden snake! He's the picture on the box! He's freakin' Lady Eloise bruh!

How in the world do you expect for these young players to EVER develop a sense of confidence and real swagger if you never allow them to come out of the shadows of a dun that is about to retire? No way should Kobe have been anywhere near the rock on that play. And it was selfish of him to even take over like that when Lou is goin' nuts. When Byron Scott started drawin' up the play Kobe should have been man enough to say, "Hey bruh, this dun is hot! He needs the rock!" But NOOOOOOO!! Kobe is Kobe! So he did what Kobe's been doin' for the past 3 years. Holdin' a boy hostage! Stop me when I start lyin'!
